I JUST SAW A COMMERCIAL FOR THE WAY INTERNATIONAL ON MSNBC!!
dmiller replied to RottieGrrrl's topic in About The Way
$29,000 bucks of the believer's money was spent (not to bless the body, or further *research*, or anything profitable), but rather to further the interests of the insidious venus fly-trap that thrives in New Knoxville. It *cost* them 29 grand to extend their offer of "Yer always welcome at the way" over the airwaves. David -
I JUST SAW A COMMERCIAL FOR THE WAY INTERNATIONAL ON MSNBC!!

justwannabeme -- the following is a quote from page 3 of this thread from a year and a half ago. :)--> David -
If the location can be driven to, I may be up for it. If ya have to back-pack to get there, it's unthinkable. I can deal with no computer, no indoor plumbing, the smell of diesel fuel, and bodily odors from lack of showers, but it will take a lot of convincing for me to agree to *fire-brewed* coffee! :D-->

Jardinero --- hey, hey, HEY!!! Be nice now, hear?? :D--> :P--> :D--> David :)-->
-
CoolWaters -- with your gift for logos and graphics, meebe you could do something with: V M W TOWING "WE COME HIGHLY "WRECK-O-MENDED". Just a thot! ;)--> David
-
See ya's!! You'll be missed. :(--> I remember when Steve! took the time to walk myself, and a bunch of others here through the MOTAS GAME. He was playing along too, but he figured out the escape from the rooms faster than we did, and kept giving timely hints! Good luck in ALL of your endeavours. :)--> David

Where does LCM send his own abundant sharing?
dmiller replied to GrouchoMarxJr's topic in About The Way
:D--> (perhaps the *truth* has (cough!) changed for the new administration he is in). --> -
Shoot -- I actually like that piano version!! Ignore the words, and it would make great background music in some bar somewhere! :D-->
-
I hear ya, even though we don't have anywhere near the traffic you do. :(--> Up here in the People's Republic of Duluth one gets much the same treatment --- despite all the socially-conscious, politically-correct, work-for-justice advocates that we have living here. Put a real life need in front of their face (instead of a cause), and they will ignore you as quickly as the next person. Seems like it is just as important to get home quickly (these days). --> However -- in *greater minnesota* (ie - rural) -- folks treat people like folks, and not like some bug that crawled out from under a rock. Must be the *big city* influence, eh?
-
Ted -- God bless, and thanks for your generous offer! :)--> I sent my snail-mail addy -- same as when you sent out the "One More Time" cd. Praying for your mom. Good to hear that she's doing well at that age! Take care, and keep on pickin! David

Besides -- I never said tree!! I said bushes! YA GOTTA READ WHAT IS WRITTEN (class)!!! :P--> :P--> :P-->
-
Electricity (or rather the lack thereof) was being discussed. currant bushs --- electical current --- get it now?? ;)-->
-
"is that a peeing tree?"; one that happens to be there all the time?; shifts direction of the water in a stream?
-
What? No *currant* bushes nearby?? :D-->

Contemporary Christian Praise Music
dmiller replied to Thomas Loy Bumgarner's topic in About The Way
Early Petra had some good stuff, but I don't know that you could call it all praise music. Some of it was, but was mostly rock and roll. They've changed over the years, and now they seem more like a praise band (to me) than before. -
What's the occassion? Just a camping trip?
-
Wow!! Good for him!! (Sooooo much different than my actions at age 16!) -->
-
All right! Good for him (and you). It's a shame that a chaperone is needed for the chaperones. -->
-
One couple here in town had an old church they lived in, and the branch always went there for a party on New Year's eve. The only ones who slept over, were the ones who celebrated a bit too heartily. :D-->
-
HA! I hear you on that one!! Seems twi couldn't get anything right.
-
Past, present, and to come (for pure bluegrass enjoyment) --- Check out Doyle Lawson and QuickSilver. :)--> David
-
So --- I checked mine, and there was nothing new. and I hate to quote the Budweiser commercial, but I gotta say: Whazzzz ---up?? --> David.

He was a little too *left* for me as well, but there is a family that's hurting, cause now they have one less member, and that is where my thoughts are. David
