  1. :)--> It was still a good link, though.
  2. Trefor -- perhaps you already know about the Cortright Site, but if not, THIS PAGE is their link for believers around the world. Maybe someone in the UK would be able to help you finding Robert Wilkinson. (He is not listed on the site).
  3. You mean --- there's a science to this!?!?
  4. JT -- You hit the nail on the head. Regardless what they promote next, they don't want to give up the $$, but will milk it for all it's worth.
  5. Once coffee is made, can it be oxygenated??
  6. I knew he was a fruicake, when he taught that if you want to walk on water -- you start with puddles, and with practice, you "graduate" to larger bodies of water. -->
  7. I agree with Uncle Hairy. They'll probably take "the best" from wherever they find it, and hope that pfal and wap will fade from memory. To come up with anything original would be admitting they were wrong before.
  8. ((Kit)) -- so very well said! :)-->
  9. Reikilady -- We (I) am glad you're here, whichever road (and I do mean whichever) led you to this "Chicago". :)--> (Oak can tell you about the "many roads to Chicago", if you don't already know.)
  10. I think Shellon is too used to the real "horsey-doovers", and couldn't imagine them in someone's home. :P-->
  11. I hear you. :(--> Not-a-lot-a-fun gettin old (when you are a picker of music), but the same is happening on this end too. Dexterity is quickly becoming a thing of the past, and certain chords, and licks are becoming more formidable every day. It was fun while it lasted!
  12. How to be Unhappy ......... 1.) Accept what a total stranger tells you is wrong with your life; 2.) Sign the little green card they proffer; 3.) Sit through countless hours of "teaching"; 4.) Give all your hard earned cash away, so you don't get "spit" upon; 5.) Watch your hard earned cash being wasted in the most frivolous of ways; 6.) Sign up for a program that should have been called S.L.A.P.(Slave Labor Abundance Program) instead of; C.O.R.P.S. (Controlling Our Replaceable People Systematically); 7.) Start reading post #1, and post #2 -- and realize this comprises a lot of the "teaching" you received in S.L.A.P., While watching your cash being spent, That you gave to avoid being "spit on, After sitting through countless hours of "teaching", After you signed a little green card, Handed to you by a total stranger. Who told you you were unhappy then.
  13. Not meaning to derail here -- but is the first sentence the outcome of the 2nd one, or is the 2nd one the outcome of the first? (Which came first?? The chicken, or the egg?) :D--> :D-->
  14. I usually go to them too. 400 or so folks work for our company, and yea -- most usually end up sitting with the folks they work with directly, from the various houses they are staff at. While we may not know each other -- we all know of the many different group homes run by the company, and when people introduce themselves, it's usually "Hi -- I'm ***** from Mankato house" or something similar. The feed they put on is great, and a lot of us show up directly from work, so it is never formal. The cash bar is pretty expensive, so most save their money for the beer joint down the road. I think I'll dress up this year, in my formal GreaseSpot Cafe T-shirt! :D--> ps -- I'm David, from Noumenon. :)-->
  15. Geo -- I was just curious, that's all. Hey -- whenever you post something long like this, you give us all a chance to learn something new!
  16. And -- may I add -- that if Raf (as a professional journalist), were to plagiarize any source for a story -- he would be looking at a loss of his job, and most likely at jail time as well. What makes vpw any different? What he did was worthy of the rightful repercussions for such, even though he escaped them.
  17. George -- with your being a big fan of the Orient, I would of thought you would give this a little more credence. I would have categorized "pseudo sciences" as an "American phenomenon", utilizing information from other cultures -- for profit, and surprisingly -- you feel the same way, despite your affinity for "other cultures". Guess the definition of the term gives the answer. ;)-->
  18. Depends on who they are -- since they are gonna be there for a while. :P-->
  19. Here is a REIKI LINK, and though this may not be the best link (since I know nothing about it all), this one seems to be pretty descriptive.
  20. I always did wonder what the "Reiki" of Reikilady meant.
