Like Steven Wright says --- "24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case -- makes sense to me."

And Rascal -- there ain't a thing wrong with that!!! I choose to go the opposite way -- but that is my choice, and it works for me, while the path you have chosen works for you! :)--> (Which one do you want to drive?? The porsche, or the truck?) :D--> David

Now that I sorted your post out into read-able fashion, I saw this: Well -- I dunno, but will not discount the fact that they could have. After all -- docvic took everything he could from other biblical authors, so I wouldn't put it past him to do the same in other areas of life. But as usual -- that's just my *imho*. David

THERE -- PARAGRAPHS LIKE THIS HELP OUT IMMENSELY!! :D--> David

All this other rhetoric aside --- one thing I do believe in is: PARAGRAPHS!!! Please utilize them ChainClanker --- It will make your posts much easier to read. As it is -- no matter what you say is a chore to look at, and hard to decipher. Thanks for your kind consideration in future posts. :)--> David

Sounds like the Swiss rail pass was the better choice! ;)-->

:D--> :D--> The Dalai Lama shows up in Bloomington Indiana occasionally, and he was there once when I was home visiting the folks. I didn't care to hear him, but the newspaper there had a bunch of quotes from his *speech* afterwards. The only quote from him that I can remember is: "A bowl is only useful if it is empty." --> --> --> Does that mean when it is filled, it's usefulness is negated? Needless to say -- I figured I didn't miss much. David

Wayfer Not! --- I hear that. :)--> I don't attend church these days, but once was a time I did and the ones I went to had the praise and worship. At first I was put off by it, but being the good *guest* that I was -- I didn't mind. After all it was their thing, not mine. However after I went a couple of times, I remembered the thing docvic talked about (being a *fan*atic), and realized they were doing something he espoused, but never did practice. And then I began to see it in a different light. You're right -- it opens up an entirely *new* avenue for communication, one that was closed to us back in twi. And even though I don't get into it like others do, it does make an excellent setting for my personal interaction with God and Jesus. David

(I received) ---------- Recriminations; (I retained) ----------- Rejection (I released) ---------- Regurgitation. Hmmmm -- would that be the three *R's* of Receive, Retain, Release??? Something went wrong, but -- we followed the three *r's* (to our own liking). :D--> (leastways I did) How are ya doing twi?? Are the three *R's* now "Rosalie's Righteous Revelations"? or do ya even teach that anymore? --> David

ps. --- I guess the moral of this story is: "If you go to Vegas, don't drink the water!"

Fleecing the Flock: (sung to the tune of Standing on the Promises) 1.) Pulling the wool over believer eyes; Gotta get it done before they realize; Everything we taught, was a pack lies; While we're fleecing the flock of God. chorus: Fleeee-cing, fleeee-cing; Fleecing the flock for all their money; Fleeee-cinnnnggg, fleeeeeeeeee-ciiiiiiiiiing; We're fleecing the flock of God. 2.) We don't care if you think that we're wrong; Money in our pockets sings a happy song; We're inviting everyone to come along; While we fleece the flock of God. chorus 3.) Once we were big, but now we're small; Now our numbers barely fill a Kingdom Hall; But for us the good news is -- overall; We can still fleece the flock of God. chorus 4.) Rosie now has three *VP's* A *W* added to it is all they need; Who will be the *W*inner when she's deceased; To continue the fleecing of the flock. chorus David

George --- huhnn!!! That's a new way to look at it! Wonder how long it took them to come up with that poor excuse, to explain their lack of growth. Ya gotta love it (or not). Of course now -- abs will have to rise higher by a few percentage points so that the *upper crust* can continue to live the lifestyle to which they have been accustomed. David

Bliss --- a few extra *rubber stamps* for the bod and their decisions maybe?? --> David

I gotta go hmmmmmmmmm. I never said that. Or did you put what you wanted to say, in place of what I said about CG, and his teaching about walking on puddles?? If that is what happened -- I forgive you. :)--> David

Way GB --- too little, and too late. *out of their league* is somthing that comes to mind. twi is not a *precious jewel* worthy of defending. So many lies. So much deceit. So many bones in a *whited sepulchure*. Here's looking back at'cha Way GB. What's in your closet??? Eh?? David

Wait a minute -- I voted *not that special*. Although twi was an *entrance gate* (if you will) to the learnings/teachings gleaned by others.

Did someone mention walking on water? --> ;)--> I do it all the time (especially when it is frozen, and goes by the name of ice)! Of course you have to wait until it is winter, but ice is still water, and easier to walk on than water in the summer. :D--> I never did master walking on *puddles* first (like CG from Gartmoor suggested back in the mid 80's) as a way of learning to walk on a larger *liquid* body of water though. Now I forget how I voted -- but it had to do with one of the latter two choices.
