  1. Vickles -- Ahem -- you know that I am only 3 hours away from you, and I would dearly love to hop in the truck, put on some good tunes, have a thermos of coffee handy, and come down and *kick foot*, if need be. And after I am done there, meebe you can come up here, and do some *kick foot* on my boss Tim, who intensely dislikes both the people he works with, as well as the job he is in. Would you consider that an even *trade*? I can use my height to my advantage, when getting in other folks faces, and would be glad to do so for you too. Just let me know. ;)-->

Would getting rid of the "list of posts" (view all posts, by so and so) found in each of our public profiles help? I don't care if folks go over what I've said previously, but if you got rid of that, it might open up some space for you too. I doubt if many (or any) go to a person's profile to see what they said in the past.
  4. Ex70's -- :D--> :D--> :D--> PLEASE tell me your wife isn't reading this thread! Otherwise -- meebe you will be the *target* at your next shoot??
  5. Wyte -- Ha! Reminds me of something that happened not too long ago to me. I was downtown, and a guy *accosted* me on the sidewalk (a block away from a liquor store), with the following "spiel" --- "Excuse me , sir. I am so sorry to bother you, but I wish to purchase a quart of beer, and I find myself lacking .85 cents, and was wondering if you could help me out?" I gave him 10 points for originality, and a coupla bucks to buy more than he asked for, feeling pretty good about doing so, even if it was for a beer. Am guessing I'd have gotten zero points from twi for that action, but it sure felt good to do it, and I know for a fact, that guy was *blessed*. :)-->
  6. Righttttt --- all except those in the upper echelon!! --> Is this plane big enough for you, Mr. Vic?? Are you sure this motorcoach has all the amenities you need? Wouldn't you really like a vintage Harley, instead of this brand new one?? Nope -- not there to make a personal fortune, that's fer damn sure. Well -- at least most didn't.
  7. From the Arizona Raquetball Site Heckuva *waiver* you have to sign there, just to compete, but I guess they are doing the CYA route. It wasn't on a little green card was it?? :D--> I can just imagine the twi version --> : "I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release all rights and claims for damages we have against TWI event sponsors (errr--- ministry leaders) and their respective agents for any and all injuries (either physical, spiritual, or mental). We also acknowledge the potential risk of "I" injury during competition (err -- I mean time spent *in*), and can provide certification in writing that all protective "I" guards have been totally let down, so as to conform with all standards (or lack there-of) specified by the currently reigning BOD, or MOG, or who-ever-the-heck-is-in-power, at the time. By registering to take part in this ministry, we release all rights, period ............"

Law of Gravity -- $hit flows downhill. Guessing the top echelon didn't *flush* all that often. Kept it for themselves.

  11. Socks -- Zshot is obviously working his way *up the ladder* to be a spiritual athlete!! :D-->

  16. Ha! I was out for 17 years (mas o menos), and never knew what was going on, until I finally got the computer, found NO WAY OUT, and started reading some stories about folks that I knew personally. Leadership folks -- in prison for embezzlement, being sued for sexual indiscretion, etc., etc. I had never kept up with what had been *happening*. I never knew pfal had been *scrapped*, and that a new revelation --> had taken it's place. First time I heard the term *fog years* was right here when I found this site from some link somewhere (I think it was from NO WAY OUT), and continued to read all the stuff that I had heard vaguely alluded to, but never *proven*. The personal stories hooked me, and I kept reading. I had known only that "all was not a bed of roses" in twi, but beyond that -- nada, nothing, zilch, zero, zip. To find all this malcontent and open honesty about the *behind the scenes action*, made my day and validated everything I had suspected, but could not prove. Twi is comprised of *technophobes*?? THANK GOD FOR TECHNOPHOBES!! :D--> HEY TWI!!! --- REMEMBER THIS VERSE?? --> "FOR THE THING WHICH I GREATLY FEARED IS COME UPON ME, AND THAT WHICH I WAS AFRAID OF IS COME UNTO ME". Job 3:25
  17. It's all fine and good for them (twi) to mandate this since they bought the farm, and it is paid for. --> Funny how this policy never came into being while *hdqtrs* had a mortgage on the farm, eh? Can't you just see them selling the farm (getting out from under *debt*), and renting some hall in dowtown NK to operate out of? Only in my "cartoon bubble" would that ever happen! :D-->
  18. I just tried to log in, and this is what I got: You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password. I know my user name and I know my password, therefore I can only guess that they have *de-activated* me. --> So long Family Tables -- see ya all at the Bema.
  19. If Flat gets here in the next coupla weeks, he can meet the mushers, and take part in the festivities of the JOHN BEARGREASE SLED DOG MARATHON. A 500 mile sled dog race from Duluth to Grand Portage, and back. Meebe even get his photo taken on a sled.

