Ha ha ha. Just what we need --- *supernatural wisdom* on a twi friendly site! ;)-->

Cripes --- they require (no -- they demand!) that believer's in a 250 mile radius attend a SNS, and these bozos can't travel 7 miles for the funeral of the former 1st Lady??? What an arrogant, apostate bunch of *********. David . .

twi is the epitome of that old quote: "If you're not for us, you're against us." They don't give a $h!t about anyone other than *their own*. And (these days) *their own* has a new definition too (obviously). David

Oak and Reiki -- Bright blessings on your day tomorrow! :)--> :)--> :)--> Wishing I could be there, but will have to be at work instead. All the same -- I wish you two the best. David

But even if yer a fan of JD -- welcome. :)--> David

Ahhhhh -- OK. Hey if you like Jack Daniels, you will find this to be better: http://www.makersmark.com' TARGET=_blank>:)--> David

Time to *fess up* -- here is one I have used: "My car isn't starting, I'll be there as soon as I can." I neglected to tell them that my car wouldn't start, because I over-slept, and was still in bed! :D--> Not the same as calling in sick, but late to work is just as bad, if not worse!

A friend of mine used to like to use this one: "We had a power loss at our house, I'll be there as soon as I can." (She neglected to mentiion that the *power loss* was her inability to respond to the alarm clock!!) :D-->

But that was a funny video! :)--> David

Hmmmm -- I couldn't afford the gas for my 4X4 Dodge truck, so I parked it and bought a Subaru sedan... The Subi gets 2 1/2 times the mileage -- but when winter rolls around (up here) -- the 4X4 Dodge has the clearance to go through snow drifts that would bury the Subi. :)--> Best of both worlds?? Yea -- I think so, regardless of the price of gas. :)--> David

Omigosh!!! -- I realize now that by changing the previous *revelation* of this song, I: A) doubted the Word (of song) B) omitted a word (of song) C) added a word (of song) D) and changed the word (of song). :(--> :(--> :(--> I wonder if I'm following the precepts of pfal -- Power For Abundant Lyrics! :D--> :D--> David

And no -- I am not *punchy* tonight. I got a solid 12 hours of sleep (at my own house), and only had to work 8 hours today! :)--> David

Ted -- here's an idea for meter and rhyme. Ps -- if you record this -- it would be nice to have an acapella group do a *bridge*, right before chorus three -- in the old traditiional way of that tune! :D--> THE CLUB OF CONFUSION BY: THE GREASE BAND Verse One: Pardon Us For This, Our Awful Intrusion. But We Were Once In A State, Of Utter Delusion. Feeling our Life Was Just An Allusion, We See Now It Was just, Our Mixed Up Confusion. We’ve Been Bruised And Now Have A Contusion. Though We Won't Let That Become An Illusion. You May Think We've Been An Obnoxious Protrusion. Though We Did Our Best, We’re Testing The Rest. We’re Through With Just Perusing. Chorus One: You Can Let It All Hang Out At The Club Of Confusion David Fiddles Blue Grass Ala Prochaine Wails Jazz Fusion Moony's Group Is Getting Better So There's No Escusin' Biker Babe Rev's Up Her Harley At The Club Of Confusion Verse Two: Some may wonder why we're happy, with all that bad losing. Now living free we’ve removed, all that painful bruising. Both removing and healing it all, because we do the choosin'. We ain't cryin' in our beer we just like to do some (hic!) boozin'. So pull up that chair, plunk down your a$$. We've got the bottle, if you've got the glass. Old stories when told of one's past confusion, When plied with libation, lead to serious musing. Chorus Two: David picks on the fiddle, and Ala sings Jazz There's a dancer on stage (her name is Shaz). Serving the drinks, that make you all smile Is the sommelier himself - Oenophile All respect the bouncer, (though some cut and run), It's Shellon herself, and she's got a gun. And where did the dollars go, from that tip bucket? Well -- everyone's guessing -- that Pawtucket. (sung by a choir) acapella: hummmmmm, hummmmmm, hummmmmm We’ve a stow-ry to tell to the naaaayyyy - shuns, That we once thought we were right. But day by day, we realized, Our day was turned to night. But the darkness shall turn into dawning, And dawning to noon-day bright And as we leave, we will not grieve, And we won't quit the fight. Chorus Three -- (back to the original tune): Ted is up there on the stage, sunglasses firmly on Mic in hand, singing loud, singing us his song. A *joyful noise* behind him, a joyful crowd out front At the Club of Confusion, What more could you want?! :)-->  David . . .

That I don't want to do if it entails working straight through from noon tuesday to 5 pm wednesday with 2 hours of sleep -- as was the case here. --> David

Hey there Oldies, how be ye? Not disputing that you *asked and received* at all, but 1973 was a lot different than the latter 70's, and early 80's. IMO docvic was much more accessible to the average joe in the earlier days (such as 1973), than he was in the following years. Pfal 77, all the *heartbeat* festivals, AC 79, ROA's -- you couldn't get near the mog, much less ask a personal question. I suppose if he chose to swing through a particular area on a motorcycle tour, he might entertain questions about his Harley. I had a question once about the twi spin on born again of the wrong seed in the OT. Still do. "if the devil only copies God's works, how could he have made new birth from the wrong seed *available* before God did, since new birth from the right seed wasn't *available* until Pentecost And it was a secret/mystery to boot'? I asked the bc. They didn't know. I asked the lc. They said hmmm, good question. I suggested sending it in to the research dept. and was told (basically) -- awww don't bother them, they have work to do. --> The *hedge of protection* was growing even then, and becoming more and more impenetrable for the average joe. And if you didn't have the proper color nametag, you weren't going to get through it. ;)--> David

Congrats to Oak and Wacky! I got out of credit card debt 2 years ago, and yes -- it felt great! Have taken out 4 loans for needed items (3 are now paid off), and each time you send that final check in, it feels wonderful. :)--> Way to go! David

I said I was punchy, didn't I? :)--> David

And BTW --- also a welcome to you jackdaniels! :)--> I heard a rumor that you are a brother to Charlie. It's probably not true though, eh? :(--> David

I went through Switzerland once, on my way to Italy. It is the one country I would like to go back to, and take some time exploring.

Rome is a great place to go if you want to find a plethora of priests willing to *bless* anything from a dollar bill, to a picture from your wallet, to your personal automobile, and seal the deal by the sign of the cross over it, and the immortal words: In nomini Domini, pox vobiscum!". :D--> David

Mo -- it's getting cold here in Minnesota too, but we don't have the rain (yet). David
