George -- What Pillai Orientalism tapes?!?!?!?. There is only one set I am aware of (it was a set of 4 reel-to-reel tapes) that our branch had back in 1974, and were the basis for the *blue book* transcriptions that Bo did, and that (from what I hear) only about 100 copies were published. I tried to track down the tape library (thinking it may still be in Indiana) when I was there last, but it disappeared. Got hold of Bo, but he has no clue as to where the tapes are, nor does he have a copy of all the transcripts he wrote. :(--> Have you got a different set, or the same ones?? (inquiring minds want to know!!) :)--> David

Wayfer -- looks like yer still stuck in *cult-world* :D--> According to this, using the *twi math* you are "one zero". :(--> I agree with YOU -- Just say NO to cults!

Waterbuffalo -- WOW! Powerful post! Great examples of how going our own way ends up troublesome, but going God's way reaps benefits. It is hard to know *when to quit* a calling, job, ministry, etc., but the article offered some pretty solid biblical evidence/examples of how the two paths lead to different results. I'm seeing that this means that it is incumbent for us to know when God is speaking to us, so that we can choose the CORRECT one of those two paths. :)-->

#5 here. I don't think their definition of nonconformist is real accurate, but I'll go along with it. The one that fits me best is: number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9. :D-->

4 *believers* + 1 car + 250 mile radius = 1 weekly (required) road trip.

Well -- he is in San Quentin now. 643 others there waiting for the same penalty, at taxpayer expense, and *justice* not being carried out.

Hey there Daryl -- miss seeing you in chat. :(--> Your quote from above makes it sound like you are running for orific -- err, ahem, (cough), office :D--> Any political asperations in yer future??

He did it!! Raf actually did it! Raf -- saying the words pineapple-free pizza implies that pizza can have pineapple on it. (Someone call Ripley's Believe It or Not) :D-->

Flat is fine. He went to work with me and learned about some of the meds the guys are taking; He's shown an aptitude for picking flat top guitar, while I do the banjo picking; (We are considering starting a bluegrass group calles Flat and Scrubs :D--> We're having a bit of trouble picking out a suitable card to send to the school. There's not a lot of good ones out there. :(--> He is tired of our cold up here, and wants to move on to warmer climes. I think he will be leaving here soon, and headed for nicer weather (hopefully) at Radar's house.

That's easy enough to answer. Someone wearing bell-bottoms, and a tie-dyed t-shirt, doing laundary. :D--> Or cleaning house here at GS!

Me too. At least at the time. I've been pretty much *insulated* from the crud spewed out down there, amd to see it first hand -- with no recognition of my (what I thought was an acceptable) excuse for wanting to go in to see the *show*, was something I hadn't ever run across before. :(--> But I got over it quick. :D-->

Ha -- :)--> about 900 miles of road trip (one way). ;)--> No there was no seat for me, cuz I wasn't there at the *right time or place*. Btw -- that was my first real confrontaion with corps who were following *orders*. Like I've said before -- I am far from hdqtrs, and the teachings had a little less *venom* the further north they got. It was an eye-opener to me, for sure. :(-->

Heeeeee!!! Do they still make Jolt Cola?? --> I remember their slogan from back in the mid -1980's : ALL THE SUGAR, AND TWICE THE CAFFENINE." Are ya drinking something besides that, Raf?? ;)--> If you are -- pass it on over, I want some too! :D--> And also -- if Steve! were God, his *sent Son* would be Flat Stanley, Ambassador to the world!!.

Ps -- I was so ....ed at the guy who wouldn't let me in, I decided then and there that it was not worth my while to either visit the auditorium, or see AOS. I was already *one foot out the door* by then, and had gone to ROA '85 only because of the memorial being done for docvic. Close to 900 miles from here. Shoulda saved the gas money for something more *profitable*. :D-->
