Well --- shoot. I know this has been posted here before (leastways I think it has), but if you take a look at THIS SITE, you'll see how the "believing aspect" gets really messed up. And if he believed for his body to shut down ( as CG claims in the POP) would that be positive believing, or negative???? I haven't a clue, but I'm sure it is explained somewhere in the depths of pfal, that we have yet to discover. So many questions. So few answers.

Just a passing thought after seeing the ad, reading the UCC statement underneath it, and hearing of it's rejection -- I wonder if CBS and NBC caved in to "Main Stream" Denominations, that were obviously the ones being portrayed, by the bouncer scene.

What am I missing here??? --> I saw the ad, and after the bouncer scenes, the next two frames (1 second each) say -- "Jesus never turned anyone away" "Neither do we." Then they show the photos of their congregation, with all the various ages, "minorities", etc., etc. How can this be called "non-inclusive?? The statement directly under the clip, said : The only "inciteful" part of the ad is the bouncers, and UCC makes the distinct delineation (in those two frames), that they are definitely NOT part of the church scene that only allows well-dressed, well-groomed white folk, and no one else in to worship. Like I say -- what did I miss? I think CBS and others would welcome this ad as a "politically correct" one, as well as a slap in the face to those like TBN -- who promote the opposite of all that CBS espouses.

Did I say that some have "demerits attatched", while others do not? No. What I was addressing -- PLAIN AND SIMPLE -- was our system of merits, and demerits -- are probably going to come to naught, when we all get addressed personally by our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Docvic is going to have a lot to answer for, as will you and I. I am not castigating him by what I said, nor am I validating him. If ya wanna know the truth, I'm worried about me, and no one else. So -- I know this a lot to ask, but Mike -- please get off the "high horse" you are on, and realize that some of us here actually think Jesus Christ is the final judge, and that all of us (someday), are going to be facing Him. I don't know if He'll go in alphabetical order or not, and I don't know your last name -- but mine is Miller, and Jesus will get to me before Wierwille. I hope I don't take up too much of His time.

Their last name is Christensen, and given their liberal bent on politics, I told em "with a name like that, Skye could make a great news anchor some day." :)--> I get along with them just fine, cause they are fiddle-friendly!! :D-->

you're right about Strong's number 8577. What I don't understand -- is how you can equate this with angels?? Why does the word "great" before the word "whales" have any significance, when it comes to angels, and the spiritual realm??

According to I Samuel 17:4 -- Goliath was 6 cubits, and a span in height. A cubit is 21 to 25 inches, and a span is 10 1/2 inches. At the least, he was close to 13 feet tall. Not normal -- in my humble opinion. :)-->
