Sudo you have kids, right? Did you ever see them struggling with homework and want to help (knowing what they needed to know), but held back until they asked for the help? Same thing. :)--> David

Hey there Robes, welcome to Greasespot.

and PS -- lest you all think I am ticked off at the person answering the phone, I'm not. They were just following orders. Of that I am convinced. David

I called them (from the number they have printed on one of their magazines), out of curiosity several months ago to see what they had going on (if anything) here in Minney-soda. They asked my name, and once I gave it (I didn't care if they knew who I was), they had my whole twi history in front of them on the computer screen there. They had the (cough!) decency to say they would contact local leadership, and that they (the locals) would get hold of me. --> The jerks at hdqtrs wouldn't even give me a name or a phone number here. They talked to me, but offered no information. To them I was Joe Blow from Timbuktu, since I am not *active*. I did get a call from the *first lady of the way of Minney-soda*, (sugar-sweet southern voice that reminded me a h e l l of a lot of *rug-muncher* RR), wanting to know if I was interested in fellowship, again. I never called back. P*ssed me off they did not have the decency to at least let me make the contact, and ask my questions. Those bozos will never change. Talk to 'em all you want, all they will offer you is a front. Truth is not something they are comfortable with, or deal with at all. Hypocrisy, lies, and deceit are more their style. David

Allan --- ROFL!!! :D--> :D--> :D--> You look a whole lot better than a tin of Kiwi shoe polish!! Does one have to be spiritually *mature* to know the difference? --> ;)--> David

Bliss -- Hey there, and welcome to Greasespot! Your husband sounds like a great guy. I'll be praying for the both of you to make the right decision, and at the right time. There is a big, bright, beautiful world out here. I understand the apprehension he is going through, and the fact that you two are talking about it speaks volumes. The advice given here has been stellar, so please pay attention to what everyone has said. Everyone's exit from twi differs. For some (like me) it was easy. For some (like you and others with family still *in*), it can be difficult, and heart-wrenching. But the bottom line is --- Ya gotta do, what ya gotta do. Here are two other websites that tell more about the atrocities of twi, in case you did not know of them. EX-CULT WORLD and, WAY CHRIST. God bless, and good luck. We are all in your corner!! :)--> David

LMAO!!! :D--> :D--> :D-->

Yes he did, and that is the big difference between him, and these modern day outfits (twi included). George Mueller belived in God's ability to do, and everyone else seems to believe in *their ability to do*. You go to the source for your support, and if ya go to the source of humanity, you will end up begging forever for them to give. If you don't go to the Father, it's like a, it's like a, it's like ---- hmmm -- why am I thinking of *broken cisterns* all of a sudden?? --> :D--> David

Sounds like Chris is a somebody!! Hope to meet him soon. :)-->

Thanks to all for the kind wishes. I surely didn't mean to derail this here, but only wanted to say that I have said things in haste, and found them *moderated* soon after. and yea -- when it happened, I felt like I was sent to the principal's office too. But it's something that one can *get over*. :)-->

To which I say "Amen". David

GOOD FOR THEM!!!!!! :D--> David

Hmmm -- I bet he'll conviniently forget that piece of advice! :D--> Tell him to do us (read U.S.), and himself proud.

Why shouldn't I just go to "twig" (or whatever they are calling it now...)

BINNNGGGGG---GO!!! Ya hit the nail on the head Mr. H. -
That guy must have a twin brother up here in Minney-soda. A man was pulled over by the cops for some minor traffic violaton, and when asked for his driver's license, he said (quote): "Sorry officer, I can't reach it, or give it to you, unless you hold my beer for me." -->

and btw --- Happy birthday!! (you youngster, you!) :)--> David

Sounds like a great way to end any day!! ;)--> Did ya wear any of your hats during class? --> :D--> :D-->

My favourite *breakfast* (usually eaten at 2 AM after me and the gang got done picking for the night), has always been the Garbage Omelet. Ya need a dozen eggs, onion, green pepper, tomato, ham cubes, sausage, cheese, tabasco sauce, and hash browns. Saute the veggies, cook up the hash browns, then toss it all inside the omelet, with liberal doses of the tabasco sauce. Granted -- we got ours from a restaurant (at that hour), but I've done the same here at the house occassionally. Everything is inside the omelet, and if you make it right, it should be overhanging a regular size dinner plate, by an inch or two on BOTH sides of the plate! And don't forget the coffee! ;)-->

McCormicks Creek Southern Indiana is a great place too. :)-->

Cindy! -- Ha! It was the dijon egg recipe that really caught my eye. ;)-->

coolchef --- Almost thou persuadeth me to eat breakfast, instead of drinking coffee only! :D-->
