I see that crime and the first date can be caused by food! Did Belle see your link yet? ;)-->
-
Am wishing him well.

I heard of one "work at home" site mentioned just the other day. If I remember right, THIS IS IT, but I'm sure there's many out there! Good Luck!! :)-->

Belle -- did you already know the *prospective* date, or is it someone you haven't met yet? If it's someone you know, I wouldn't worry either. If it's someone you've never met, do like others here suggested -- go for a walk, and coffee. Good luck!

:D--> I agree with the "U" part of it!

Crime is getting worse here too, ex70. Our town is shrinking more than growing. We have around 86,000 population -- and despite the size, there was no gang activity or *big city* problems until about 15 or so years ago. Now it seems like there's something new every day. Some of the main characters getting caught these days in drug busts are from really big towns hundreds of miles away. Guess they finally heard Duluth was wide open for business. :(-->

An Indian chief was asked by his tribe if it was going to be cold this winter, and they wondered how much wood they should gather. After thinking for a bit, he said "It should be cold. Gather a lot". The chief began to doubt his advice, and got hold of The Farmer's Almanac, and asked them if it was going to be a cold winter. They told him emphatically that it would. The chief got back to his tribe, and told them to gather even more firewood, saying that the winter would be worse than he thought. The tribe re-doubled their efforts, gathering as much wood as they could for heat and cooking purposes. The chief (still unsure about the winter forecast), got back in contact with The Farmer's Almanac, and asked them if they were sure it was going to be a cold winter. They again forcefully, and emphatically, told him "YES -- it's going to be a bad winter". This time, the chief asked them how they could be so certain. They told him -- "It's going to be a very cold winter. The Indians have really been gathering firewood this year." :D--> Everyone contributes something, and all contributions add to the totality that eventually benefits us all. ;)-->

Yup -- absolutely. Get witnessed to, and attend twig --- you're in the door. Take the foundational class --- yer family. Take the intermediate class --- you are more equipped. Take the advanced class --- you are qualified to operate manifestations. (of course -- before taking intermediate or advanced class, all the extra *advanced studies* seminars need to be taken -- making you more knowledgeable) Go WOW --- get the experiential knowledge, and one step higher. Go Corps --- sit and learn at the feet of the mog. Go University of Life -- if you have a valid excuse for not doing the corps trip, and can make it sound plausible. I'll stop there, cause I was in U of L, and never did the corps trip. But am thinking that (by a wild conjecture here), I can safely assume that once in the corps --- assignment to certain tasks were higher priority, than others, and all were designated by level of *committment*. Imho --- the only true insiders --- are those that call the shots. Everyone else is a pawn on the chessboard called twi. Ocassionally, those pawns may become a castle, a bishop, or a horse -- but never a King, or Queen.

Mr. H --- I think you are right. I am registered there under a different name, and am (basically) refused entrance each time I try to go see what's up. I just don't care about it anymore, though it was a *diversion* to be able to visit for a bit, and see that the more things change, the more they remain the same.

Nude, or otherwise? :D--> :D-->

HERE is one of the songs. Kinda reminds me of Pure Prairie League, but when they perform live, the song can go on for an entire set. :)-->

Went to a concert tonight to hear Monroe Crossing, and was pleasantly surprised, by the opening act, Trampled by Turtles. Trampled By Turtles is a 4 piece *jam band*, but bluegrass style. They are a local band from here in Duluth, and in their early to mid twenties. I went to hear Monroe Crossing, but left wishing I had heard more of TBT. (ps -- click on music/store on their site, to hear them.) Music is alive and well, in the Northland

When was the first time you knew of sexual abuse/harrasment
dmiller replied to Jim's topic in About The Way
I didn't hear of it, until the mid, to late 80's. It was the final kick in the butt, that got me over the twi threshhold, and out the door. -
Yes, and amen to that. Yophoto (I think that is the handle) mentioned that things now had to go under *construction*, on that site, where it had previously been unneccessary. Right after the time Abigail found it, and made it known. Go figure. -->

Baptism by (internet) fire!! Heh heh I still can't even get in there, and the more I think on it, the less I want to. The little that is/was being said there, far outweighs my desire to see what they are up to (these days). The only discussion I really saw talked about (until GS showed up) was how blessed certain folks were at some *advance*. Geez --- do they still call them advances? --> Even the blind leading the blind "advance" -- right into the ditch! :D-->

Wacky -- am wondering what you worried about for the previous 4 years of the noughties!!!! :D-->

Digest/Commentary re: propfal thread-Gen com.
dmiller replied to WordWolf's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
I used * -- * marks around my comment, making it a (not so facetious statement), yet more of a sarcastic one, for which I apologize. I find it both ludicrious, and ridiculous that Jesus Christ (sitting at the right hand of the Father -- God) would be reading from the works of vpw, which were all plagiarized, instead of listening to the *author* instead -- right there at His left hand. Certainly I know that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the *unforgivable sin*, and I'm mulling that one over in my mind, as to what it means, but what I did was put your statement into the heap of rhetorical junk that one normally finds from denominationally promoted blindness, and propagated as doctrine. :)--> -
BINGO!!

How about the nought-ies. ;)--> "Seventies, Eighties, Nineties, and Noughties" Don't be naughty, in the noughties! :D-->
