I find it interesting that his last teaching was May 12, 1985, and he died 8 days later, on May 20, 1985. Meebe there is some spiritual (numerical) significance to that as well, eh? ;)-->

Now that is an excellent point, Sky! (Never thought of it that way before!) I posted some anti-trinitarian stuff over on CF, and got an e-mail from one of the moderators with some demands for explanations of what I posted. I told em where I was coming from, where I had been, and instead of deleting my posts, the moderator (a die-hard catholic), said she would be interested in hearing more of my views, and input -- even though she personally did not agree with it. I think the fact that I am polite about my disagreement, and willing to listen to what others say helped -- but the fact remains that they are letting me *do my thing*, and are not exercising their power to delete my posts. :)--> Unfortunately -- The Family Table folks haven't evolved to that level of conversation yet, where it is acceptable to "agree to disagree". :(--> David

Actually -- all those titles had me lmao! :D--> :D-->

Really!? Wow -- that's alright. I figured there had to be payment, and a minimal amount of students before a class could run. Good for you. :)-->

So -- are these held at a church? Or what??

And if you think so, you did well to withdraw your support. -
Thanks, WhiteDove, but I don't want the fight. What I deleted, was better placed in the Politics and Tacks section, rather than here. And what I said has been *hashed and re-hashed* too many times, to be gone over again. :)-->

"Mars Hill" they ain't!!!

The new twi web-site is more restrictive than even CHRISTIAN FORUMS, which has a bunch of moderators on each forum -- ready to axe and delete messages that "offend". At the CF, they have spots for dissension, and discussion about *unorthodox* beliefs and such. Twi could learn from that, but I suppoose they aren't interested in (cough!) freedom.

..... and how much does it cost (these days)?

Steve -- can you manage to do this (successfully) to either your local government, or to the federal government, when you pay taxes each year, paying them to do that which you may or may not have control over? If you can't do it with them, then don't criticize CES, or any other orginazation - using this arguement. At least CES is trying to be responsible -- which I see the local and federal government doing less, and less of -- daily. When you're talking politics -- the option offered is called *the vote*. If you're talking *partnership*, the option offered is withdrawing support. Personally -- I think withdrawing support from a religious group is easier done, than withdrawing support from some governmental agency, but if you can make it *fly* in the governmental circles -- I'll be willing to listen to what you have to say in the religious ones. As Song says --- just a thot. :)--> -
Seems like twi has always had a *gas* problem! :D--> Would Ms Utility be Donna/Rosie?; --> And would Mr. Locater be lcm?? --> The names are appropriate, and the gas continues to *escape*. Ohh -- wait - you're talking about the Gas Company! -->

"We will sink to the depths, or rise to the heights of our believing". "The greatness of the Power For Abundant Living class is not in what I say, but in the greatness behind what I say". Sounds like Mike might of said that one. :D-->

Yes. And those gifts are given to those who can pass them on. :)-->

*edited* woops -- never mind. The logo is there, after all. :)-->

Psalmie -- if you are gonna *kill* any threads, ya better take the cover off of the arrowhead! Good to see you here. ;)--> "The Spirit is singing --- thru wires and wood." John Van Meter

Vickles --- Congrats on reaching 3,000 posts! ;)-->

btw --- I also peeked at the membership list, and yes indeed -- I am no longer there. Galen is the only one left. I didn't see Mike listed there either. ;)--> Woops!!!! I just checked the memberlist again, and you are there Abigail. Congrats (I think). :)--> So much for the *skeleton* theory! :D-->

I also saw that Abi. Good for you for trying to re-register, but I bet they won't accept you. Even though all your posts were most polite, and considerate -- I'm thinking you were un-earthing more *skeletons* than they want to deal with. Even polite exposing is still resulting in being exposed, and I agree with OE that they want no controversy there at all. A shame that the folks still *in* do not know about it, and it (seemingly) is for their use.

He he. Actually -- I like ex70's solution better. If they've made up their mind to hate you (for whatever reason), it would be fruitless to do the *in your face* stuff. Oak, Steve! and Abigail had great points about that too. Guess I'll have to come up with a better reason for a road trip! ;)-->

Hey Mike -- I jut tried to log in again, and got the same response. Guess I am "riff-raff", and worthy of being kept out. Meebe I finally got my *Grease Spot By Midnight* badge of honor!!
