  1. Rightly so. Sure -- forgiveness is great, and recommended, even. But so is acknowlegement of crimes commited. Yes it does -- but it also says to confront the sinner. What kind of help would you be looking for?? If you are looking for help on how to leave twi, how to deal with the inconsistancies of twi, how to deal with the micro-managing-second-by-second-of-your-daily-life-that-twi-does --- You've come to the right place. If you are looking for validation of docvic's *dogma*, you have *harmatia* (missed the mark). CK -- I've told ya this time and again -- this is NOT a docvic friendly site. And I have also told you that we (most all of us here) have met the guy, and are NOT blowing smoke, when personal experiences are recounted, for all the cyber-world to see. You have never met him, yet you have heard his teachings from the tapes your parents (or whomever), have given you, and you are hanging onto what you have heard. Cool -- Fine -- You do as you wish, but may I add one thing here?? Don't blow off the personal experiences that some of the folks here have had with that evil human being. He did a good job of quoting scripture (but then again -- so the devil did too), and he (docvic) conned a lot of young folks back before you were born. We are they, and he is *Not the man he knew to be*, with good reason. Please take that into consideration ----- Your zeal is admirable, but misguided.
  2. Hmm. I wouldn't share any personal prophecy I received. I might talk about it, but I sure as shooting wouldn't play the tape for others to hear. Meebe the guy wanted to use it as an intro to a teaching he was doing --- I don't know. Pride certainly is a possibility too, though.
  3. He's been belly-achin cause we (read *I and others*), don't believe that pfal is God-breathed, and the new set of *scripture* for this day and time. :) If he had stuck with saying that pfal was a set of wonderful KEYS to unlocking the mysteries in the Bible, he would have much more credence than he now does.
  4. So --- from what I read in the above quote -- pfal is NOT claiming to teach the Word from Genesis to Revelation, NOR is it a God-breathed set of words, BUT IT IS giving the reader KEYS to understand the Word -- from Genesis to Revelation. So that means that even docvic claims NO superiority over the Word, by his *writings*.
  5. Like I said ---- sayonara! pfal is a tool, nothing more.
  6. Roy ---- THANKS! :) (Sometimes I wonder if anyone here hears what I say,). ;)
  7. Actually -- I have a question --- Perhaps this has been addressed already (I don't know), But why is the Pope included as the *Worst Leader of the Way* (I grant you -- I am too lazy to sift through all the previous pages.) :) What does the Pope have to do with twi????
  8. The Folks here at GreaseSpot (and yer included too, Roy), have caused me to expand my *horizions*. ;)
  9. Numbers 22:28 -- someone here named Balaam???

    2006 Cones

Fergit the *cones* (for now ---) Tornadoes are hitting Tennessee. :(
  11. Shucks -- I read *Submariner's birthday*, but thought that was a screen name! Happy birthday, Galen!!!
  12. Naw -- I will add no more. And I'm guessing that you would say I have added nothing. Everything I have asked you about pfal, has been relegated back to me, and my *lack of the understanding thereof*. I've been accused of not understanding docvic's dying wish. I've been accused of not understanding *the material* of pfal. I ask honest questions, and get *lambasted*, because I haven't read what you have written in many, many posts before. When I have asked directly, I've been accused of attacking, mis-interpretting, etc. When you mention tapes, and I question that (due to your own posts) I am subject to ridicule, for not differentiating between history, and doctrine. I'm done. :) I have tried to interact, and you have refused, Mike. You made it VERY EASY for me to make negative personal comments about you (for which I apologize -- profusely, even). Your *zeal* exceeds your wisdom (as does mine). It has always been your lack of willingness to address questions directly, that leads to this. (Trying to be kind here -- even at the end.) Like I say -- I am now out of the picture you have painted. It's a *work of art*. You've already got the frame picked out, -- and it will never change. God bless, take care, and may you find --- whatever. This is one OLG saying sayonara. IMO -- there is a stairway to heavan -- but it surely isn't pfal, and docvic isn't the person ushering folks to that stairway. (and THAT is something you refuse to discuss rationally. (just IMO).
  13. Well -- let me back-track a little (if I may) -- tongues certainly was a *communication* thing, in Acts. That actually might have something to do for today as well -- hadn't thought of that point. :) It was the Interpretation aspect of it, that CES teaches different from what docvic did. Again -- I am a *long-distance* supporter of theirs, and what I posted above, is what I have heard them teach. Haven't heard CES teach it was for communication purposes, but then there is that *way-brain* kicking in. And thinking about it makes ya wanna go Hmmmmm.
  14. So -- tongues is merely communicating??? Why is it first mentioned in Acts, and not in the OT, and why is it always mentioned as a spiritual event? Maybe I am missing something you are saying here.
  15. What a buncha *harmartia* comes to mind. :) (Ps -- you got my attention a long time ago, and sadly I have since realized ---- You have been at the train station when the *boat came in*). Since we will never agree, and you consider me (and others here) idiots, unworthy of your discourse -- I'l bid you Adieu!! Have a good one, see ya at the Bema, and bring your Orange book -- (Jesus mighta worn out His by then.)
  16. No problem here at all, Belle. :) Like Ex10 said -- I thought it better to be heard from them, rather than hear my viewpoint on it -- since then this thread would be about my perspective, rather than theirs. And since I don't have the time (these days) to really answer in depth -- I figured the links would answer questions more completely and thoroughly than I could. I will say one thing here, about how they differ with twi about as pertains to Interpretation. According to CES -- an interpretation of tongues should NEVER begin with *MY CHILDREN*. OK -- what does that mean?? It means that the first time that men spoke in tongues there in Acts -- men spoke *the wonderful things of God* (Acts 2:11). And then, when Cornelius and his crew received holy spirit, and spoke in tongues -- Peter and the others with him heard them *speak with tongues and magnify God*. (Acts 10:46). Nowhere is it mentioned that it was a message *from God*, like docvic said it could be. It was a message magnifying God, and since these are the first usages of it (ANYWHERE) -- it follows that all usages afterwards should follow the same pattern (just like the use of the word *Elohim*/ twohoo boohoo/ etc.) that docvic taught. If docvic was so big on first usages -- he shoulda applied it to tongues and interpretation as well. But he didn't. The prophecies (yup -- personal ones) directed to folks both in the OT and the NT did start with -- MY PEOPLE (OT prophecies), or Thus sayeth the Holy Ghost (from Agabus Acts 21:11) -- but I don't see anywhere, that TONGUES started with these words, as that would be a contradiction to the *first usage*. In Acts 19 Paul wanders in to Ephesus, and finds *certain disciples* that were the *fruit* of Apollos. According to docvic (and Acts bears it out) -- Apollos split for Corinth before he taught the folks at Epheseus about holy spirit -- which he learned from Aquilla and Pricilla. Paul shows up, shows them how to manifest something greater than the baptism of John, and in Acts 19:6 -- it says they spoke in tongues and prophesied. Nowhere does it say tongues is a message *from God*. Everywhere is says prophecy is a message *from God*. And --- Everywhere it says tongues magnifies God (so the message is *TO HIM*, not *FROM HIM*). So there is a perspective (read IMO) where CES differs from twi. Hope that works for ya. ;)
  17. Thank you's to the Peelers!!! :eusa_clap:
