Too bad the WayGB has to work on week-ends, just to accomodate the likes of us! :D--> David

Well -- I guess the other day it was a computer *glich* that was the cause of my not getting into the site, because yesterday I got in fine. HOWEVER --- TODAYYYYYYYYY -- I got this, when I went there: David

Hey there George. :)--> You said: I used to work at a state forest, back in Indiana. Someone *promoted* this idea of dowsing, water-witching -- whatever it is called, and just on a lark -- me and a couple of others tried it. Well (woops -- no pun intended there!) :D--> it worked for all of us. The person promoting what we were doing, maintained that we needed a certain kind of wood, yada, yada, yada and all that other glorious *stuff*. I don't know how it worked (scientifically - or otherwise), but worked it did. I'm with you on this one. It left me scratching my head, and thinking --- "hmmmmmm". I never acknowledged the validity of such, until it happened to me and my co-workers. And while I could accuse my co-workers of *faking it*, when that stick pointed to the ground (for me), and water was found -- I knew I was not faking it. Meebe there is something to be said for the *powers of nature*. I don't know.

Well --- I'm not a dad, but I sure plan on calling mine to thank him for all he has done for me. :)-->

I bet he didn't leave the bill for your restoration in the wall!! :D-->

Belle -- (from where I come from) a dowser is someone who can *witch water* with a forked stick.

Hey!!! Those bozo's have me older than I really am -- the jerks! According to them, I would qualify for retirement now. I'm thinking they are thinking of someone else.

Justwannabeme -- perhaps I was a bit presumptuous in saying *free*. I do know of a person who is with a group that has all the class materials, and they *give them away*, asking only that one covers the cost of the blank tapes (discs - whatever) and pay the shipping for them. I haven't spoken with this person for a while, so I do not know if this is still *available* from that group. I recently found out about some folks here in Minnesota who run pfal on a regular basis -- and they (from what I understand) are willing to give out copies to those who are willing to run the class in their area. Regardless -- there is no where near the $150.00 *requested donation* mentioned earlier. :)--> David

Has anyone noticed (during all of this *brou-ha-ha* over Mike's ideas, pfal *doctrine*, and perverted videos shown long ago) ---- that the intial link http://p211.ezboard.com/bpowerforabundantliving (originally posted by Belle) is now not accessible?? --> At least I can't get into it today, and I could yesterday. I tried several methods of accessing it, and all I got was *error - page not found*, or *error - page does not exist*. Makes ya wanna go hmmmmmmm. David

Really??? I know of one location, where they are available for free. Makes me wonder what this *Belizean* group is all about. Prophet, or profit?

Mike --- check your pt's please. ;)-->

Hope you had a happy one!! David

Belle -- shame on you. Any gentleman from the south always refers to women as *ma'am*, as a title of respect. You should know that. The only other title I have heard men address women by is *little lady*. Which would you rather be addresed as??? :D-->

I think I've heard about this guy. Isn't he the one who tried to jump over a sleeping lion, while carrying sea gulls to feed to porpoises that could live forever?? --> If I remember right -- he narrowly escaped multiple charges of: Transporting gulls over a staid lion, for immortal porpoises. :D-->

And by the way -- Hey there 2beenthere2! Welcome. :)--> David

Groucho -- Karl Kahler wrote that book. :)--> And though I have never seen aos (as a *live* presentation), I have seen segments of tapes of it, and I agree with you about the "lucridity" (is that a real word??) of it all -- both spiritually, as well as otherwise! David

PFAL online!! Who'd a'thunk it! ;)-->

Mike -- hey there. --> THIS IS THE ODDLIST Jim Martin is the one who runs this site. David

I ain't a'gonna rehash old arguements about what is decent. --> In response to the title of this thread -- I did see this story mentioned on CNN this evening, and likewise heard it on the radio (forget which network right now -- I think it was ABC), as I was driving in to work today.

What!? There's another rug-muncher out there?!?!? :D-->

Belle -- It is by Albert Haas, and can also be found at: AMAZON.COM. :)--> David

As the link suggests -- "ALL THINGS CONSIDERED" -- they are a bad idea, indeed. David

PBS is a parasitic leech on the monies of the U.S. taxpayer. :(--> I don't pretend to know if any one of their *airings* is from da debul, or not -- but I do know that back in 1998 -- they lobbied congress very heavily to get the salary cap of $148,000 lifted from their executives. Seems they weren't happy with that *paltry amount*, and felt *entitled* to have more given to them via the U.S. taxpayer money. Fer instance -- Jim Lerher (I think that is how you spell his name), is not funded at all by PBS -- but rather by private corporations. PBS doesn't need to pay him at all, since his salary is already looked after. PBS is on the *welfare line* -- looking for any and ever handout they can grab onto. Shoot -- just watch "THIS OLD HOUSE", and see how many corporate sponsors are willing to give money to that show alone. Why they keep coming to the American Public for their annual *fund-raisers* is beyond me -- since they are getting most of their funding from congress anyway. Here -- let me give you a link --- PBS FUNDING. And this was back in 1998. Why do I doubt the situation has gotten *better* --> David

Make sure you give her the one about 50 feet outside in the back yard (you know -- that little wooden structure with the half-moon cut in the door, with the coffee can over the toilet paper). :D--> :D--> As for non-profits -- Chas is pretty much correct. A lot of their funding (at least up here) comes from whatever the state has available, and that doesn't lead to huge salaries. My company may or may not give us a raise (which happens once a year), depending on the finances of the great state of Minney-soda. We got a raise last year (miniscual), and this year we may not get one at all. :(--> On the brighter side of non-profits, if you can write grants, and such -- you would be a person of more interest, and the salary for that line of work pays a lot better. And that is a 9 - 5 job as well, with no nights or weekends. Good luck in your search!! David
