Leslie speakers -- blast from the past! (Short story here ---- ) My grandma, and her sister were both into keyboards. My great-grandpa (a doctor, with some money), bought my grandma a baby grand piano, and her sister (my great aunt), an organ -- complete with a Leslie speaker (which was a seperate unit -- about 3 feet wide, and 3 feet tall), that stood separate from the organ itself, which had 3 keyboards, foot pedals, etc. I inherited the piano (a Wilhelm Knabe) when my grandmother passed away, and her sister (my great-aunt Grace) passed away 2 years before she did --- and the family (not knowing I was interested in obtaining that organ), sold it before I could say I would like to have it. The very sad ending to this story is --- they sold the entire thing for $400.00. :( :(

Athletes of the Spirit --- $*** for brains -- takes on a whole new meaning.

Hey there LittleHawk -- hmmmm. If you're logged into GSC, there should be a *button* at the top of the page that says Live Chat. Whenever I have clicked on that, I've never been asked for a password, since I was already logged into GSC. But --- if I am here (without logging in), I always get asked for user name, and password both.
-
Heh, heh. :) I don't know about *groups* either, but if you are talking about a man, the ending should always end in *O* in spanish, not *A*. (*O* is masculine, and *A* is feminine.) Hmm. Is guitarista or guitaristo even a real word??

$400.00 will get you a bike -- but will it be a decent one?? If you're going to give it some *use and abuse*, quality over price should be the consideration.
-
??? Should be the same as your password that you use to get into GSC. Mine is, at any rate.

Hmmmm. I'm seeing a *truism* here! ;) Teacher: "Ok --- today, class, we will be be discussing the merits of sno-cones over chocolate pie. Johnny: "Teacher -- what is a sno-cone???" Teacher: "You must learn all about sno-cones, before you can ask any questions about them." Johnny: "But I'm asking you, so I can learn about them." Teacher: "Anything I may have to say about sno-cones, would fall on deaf ears, since you obviously know nothing about them." Johnny: "But I have a legitimate question!" Teacher: It is only legitimate, if you understand the subject matter." Johnny: "But that is why I am asking questions, I'm trying to understand the subject matter." Teacher: "I cannot enlighten you, if you know nothing about them." Johnny: "Then why discuss the merits, if some of us don't know what a sno-cone is?" Teacher: Just listen to what I say, and perhaps you will understand." Johnny: "So I can't ask questions, and get an answer??" Teacher: I have spoken much on the subject previously, as have others, whom I revere highly for their knowledge on the subject. Read what was said." Johnny: "So you won't answer a simple question?" Teacher: "Like I said --- Read what was written about the subject previously. When you understand that fully, you may return with your questions."   (edited for speeling!) ;) -
What I read is a lot of money, but mostly *in-house*, eh??

Last night --- more folks were in Flash Chat (so I went there). Tonight --- more folks were in Live Chat (so I went there). Methinks still (that) Live is better than Flash, but I'll go to either one. :)

Dang!!! I forgot all about those!! And I still have one here today! (Stuck away with all the other *memorabilia*).

I just listened to the clip. :( What a crock, what a bunch of lies, what a bunch of *holier than thou* BS. (rest of message *deleted*) ---
-
I used to have the tapes of that. Gave them to someone else. :( My favourite from that set is Cliff Adelm@n singing *My Life's Dream*. :) (and who could ever forget --- *Lord, I Believe* sung by Brian Blis$?)

Demijon???? WOW!! (There is a term I haven't heard for a while!) (Of course this demijohn musta had moonshine in it, eh??) ;)

That's a pretty accurate description of my involvement also. Even when I head back to Bloomington, Indiana to visit my folks --- I don't go to the CES fellowships there (and there are several), preferring instead to spend time with my family. Heavan vs. Paradise -- where will we be? I'm not going to cut and paste from the Truth or Tradition site on this one. I'd rather add my personal perspective, and say what I see about it. There's a few things I don't understand (entirely) myself, but the basic premise I have is -- we will be in Paradise, not Heavan.

Man can I ever relate to THAT! If it doesn't sound good, or play easily --- I don't want it. I think that is especially true with acoustic instruments. And --- the only way to know how they sound or how they play, is to try 'em out first! B)

YA BIG JERK!!!! (I fell for it too. Good one!)

Hmmm. What can be said/ re-said/ hashed/ and re-hashed that hasn't been gone over before?? (Making popcorn, and selling front row tickets here!) :B) -
Allan -- I've thought about it bro, but given my work schedule -- it ain't a'gonna happen. :( The nearest fellowship (CES) to me is 80 miles away. Just a little too far --- for an evening with the *family* -- (don't cha know!) And FYI. Allan ---- Raf (as well as myself, Ex10, and others) think CES is doing a pretty good job, but could meebe stand some improvement! (That's an *IMO*, on my part!) ;) Check out the links I provided. That is CES, talking about what they are into. You might actually like what they have to say.