    John of God

No -- I haven't heard of him before, and I read the link. If this stuff is real - praise God for the delieverance ... yet If he isn't in control, who is? (sorry for the *way-brain* --but it did come to mind.)
  21. And then there is this ---- With all due respect Garth, John S. was talking about stealing from employers, and yes -- he mentioned paper clips -- but he also mentioned using other company property for one's private uses. I happen to agree with him 100% about this, as I see a lot of this going on in my own job site. Some of my co-workers look at anything in the office and say "whatever is here is for me to use". They take everything from stamps, to paper clips, to toilet paper, to internet time, from *the company* for their own use, using the justification that the "company" can afford it, while they feel they cannot afford it for themselves, or should I say -- choose not to. --> Well -- if money were taken from the company -- it would be called stealing. Money was spent on these items (no matter how small, or insignificant) for company use, so indirectly -- money was stolen from the company. To me there is no difference. You see a difference in this?? If you do, I wonder how you can justify it? -->
  22. Hey there Steve. Aren't those two *entities* one and the same thing? Methinks they be. :)--> And if I want to find out what my PARTNERS are teaching, all I have to do is go to TRUTH OR TRADITION, and see the latest articles they have put up for folks to read. Now -- with that being said, I became an accesory (partner - whatever), a while back, simply because I believed in their effort to move the Word, as they saw fit. So the blame for my support, now falls back on me, for believing in what they were/are doing. FYI -- I do not agree with EVERYTHING they teach, nor do I agree (totally) with their method of delivery -- but I look at what I am doing, vs. what they are doing, and concede that they are doing a far better job of promoting Jesus Christ than I ever have, or could hope to do -- thus my support (meager though it is). Perhaps Tzaia could give some enlightenment as to why JAL was forced to abdicate the *presidency* of CES for that year or so. All I am aware of - is something happened, *management* there caught it, and took steps to correct the situation, and he was given LOA. While something remiss had happened, it was obvious that steps were being taken to correct, so as to eradicate the *situation*, and retain the "squeaky clean status" you demand they keep intact. Perhaps someone was *spamming* while on company time. I personally received several e-mails from them (I am an AOL customer), and thought I had received them from CES because I was a *partner*. But to me it was obvious that once Dan G. showed up, this practice stopped. Again -- corrective action was being taken, to eliminate something happening that would degrade them as a ministry. However -- it is going to take more than that and my lack of *input*, to get me to withdraw support. What does bother me, is the way I am hearing that the BIBLICAL UNITARIAN site got *commandeered* (sp?), and taken over. I appreciate Tzaia's input on how that site came to be, and how it was one thing at one time, yet is now something totally different, with different folks running the show, and without her permission -- doing things she never would have done, had she retained site ownership. And I appreciate your questions, etc., as well --- because they make me think, evaluate, and question that which I might not have done otherwise. So --- the long of the short of it is (imho) --- there is nothing wrong with sponsorship, partnership, *tossing a buck or two on the plate to help defray expenses*. It is the reasoning behind doing so, that falls more into question, than the actual practice. God bless. :)--> David
  23. Think about that the next time you shop at Walmart, Target, Sears, Penney's, Barnes and Noble etc,. ad naseum --- especially when you hear the manager request for an associate to help in aisle..... Ask the manager of the store the same question. Is that worker really an associate, or is it a falsely empowering title? -->
