Is beef brisket an option to clam???? Chilly???? 40 to 50 is considered a heat wave here!. But we don't have clams either.

DON'T TELL ME WE DON'T HAVE MONEY FOR FOOD!!

Hey there Robin. I'll disagree with that one, though I do see where you are coming from. :) Mr.P-Mosh (given his situation), makes a valid point. Also --- this is a RECOVERY site. Folks need to be able to ask, question, discuss, etc., without fear of the wayGB. Nothing *cliquish* about that at all, especially if they still have family *in*, and need advice to help them out, eh? Just my imo. :)

I don't do hot tubs.

You naughty boy you!!!! Oak --- congrats. Your observations and comments cut to the chase. There's no one left in twi who could offer a viable answer to your questions. Actually --- I'm wondering if there ever was?? Happy Anniversary!!

If Dooj is there (and she probably will be), it will be neither.

That had some mighty nice harmonies, and good picking too! Thanks! Just heard of this group two days ago. Awesome!

You shoulda had way more guitars by now!!! Congrats on the anniversary. ;)

Did you hear about the psychic evangelist that wanted to start up a broadcast venture? Sadly he couldn't find any investors. No one wants to fund a mentalist preacher.
-
Washn'wear and Rocky ---I should've said something when I first saw this thread but didn't, and I'm remiss for not doing so. Here's hoping the both of you are recuperating quickly, and successfully. I've got you both in my prayers. :)

Ahem!!!!!! Just One More Reason --- to get a Mac. ;)

Cool Beans. Whatever you (or someone else did), worked.

I don't care about Craig, or VP, or Howard, but in Craig's case----- I might send a REALLY HEAVY box via UPS, and hope he doesn't have a forklift operator's license.

Mstar --- that was one of the MOST compelling tunes I've heard in a coon's age. Who did it?? Do you know? I was absolutely captivated by it. Am working it out on mando, fiddle, organ and piano. Good Gawd that's a haunting tune!! I closed my eyes listening to it, so the video became a moot point. The music was the best part. So well executed. I didn't understand a word, but the music spoke for itself. Where did you find this???

They charged admission fees??? I just went and walked in. Never paid a dime to go there, except for gasoline.

Ya know what -- I agree with you. It's a pretty fugged up system of getting news (these days), where whatever might be popular with the networks is the ONLY thing, or ONLY viewpoint being showed. I have NO love for Fox network. Same as CNN and MSNBC. They are all B!tches in someone's stable being used and abused, to our detriment.

This is from my brother, retired military (Air Force), sent to me today: I couldn't verify this, but I bet it's accurate. E.: Attached are pictures of what is reputedly the 'largest re-enlistment ceremony ever held in military history.' The ceremony was held July 4, 2008 at Al Faw Palace, Baghdad, Iraq. General Petraeus officiated. A pizzeria in Chicago donated 2000 pizzas that were made just prior, shipped to arrive in Baghdad on the 3rd and were provided to the enlistees on the 4th. The main stream media did cover the gift of 2000 pizzas to soldiers in Iraq. But they failed to report on the cause for this gift -- it didn't fit the MSM’s portrayal of the “hollow force, poor morale,” etc. This is a sterling example of how they highlight their intellectual deceit daily. This enormous re-enlistment occurred on 4 July in Baghdad – there were approximately 1200 total REUPs. For those who have been in the Al Faw Palace, you'll have a better estimation of the number of people crammed in the rotunda. Below are pictures of the reenlistment ceremony. It echoes that all of the young men and women in these photos know that what they are doing is imperative to regional and world peace, and they want to continue to be part of it. Somehow this did not make it to network/cable news broadcasts.

Oh --- Wait a minute. Perhaps you don't want 30,000 banjo pickers perusing your article. Mea Culpa. I should have asked first, eh? :( :( :D
-
Raf --- I just linked your story to a banjo site (with 30,000 members) and the thread going on there about Fay. Your readership just improved considerably. ;)

Watered Garden --- Yes they did say he had ADHD. I'm no doctor, or medical professional by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm of the opinion that boys will be boys. When I used to play square dances for kids in grade school as a part of a community education thing I did, we'd say something like: "OK Everybody! --- Let's form a line right up and down the floor here. We need the boys on one side, and girls on the other." Every last boy would RUN to get in line. Not a one of them would walk. Hyper-active?? I don't think so. Just being natural. I (personally) think it's a skewed system (these days) that's decided somehow that this kind of activity is *unacceptable behavior*, and they want to tame it by using drugs. I won't go so far as to link it to a conspiracy theory about liberals trying to *feminize* the young males of today, but that is a thought that's crossed my mind from time to time. I agree with Mr. P-Mosh about the diet thing and where he said that ADHD can be mis-diagnosed. Personally -- I also am loath to see drugs used when a natural diet (or other methods) can be used instead. And I also dislike seeing it used on youth who are just being themselves and will OBVIOUSLY be more energetic and physically active than the folks who want to drug them.
