  1. Woops!! -- I missed that, Mark. Thanks! :)
  2. Hmmmmm. Either the *just* were at the ROA, or the *unjust* were ---------------- But if BOTH were there, it just (biblically) had to rain all the time!! ;) ;) ;)
  3. It's a *tough* read -- but hopefully -- that made it a tad easier to peruse. ;)
  4. Mr. and Mrs. Pipes --- You two are awesome!!! What a letter!! What a response!! :( Thank you for the time and effort it took to post this for us here. I can't believe (wait-a-minute---I CAN BELIEVE), the response you got, to such a well written, to-the-point letter pointing out twi deficiencies. God bless you for trying. "What's worth saying, is worth saying over, and over, and over, and over ---"
  5. Even though I hang onto some of the tenets of pfal, I've never felt *hounded*. Meebe because I'm willing to look at the *other side*, and consider?? I don't know. Meebe because I don't propound them as *all truth*? I don't know. Meebe because I see a lot of sense in all the varying viewpoints? I don't know. Meebe because I am willing to change my thinking at times? I don't know. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "HOUND NOT, LEST YE BE HOUNDED IN RETURN!!" "How many times shall I hound my brother, Lord? Til seven times??? "Nay -- I say unto ye - NOT until seven times shalt thou hound him --- But thou shalt hound him until seventy x seven times!!
  6. An Athlete of the Spirit!!! Kidding, jussst kidding! ~~~
  7. Nope. Because of the 2nd to last question -- I'm guessing it's all somewhere in pfal, eh?
  8. Hey there PAULTONY! Welcome to GreaseSpot! Pull up a chair and make yourself comfortable! :)
  9. HA!!! He probably makes more than that, by promoting the *mystery*!
  10. Did I say *Master of Illusion*?? Methinks I did. :) I know what I saw -- and I agree with yer analysis. Meebe I have hung around you and Geo too long -- *color* me *Skepdict!!*
  11. Yup --- sure looks like a *sting operation* to me!!!
  12. Where --- (pray tell) did you hear He set us up for failure?? Eh??
  13. Mike -- thanks for post #295. :) You finally answered a question! (Keep it up!). :) You DON'T call the shots here, and neither do we -- Public Forum -- remember?? When you respond, things go MUCH SMOOTHER. And it's really nice when you respond to specific questions. (IMO) -- if folks take the time to ask, decency requires that you answer ---- NOT WITH a *dodge* (ie --- DID YOU SEE MY QUESTIONS??) but --- with an answer -- It does the heart GOOD!! (Just DO IT!!). :)
  14. Hmmm. Sounds like a teen-ager wanting the keys to the car, on a Friday night. ;)
  15. P!zz-on-the-*social-engineers*. (Just-one-more-damn-group-looking-to-control-the-*little-guy*).
  16. If anyone is *pimping* anything --- PLEASE!!! MTV! --- PIMP MY FACE!!!

    Whack your boss

Although I would like to *whack the boss* time and again --- that was sick. :( (Just my IMO, YMMV, and FWIW.)
  18. I was listening to Minney-soda Twins baseball tonight. We lost. :( (The twins aren't doing so hot this year!)
  19. Safari -- Oh yea! If he is ever in your area -- it's a GREAT SHOW!! (Pricey, but good!) Excie -- Yea -- going through solid objects ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ One of his tricks involved a *solid* sheet of steel (4' X 8' in size) that was lowered about 3 feet above a table, that he lay on. Before he got on the table, he had volunteers from the audience, come up on stage, and whack the thing with a hammer. :( :( The noise damn-near-ruined-my-hearing, it was so loud. WHANG!! WHANG!! WHANGGGGGGG!! Short of the long of it is -- he lay down on the table, they lowered the steel to 2 feet above him, covered him and the steel with a big sheet, and he was supposed to pass though it (the steel). The sheet was tight around the prop. We could all see under the table. There was *no way* he had room to come out from under and get on top of the steel from where he lay, but he did. The show was billed as the *Master of Illusion*, and he didn't explain how he did *stuff*.
  20. After an abscence of (about ) 8 years, I did go back and briefly checked out twig again. It was ok at first, but ended up worse than before. I think I lasted about 3, maybe 4 weeks -- then gave it up as useless. Twig wasn't *teaching and fellowship* anymore, nor was Bible the focus. Twig consisted of folks confessing their *sins* to each other --- Marital spats --- (I'm the MAN OF THE HOUSE - LISTEN TO ME!) --- The *leader* confronting various folks there, about things they had done. I brought my bible each time -- and it gathered more dust there, than at home. :( So -- if they've changed -- good for them. :) (I hope they do - for the follower's sake). But as for me ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Once bitten, twice shy." 3rd time is NOT an option.
