Perhaps some of the monies gathered through ABS WERE used out *in the field*. Perhaps. For what it's worth, I did the ABS route while in also. But I ran into trouble from the org for the way I did it. Seems ALL MY ABS HAD to go to Hdqtrs., where they would decide what to do with it. I didn't see it that way. After all it was my money, I was *freely giving*, and I chose where it went. I helped sponsor a couple of different folks though the corp and I counted that as ABS. It was giving, right? It was helping to "further the Word" by the *teaching and training* others enjoyed, right?? You'd think so. But twi didn't. Not noway, nohow, not ever. They were p!$$ed (royally) that I would count sponsorship as ABS. I was told in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that my giving HAD to go to Hdqtrs. if it "was going to count". I told them that I figured out my ABS% I wanted to give, did the sponsorship first, and then Hdqtrs got the rest. Who the-hell-is/was-the-judge-of-what-"counts"?????????????? God judges hearts, NOT men. I never saw them helping out *the family* with the monies they garnered. Perhaps they did, but give me something to work with besides wallpaper or re-modeling for a way home, eh????? I don't know what they did with the money I contributed over the 10 years (or so) I was in, but that alone could have put someone through the corps with no questions asked, as one example. There's a black hole in New Knoxville Ohio. And (imo) they want to suck everything they can into it. Even *giving* (sponsoring future *robots for twi*) wasn't acceptable. They want to see the cash. "It's the CASH, ALL the Cash, and NOTHING BUT THE CASH!" <<< ----- (Literal according to usage).

Hey there Mo --- sounds tedious!!!!!! :unsure: How long does that take to do, and how big is the throw once your done?? My ex used to knit, weave, spin, all that stuff. Like I said --- tedious! ;) But at least you had a finished product once you were done. :)

Karl is looking to promote a book, if this is the best he can come up with. If he wants to comment on life at Hdqtrs, go for it. He is probably qualified to speak about that. Maybe HE made up SIT while in twi, but don't lay that POS *generalization* on MY doorstep. I spoke in tongues long before being associated with docvic and twi. With no *class* instructing me how. And no --- it wasn't then, it isn't now, nor will it ever be *made up*.

I agree. Something is terribly wrong. For whatever reason --------- These companies drove themselves into a mud hole, and got mired. Let the jerks that run these companies HOOK THEIR OWN TRUCK UP TO THEIR INSTITUTION; and pull it out of the mess they got themselves into. I've got a truck, but I'm NOT willing to help.

What happened to the *Speaking in Tongues* part of this quote?? It disappeared. Gone. Poof. SIT doesn't lead to that at all (IMO), but it was part of the original post. John --- twi taught dissociation, promoted it, sold it, and encouraged frequent participation in it. It was bundled up (quite completely) in a class called PFAL. 12 sessions. 3 weeks long. 4 nights per week. Be there, or be square. Renew your mind to *the word*. Brainwashing with screaming bubbles. The more often you attended, the further ingrained you got. And after that *class*, there were other classes to keep the mind numbed and *blissing out* for the Lord. Once I left the org, I experienced NONE of the symptoms you mentioned. While *in* ---- I experienced dissociation all the time. Not so these days, nor since I got *out*. :)

Mod Cow -- no disrespect intended by me, so I hope none is perceived by you. If you (and others) are the *law*, In my (imho), you need to lay down that law. Posters here need to realize that some folks can operate on several cylinders, not just one. That was the entire point of my other post. For what it's worth --- I've had several posts deleted, moderated, (recently and in the past), and changed to the point I barely recognized them myself over the past 5 or so years I've been here. With 13,780 posts (here at GSC), I invite you to find ONE where I've criticized a Mod, for their actions. I understand your *angst* on the matter. I also understand others aren't as *compassionate* as I. I don't criticize your concern, as I said in the other post, since it is MORE than a valid point. What needs to be corrected here is the fact that poster's are *modding* the Mods. As I said in the other post: I honestly think you should all stand up as a group and say "We are us. Accept us for who we are, or leave the board. Nother words --- force folks to realize (ginosko) that a person who is a mod can be passionate about one thing as a poster, and be totally objective when dealing with fractious posters (such as myself) in an objective way. If (and again this is my imo) you were to do so, I'm willing to bet that the "utter contempt" (which I admit you all are receiving now), would disappear, and fade out like so much smoke over the water. That smoke isn't going to dissipate, if you (all -- not you personally), don't make waves, for it to do so. Again --- my imo, and no offense intended. Just a coupla lessons I've learned in life. She meant their screen names, not their real ones, (unlike you and I and others), use here at the GSC. I've long been a proponent of Mods using their REAL screen name that they initially signed up here under; but that ain't a happening thing. And (sadly), I don't fault them for it, given the posters *mentality* found here. You made a valid point. Folks would hold innocuous posts/ and or moderated posts made by the moderators all *suspect* regardless what they might say. It's time to grow up, folks. I Pm'd one of the mods (it's immaterial which one), about this very question, and that mod replied with a thoughtful and detailed reply. IMO -- dual identities are being used by the mods, because the folks here can't recognize that some on this site have dual responsibilities, all wrapped up into the one poster who has valid opinions of their own, and has a responsibility to say *enough is enough* at times. Let me put it this way --- being a parent is the same thing. You've got Mom and Dad and the kids. The kids recognize the parents as some one to interact with, have fun with, enjoy life with --- but by the same token, the kids ALSO recognize parents as an authoritarian figure who will correct them in times of disobedience. Right?? Does the parent be a *loving* person under one name, and be the disciplinarian under a different name?? Of course not. Families can be divisive too. Argumentative, dis-functional, kinda reminiscent of GSC, eh?? The same should hold true on the GSC. The folks here should be made to understand that some folks hold certain responsibilities and either accept that fact or leave the board. I'm not the biggest fan of authoritarianism, but I have to admit it works in more cases than one. And if one is going to be an authority figure, they shouldn't have to *hide* behind a second name, to accomplish the rules of this board, or any other. So while I understand the need for the *dual identity* that is taking place right now (and has been taking place), I'm also of the opinion it's time for the mods to say something like --- "We are us. Way Prod had TALENT. The *message* might not have been one you would like to hear (even though *in*), but you sit behind a pedal steel guitar, and even tell me what TUNING THE STRINGS ARE IN, if you can. Shucks --- you're denigrating folks who could pick, given the message they delivered, rather than what they did on stage, with instrument in hand to audiences across the country. Nother words, you are mistaken, musically *negligent*, and (somewhat) biased in this. :) This stuff here pales in comparison to the times when there were REAL musicians on stage. It's a friggin *stage show* now days --- judging by this video. Anyone else remember Skip, Dean, John R., Dave G, Mike, Ritchie, the other Dave, Ken, Cliff, Claudette, Brian, Stevie Kay, Dan M., Helen, Mary Ann, Joe, Paul, Ralph G., Dan H, John K., and a whole multitude of other performers (that I don't remember off-hand), on the TWI stages? So Yea --- I agree with the guy who says *Stop It Forever!!*, but to compare this performance with past performances from Way Prod , isn't being exactly fair. Just my IMO as a picker, who recognizes stage talent over *CANNED * stuff.
