Reading Geo's story, reminds me of how me and a few others helped give someone else, a "most embarrassing moment". I used to pick banjo and mandolin for a Bluegrass band, called the Elbo Grease Band, and our fiddle picker (Ken) was getting married -- so we threw him a bachelor party. Ken (and two of the other band members), were members of the Air National Guard, stationed here in Duluth, and Dave (the bass picker) did some work in a veterinary office. We started Ken in on the whiskey, tequila, and beer about 10:00 AM, just to help him "celebrate", don't cha know! He drank more than enough, passed out about 2 or 3 PM, and while he was sleeping -- Dave got out some stuff they used in the vet office for casts on animals, and went to work. He made it quick drying, and before applying the plaster, he was considerate enough to position Ken's right arm in the *appropriate* position to hold his *unit* while he peed, and his left arm in the correct position to hold a beer. :D--> Then we dressed him in skunk pelt shorts (nothing else, except for shoes), and waited for him to wake up, so we could take him to the party. He didn't wake up in time, so we loaded him into Dave's van, took him to the party, where he finally came to -- and we told him he had broken his arms in a fall, thus the casts on each arm. He almost believed us, but then saw he wasn't wearing much, and realized he felt no pain, so he started hitting everything in site, trying to break those casts -- all the while yelling for his clothes, and drinking more beer. We were in a private room, at a public place, and suddenly -- Ken runs out of the room, right into some big conference being held several doors down --wearing nothing but the skunk pelt shorts, shoes, and two casts on his arms that he hadn't quite broken through yet. :D--> They shoulda kicked us outta there, but management was laughing too hard to say anything, as were all the conference folks.

They must hold a "tail-gate" party before the service in the parking lot, eh Sudo? ;)--> Sounds like my kinda church. :D--> "sloshed with the spirits", rather than "slain" by them. (Ps -- COFFEE and CAFFEINE both start with "C". Ya just cain't have the first, without the second.) And -- de*calf*inated is when a cow has an abortion, nothing else. :P-->

Yes sir. :)--> Truth is always truth (just as error is always error), regardless of who is doing the speaking. I don't know if I would call it *the moral of the story*, but if that works, so be it.

To get back to the Pope -- Ex10 said it best! :)--> I don't think he should even be mentioned with WTO, WTC, or even WTF. He was a good man, and really did represent the *best* of what mankind can be. He happened to be a solid rock, that a lot of folks found,and admired, while shuffling through the shifting sands of life. May he R.I.P. . . .

I find it hard to believe that a mother would not immediately be there for her son, yet given the *road-block* of twi, I guess I can understand, and feel the "helplessness" you must have felt. They run an effective *machine*, that systematically ruins, disrupts, and stifles normalcy in families -- but I guess I ain't telling you a thing here, am I? --> Good Lord -- if I lost a finger like that, my fiddle picking would suck even more than it already does. :D--> Praying for your recovery, without all the *pious platitudes* about believing, and all that crap. :)--> David

A) I believe that Jesus had a one year ministry; B) I believe He did not have the spirit on Himself (like John did) at birth; C) I believe That He was flesh and blood, like you and I; D) What was the question?? I'll give it a stab, from my humble perspective. JC (Yeshua) was the only human being (other than Adam) to have God as a literal Father, unlike you or I. I still believe in the *perfect blood* that coursed through the veins of Jesus (from day *whatever* of his conception/birth), and that makes all the difference in the world to me. Adam was *born* with spirit, and lost it, but he was born with uncontaminated blood as well. Jesus was the only one (as far as I know) who was born with uncontaminated blood as well, so that certainly qualifies Him as the 2nd Adam. Adam's disobedience lost him the spirit. Jesus' obedience gained Him that spirit. Both had God as a literal Father, and both had the *sinless* blood running through their veins. Perfect man was what God created, yet perfect man, was not all it was cracked up to be. Does that make God a loser for creating a *perfect imperfection*? NO. Free will enters into the picture, and both Adam, and Jesus had it. One chose wisely, and one chose poorly. It really is as simple as that. Check your premises -- they need a *looking over*. :)-->

Shellon -- I forgot to say congratulations to the new parents, Sam and Charlie. :(--> So glad to hear all went well (even with the aspiration, and *other icky* stuff), and that Kailyn is in a loving family, and *protected envirionment*. Kelly is a trooper!! God bless her! We need more folks like her. (Where was she when lcm was ranting and raving, and making folks cry??) :D--> :D--> Again -- congratulations to all y'all.

Ex10 -- boy isn't that the truth. --> We got sidetracked in life by a cult, that propounded a few good things, some other not so good things, and now we manage to judge the entirety of our live's (afterwards) by what we learned while we were *in*. That doesn't "compute" in my two-bit brain, although I agree with what you are saying. We were brain-washed into thinking a certain way, and now seem to think (and judge these matters), based only on the circumstances that were the *factor* for brainwashing us in the first place. The valid biblical occurances of such things are just that -- valid. It is a crying shame that we still look at the valid, though the eyeshade of the ludicrious, and try to make a competent evaluation, based on what we have learned, from the ludicrous, about the valid. :(-->

Ahhh -- Now I see what you mean. I agree with that, and looking over my involvement, I guess I thought the same way. Belle said that there were *happy up-beat people*, which I also met, but I equated that to them having the *positives* of the Word. Like I say -- I think the one fed off of the other. I guess I did start exiting when the fellowship was not so nice anymore, more than anything else. But that could have been due to the control tactics, and the lack of good teaching too. I don't know. Catch 22 situation here. Regardless, the *happy up-beat* people, became *miserable beat-up* people, and when that happened, I moved on.
