I know some good Catholics (shoot -- I used to be one). Whenever I put my buck or two into the collection plate, I was supporting the local church and not Rome, as most practicing Catholics are today. However in twi I was supporting *Rome*, and not the *local church*. Pedophilia is not the main purpose of the RCC (though it's happened), but mind control certainly IS the main purpose of twi. Which would you call the worse of these two *denominations*?? --> Everyone (past and present) who has done their abs properly (or improperly), can be considered a contributer to mind control, since that is/was/and always shall be the goal of twi, despite the occasional good that leaks out of their outfit because of the Grace of God. Knowingly giving to the Roman Catholic Church in no way endorses the actions of the *miscreant crowd* amongst them, because it is not something that is mainstream, even though *--it* Happens. As far as that other *denomination* -- not only is "Giving Equals Receiving" (or has that changed with the *New Prevailing Truth*? -- gag me with a spoon, or some other blunt object), but the *giving* there goes straight to the top, and rarely finds it's way back down. Oh wait -- *wayfers* are like mushrooms -- Kept in the dark, and fed bs. They don't know. Neither did I. But when in the Catholic church, I knew my *abs* there wasn't gonna travel all the way to *Rome*, but I bet they still had the forms to fill out! I think that my decade plus, of abs to twi did more damage than anything I ever contributed to the Roman Catholic Church -- when I was *in* there. :)-->

This is starting to get really good. Ahemmmmm ! (cough!) Where does it say RAIN-bow? --> Sure -- it stopped raining - but asumption prevails from there on that the bow mentioned was a rainbow. Does God need a reminder every day it rains, about His covenant with all flesh?? No -- not hardly. The word bow is *qesheth*, and means a bow as in bending (as in for shooting, or strength). Go to Zechariah 10:4 - The corner stone, the tent peg, the battle bow -- all speaking of one entity -- anyone else remember who the *cornerstone* is? ;)--> And if I *recollect correct* that it is called *parallalism* that identifies one subject, with different entities or qualities of that same subject involved. If you figure out what one of the meanings refers to, and you have the definition of the others. Isaiah 28:16 gives a definition of the *cornerstone*, and it is obviously a foretelling of Jesus. If He is the corner stone -- he is also the tent-peg, and the bow. Now -- let's re-read the verse --- First time the flood happened, all was evil, and the clouds certainly did appear, and prevail, and no "bow". While we are at it -- let's go to Matthew 24:30, for another look --- What might that sign be, eh? A pretty rainbow, for all to admire? No. It says the nations will mourn, when they see it. The sign of the Son of Man will be the *bow* that protects the righteous. Way I see it -- one of these days (God only knows when) -- this earth will be deemed *unfit* for habitation, and clouds will roll in like they did in the days of Noah, but unlike then, there will be *the Bow* intervening, doing whatever it takes to protect, and defend. and as the country song says --- That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! :D-->

Oak -- page 1878 (2John in the Bullinger bible), and in the side notes E.W. refers you to Ap. 98 IX (page 143 of the appendix section). Maybe I misread the appendix, but that is what it looked like to me.

Yes, and it also qualifies a mental abuse. It is by His grace alone, that any of us are alive - whether *in*, or *out*. Perhaps he has never heard the term "actions speak louder than words"? Or the other way of saying it -- "You're actions are so loud, I can't hear what you are saying"? He seems to hear twi words pretty well, but does he see the actions of others -- or the actions of twi (for that matter)?

According to Bullinger, the first word "Christ should be translated "Messiah", and the second use of *of Christ* should be ommited. Looking at the first few verses before number 9, the context (to me) seems to be Love, but then verse 10 turns around and basically seems to say the opposite of "love your enemy". Go figure. --> I would say that overall, Christ's doctrine can be boiled down to the two great commandments: Love God and then love others.
