The first post (this thread) The last post (I'm seeing) In the words of Jerry Garcia --- What A Long Strange Trip It's Been." :( -
Likeaneagle -- You forgot the *great salt shaker* in the sky. ;) THE great salt shaker, with infinite wisdom liberally dispensing sodium into the atmosphere, waters, and marguarita glass rims, as needed. But there is an adversary --- The great Pepper shaker in the sky Raining Cayenne down, to replace the salt, Thus the heat, thus the global warming. The salt hath lost it's savour A little cayenne, cayenne's the whole earth. (or so some will say -- these days!) This makes (almost) as much sense as the claims of global warming (imo). (and I wuz jest *funnin* there) But hey -- we all tap into different news sources, eat the banana and throw out the peel, so what do I know? Lifted -- yessir -- You and I got off on the wrong foot, but thankfully, we both regained our feet. It never hurts to hear opposing opinions. Hearing the other side is a good thing. Looking at it is better. Mutual info garnered when both sides do the same thing. (I like looking at the other side --- gives me a break from my own thoughts time and again!!) David

And --- When someone deliberately takes from others works, prints it as their own work, and sells the product for money (And NONE of that money goes to the original contributors/ teachers ---) It's stealing. Regardless if (on occasion) the claim was made that The things I teach are not all mine -- (But I sure am making a pile of dough off of it). -

Ahhh Raf. Didn't you haul over 3,000 comic strips of yours to the dump? And study The Gospel according to Peanuts only after that? Didn't Charlie Brown tell you he would teach you comics, like they hadn't been known since comics were invented? Shucks -- with all that going for you, You could have said --- *Large, obese, pigmented filament occurance* Claimed it as your own, And made your *original* point Without plagiarizing, or citing sources. ;) -
And since this is true for some, The *boundless heart* should make sense to all.

Ahhh I can just see it now. Tents and sleeping bags, goose down and poly-propylene clothing, snow shoes *parked* by a campfire and skiis and poles stuck upright in the snow while the users party at the campfire snowmobiles 4-wheelers Belle fixing s'mores (???) :D open camp fires Midnight Sun No Greasespots by midnight! AND GROG!!! (Sounds like a plan!) ;)

And that's what it is all about. Ambiguous credit given to no one in particular. Dan -- my copies were all soft cover too (paperbacks). The orange book is in pieces, but the others are kinda intact (lack of use I guess!) The intact ones have no bibliography. ;) -
Really??? I thought it was something you put on pizza. ;)

Shhhhhh!! Either WhiteDove, or Psalmie might hear you, and all the leftovers will be airborne!!

I love 4-wheeling through new snow. It's been a few years since I did any skating, or sledding though. Come to think of it, it's been a while since I did any X-C skiing or snow shoeing either. Cab of the truck with cd playing, thermos of coffee, and heat --- makes it too easy to *wimp out* (these days). :D

Hiya Tom! Good to see you again. Who sent you the TWO lumps of coal??? Mike? :P

I guess not, eh???? You weren't a woman. You were *safe*. Any other *earth-shattering* news you care to share??? -
Hey Geo -- I didn't *get* much either. 2 books (from my mother the librarian). One was Opus Dei (she sent it my way thinking of me and former cult involvement), And the other was The Lord is My Shephard (by Kushner) To help me get over the loss of my sister (which I have come to grips with) I know you don't care for either religion, or God. My gift to you is to be thinking of you, and hoping that you get satisfaction out of life, regardless of the curves thrown your way. I hope you accept. Life is more than endeavors that turn out sour. (I know that one from personal experience, too) And life goes on despite the crap that flows downhill. You are a good guy. Never forget that. Regardless of the curves being thrown your way. OK??? Take care, and merry (insert comment/holiday here) to you. You were a great person to know when you lived here. You still are. :) David

What docvic taught may have changed your life John (it gave me a new perspective to things too), but given the *annoying interruptions* that seem to have been part of his daily life FOR DECADES kinda puts the MOG idea on ice. And I'm not running to anyone's defense here, nor am I discounting what you say just because it is you that said it. I am just saying what should be obvious to everyone. People (in all walks of life) are judged by their actions, not just by what they say. Actions are usually not validated by what is said. But often, what is said is invalidated by actions. Docvic said one thing, and then did another. Telling the truth about that hardly qualifies as an *agenda* (imo). David -
Digi --- HA!! :)
