  2. For those of you who think *Freud* is a *Fraud* -- Y'all should check out the chat-room more often. ;) One person there know's he is *for real*, for sure. I'll leave y'all to go Hmmmmm, and speculate.

I have one of these *bad boys* to tune my piano with --- but ya need to know *cents deviation* (coarse, or fine) -- and --- *pitch selector* -- (note, and octave). I've had this thing for several years, and still can't figure it out!! (It was a gift, so it's not like I bought it -- with grandiose expectations of higher technology!)
  6. I remember the *official* twi version being --- *Saved someone, like me ---- (Sung by Claudette ----------- ) Guess *wretch* wasn't in twi vocabulary, even then -- eh??

I've got a coupla three tuners here. One is the *Intellitouch* Tuner -- that clamps to your instrument, and bypasses all sound, coming from the room you are in, the *noise* around you, the stage, whatever --- The main one I use is the Korg CA-30 --- I have a *wire* that plugs into it, and clips onto the instrument (I call it a *roach clip wire*), and it does the same thing -- it bypasses all the music going on, and allows you to tune. :) You still have to tune the instrument manually --- but these devices only *hear* the note you are playing on whatever you are picking at the time. :) And --- it lets you know if a string is outta whack, with the others.
  8. Hey there Revvel --- interesting read -- however --- I wish you would be willing to discuss this stuff -- and not just show up every once in a while, and use this as a *teaching* platform. I don't remember getting an answer about *return* vs. *rapture* -- way back early on. Kinda defeats the purpose of the site. :( (Just my IMO).
  9. Yup -- bring LOTS of dollar bills, Belle! Us pickers have ALWAYS been partial to *folding money*, instead of coins. (air-borne coins tend to *ding* the instruments -- don't cha know!)
  10. An atheist, an agnostic, and a believer walk into a bar. Bartender says -- "what'll it be Gents?? Round of beer for everyone?? Atheist says ---- "I don't believe in beer." Agnostic says -- " I'm not sure beer exists." Believer says (after downing the first one ---- ) Everyone needs something to believe in, I believe I'll have another beer! Good thread here!! Interesting insights. ;) Everyone is making sense -- on both sides! stuff to ponder ---------
  11. Gotta luv that *cool stuff*! Can't travel *in style*, without it. :)
  12. Yo momma's so fat -- when she bungee-jumped, She *sagged* the bridge!
  13. Yo Momma's so fat -- she can stand flat-footed, and kick-start a 747!! Yo Momma's so fat -- she can stretch her lips, and stall the engine of a greyhound bus! Yo Momma -- she's so fat --- it takes her 7 trips, just to haul a$$. ;)
  14. Yo momma's so cross-eyed, when she makes love, she thinks it's three-some!! (good one!)
  15. Jung -- again --- welcome, and thanks for your input. :)
  16. Radar --- Refiner, Prisca, and Doug (aka-- LongHauler) are alive and well over on Jehovah's Witness Online. :)
  17. Certainly -- It is something the wayGB is (more) than capable of, but given the fact that two new posters have appeared, and laid down some thoughts -- (NONE OF WHICH -- I might add) support twi, or lcm --- I gotta ask --- "where's the beef"?? Hmmm? :)
  18. From the *My Space* site --- Shucks -- I registered there (and got in), but I need to wait 7 days, before they will accept a post from me! :(
