How about *believing GreaseSpot poster*? ;)
-
Hmmmmm! Perhaps the *splinter groups* show *a little love*, and don't micro-manage.

I'm a procrastinator. :)

Sir G -- Yes --- *animal therapy* goes where no *man* can. :) Bringing in a dog or a cat is a workable thing, and lot's of folks respond to that. But there is something different about a bird. Maybe it's the beak pecking at you, Maybe it's the feel of the claws on your shoulder, Perhaps it's the fact that it can fly from you to another person. Whatever it is --- it has evoked a response from some folks who do nothing more --- than stare at their shoes all day. Your music and art, can do the same. Everyone deserves dignity --- and you're there to give it to them.

PFAL: An Unorthodox Translation

In my *IMO* --- pfal did just that --- (reinvent the wheel, that is). :) -
My bet is that Mick Jagger *double-dared* Keith to do it!! ;)

Good luck Sir G. :) A friend of mine works with disabled folks, and occasionally brings her pet bird (charlie) into work. Some of those folks who are non-verbal, severely withdrawn into themselves -- and who basically stare at their shoes all day long refusing human contact --- will let the bird sit on their finger, shoulder, etc., and *talk* to it continually. You can (and will) make a difference! :) If a bird can do wonders for folks -- think of what you have to offer. ;)

Soooooooo true! :( (Ps -- I think that quote needs to be in the *GreaseSpot gems* thread!!) -
Belle --- thanks for pulling this out of the other thread. :) It's important (and significant) enough, to have it's own *discussion* going on, and not be buried somewhere on page 3 (or whatever). Something THIS GOOD deserves to *up front and center*.

Why do we continue to hound those who are clearly

If I recollect correct, *agnostic* would be the better word here. :) -
It was a tough choice between GreaseSpot poster and believer, since I'm guessing you can only vote for one, eh? :)

Do you think it is a *safe bet* that the truth Jesus spoke of --- was considerably different than the *truth* propounded by docvic?? ;) -
NO. :)

JONNY LINGO Happy birthday to you -- and good luck in your *decision making*! :)

Can you be a little more specific???

Couldn't have said it better -- especially the *few of us* part! Mike -- it's time for you to start a topic. Let us know what you think about this. :) If you post it, folks will consider it --- and that is what you look for, eh? ;) -

Mike --- I would be interested to hear *your* take on the return/rapture. Perhaps you could start a new thread about it?? As I have said in the past -- I'm willing to listen. I may not agree --- but I'm willing to listen. :) -
Of course she does. :) I was being facetious about it, but Shaz made some EXCELLENT points about (member) numbers, and tax-free status. ;)
