Uncle Hairy -- as you leave, toss some red and green dye into the Fountain of Living Waters. Might help them get in the "spirit" of the season, eh? :)-->
-
My guess is that they had computers online, logged into GreaseSpot Cafe, to see what we were talking about. :D--> But --- only in the priviliged rooms, don't cha know! ;)-->

So -- did this mixture result in someone like Goliath, in I Sam. 17?? Big guy like that, ya think he was the "product" of humans?? I don't think so, but that is me. :)--> And yes -- angels are messengers, as you said, but I don't see the whale connection. Hebrews 1:14 says angels are ministering spirits. I can only agree with that definition, since I have heard no other.

Seriously -- my life (and habits), were such a catastrophe (before twi) that I have actually gotten some good pointers from them, Did I listen?? Naw -- I didn't, but everytime I look at the progeny of the "dust bunnies" that have been here at my house for over a decade, I sometimes get the urge to actually implement those pointers. :D--> Stupid habits?? The only one I can "accuse" twi of inflicting on me is --- not drinking anything when I eat. Don't know if that is good or bad, but I am comfortable with it, even after all these years.

I wear surgical gloves, at all times -- especially when honking someone else's horn, in the therapist's parking lot, as the owner of the car flees, (kitty safe in hand), counting steps, as they head willy-nilly into the great unknown. :)-->

PFAL Update: Believing does NOT equal receiving
dmiller replied to skyrider's topic in About The Way
Now there's a novel concept I never thought of!! :D--> Guess it is a good thing that believing doesn't equal receiving, otherwise some unsuspecting folk would be on the "receiving end" of something malicious (like a baseball bat), as others defend "their property" -- making the claim -- "I believed first!! Now get out of here!" -
Oh nooo! :(--> :(--> :(-->
-
:D--> :D--> :D--> I think Moses took it, and gave it to Aaron.
-
and --- I agree with Chuck --- that our system of "merits and demerits", will probably come to naught, once we reach the Pearly Gates -- where ever they may be! ;)-->
-
I agree it is available NOW, but pfal has nothing to do with it. :)-->

Evan -- what is the literal sense?? You have me thinking here, but I see myself born (flesh and blood) at one point in time, yet born again (of spirit), at a different time. Question -- (an honest one) -- If we can be born of spirit, on the "good side" why is it so difficult to believe that the opposite can't be true?? I don't pretend to know all that "wrong seed" may entail, yet I am not willing to summarily just "cast it out as so much wrong doctrine" either. If the new birth is spiritual, and cannot be seen, how can one say that it applies when God is involved, yet not when the devil is involved? Granted -- I am supposing that it is possible to have the "seed of the serpent", as well as supposing that it is possible to have "incorruptible seed"? One of the things that I still hang onto, from the twi days - and what vpw *taught*, is that the adversary is a copier, and can do nothing original. Pharoah's court -- the magicians could only replicate the miracles done by Aaron, for one. And then there is the Nephilim -- Genesis, chapter 6 -- (sorry Roy -- your "angel seed" won't back this one up) is an example of what can happen in the physical realm. Who is to say what can happen in the spiritual?? So -- Eagle -- GSGeorge is not the only one who believes in these things, but I suspect that he, like myself -- are willing to entertain the possibility, and try and figure out some of this stuff, without promoting it as "neccesary for salvation". :)-->

So -- Mike. You lost me, bro. I guess it's my fault this thread got de-railed into where the righteous will live in the end, but I didn't understand what you just said, especially that thing about: "The heavenly realm cannot be seen or even comprehended without spiritual eyes that are trained (mastering PFAL) to see it." --> Stephen certainly never took pfal, but as he was being stoned to death in Acts, I daresay he saw something you or I will never see, in our earthly days.

mstar -- thanks for the green magma link.

Now -- That is where the "quack-watch" folks should be directing their attention towards.

And the band played: Waltzing Matilda ... Now that I've stopped humming the tune, happy birthday!! :)-->

Julia Roberts Gives Birth To Twins Being treated like something special, out of the ordinary, validating her status as a "star". My only concern about this is, in 18 more years, we'll have two more liberals to contend with! :D-->

No -- run by a private enterprise, with a big boat, and a lake to sail it in. The booze cruise, is nothing more than a floating bar on a fancy boat. Check out THE VISTA FLEET. On the Home page, you will see it going under the ariel lift bridge here in Duluth. HAPe4me's great-grandfather, Edward Coe, was the city engineer who oversaw the building of it.

Ps --- Song -- yes I do have CES references, but knowing your dislike of such, I refrained! ;)-->

So was I, Song. "Heavan" is anywhere above earth, and "Paradise" was the original earth set up by God for mankind. By promoting the above, twi bought into the Jehovah Witness theory that 144,000 only will make it to *Heavan*, though twi never put a numeric value on the occupants, the way the JW's do. The way twi has it set up, it will be a class system, and you go where you're told, because of who you are, what you believed, etc., etc. I don't buy that. Used to, when I was in twi, but not no more. The *believers* in the OT, (imo) have just as much of a right to enjoy the fruit of their faith, as we today do. And relegating "one class of believer" to Paradise (ie - read less than Heavan), while others enjoy a higher "plane of existance" - because of what they believed - makes no sense to me. Rev. 21:22-23 talks about the new Jerusalem, with no temple, nor any need for sun or moon, since the Glory of God will be the light, and the Glory of God is the Lamb -- Jesus Christ. The Holy City descends out of Heavan (v.10). V.24 says the "saved of the nations" will walk there, but I don't see where there is a deliniation between OT, and NT. Matter of fact -- (sorry Evan, and Def!) :D--> with Jesus being a human, it makes sense to me that He would be the "chief occupant" in charge of all that is going on in the new Paradise, rather than up in Heavan. Paradise is for humans, and Jesus Christ is chief amongst us. And I can easily see anyone that fits into the category of *believer* (by God's definition - not mine), living in that city ---- which is NOT a *suburb* of Heavan, but what God initially intended. :)-->

PFAL Update: Believing does NOT equal receiving

skyrider -- you got it. Not surprising that doc didn't use this as one of his examples of "the many clear verses, explain the few *errant* ones". -
PFAL Update: Believing does NOT equal receiving
dmiller replied to skyrider's topic in About The Way
A mission statement equals receiving. :D--> -
Krys -- check out THIS SITE, and I think number 3 (fifths of a quart) is the most correct. Fifth's are in smaller bottles, therefore the "fifths-of-the-quart" seems more plausible to me. A "fifth, will fit in your back pocket, and is cheaper for one to buy, than an entire quart. Having worked "downtown", I've seen lot's of "down-and-outer's" at the corner liquor store, choosing this size of bottle. Easier to carry, and cheaper to buy.

Chuck -- :D--> I hear ya! But --- is it "Heavan", or "Paradise" we are going to? This has been brought up on Home of the Righteous, but what you said, makes sense. :)-->
-
Yes. This "cult" meets reguarly, at Lambeau Field, in Green Bay, Wisconsin --usually on the (now observed) Sabbath day of Sunday, for an afternoon of athletic competition (sometimes they are "athletes with spirit"), and when such is accomplished -- they actually do savour the taste of the cheese on their heads. On occasion, they move their "service" to Monday evenings, and their enthusiasim is no less abated, though they are a day late, and usually a touchdown short. :D--> Yup -- yer right. Check to see what cultwatch.com has to say, to find out what this Green and Gold cult is up to! :)-->
