Hmmm. If ya do Mo -- I have an extra set here at the house my ex left behind, when she moved out. One set is MORE THAN ENOUGH for me! Ps -- only one I can't send you is the RHST book. I only have one of those. I lost my copy somewhere through the years. PPS --- and YES!!! I will send them to you if you want!. But -- personally I think you would be better off NOT having them. You sound like you're happy with life as it is, and don't need any complications. ;)

I know that -- but Mason Williams (who wrote the *cough!!* poem) told this story about the inspiration behind it. I heard him over in Bayfield, Wisconsin several years ago, at the Big Top Chautauqua, and he told the story about living near the Cascades of Washington (the state), and talking with a conservation officer there about the lack of Moose here in the US, versus the population that seemed to thrive in Canada. Mason (innocently) suggested goosing them moose, to get them to this side of the border. Thus -- the inspiration for the *poem* -- altho I would bet he's never done it himself. ;)

Gotta luv it. Shucks -- back in '78, 20 wow's were sent here to Duluth alone. We must've been *prevailing*, and not even known it. Sure beats the numbers they are putting out now, eh?

If pizza were a *true* pie -- then it would have crust on top of it, instead of *toppings* --- like pineapple!

What I really Don't Like! ~~~~~ A police car behind me on the road, even when I'm COMPLETELY legal. (Me gets nervous! Makes mistakes. BUSTED!) :(

I was in NYC once, when I was a young-un. There were no twin towers (WTC) then -- I never saw them, so how do I know that they really did exist? Likewise, I've heard some *rumors* that a coupla jets crashed into those towers, back on September 11th, 2001. That is -- if they existed in the first place -- cause I never saw them. And all the film footage about what happened on 9/11 just has to be bogus, since I didn't see the occurance firsthand, and I'm not sure the buildings were even there. Who cares if many were tragically affected that day, have first hand accounts, *survivor* stories abound, etc., etc., etc. Now excuse me while I google for pics of the NYC skyline -- pics of the city before the WTC towers were built (if they were built). And then when I find them -- I'll post the *other info proving* they never existed, and 9/11 never happened. And if I did -- how much of THAT would you believe -- Oldies???

Hmmm. Reminds me of *giving equals receiving*, Karma, what goes around, comes around -- that sort of thing. As twi has sown -- so shall they reap. (I don't feel sorry for them at all).

Medical (and Dental) are both offered by the company I work for. It used to be free. They apologized to all of us for *needing* to charge us $15.00 per pay period ($30.00 each month). There is a small co-pay, but it's insignificant. :)

Yep -- but not at my place. I have not much more than Trillium, Jack-in-the-Pulpits, Day lilies, Iris (sp?), columbine, and the lily-of-the-valley plants. I've got the original *brown thumb*! :D If it's in my yard --they are on their own! (Survival of the fittest). ;)

I've got some of them here in the yard. You're right about the fragrance. :) Now -- I wish they would hurry up and bloom (here).

Safari -- haven't you ever heard of Mason Williams, and the *Them* poems?? :blink: He also wrote the tune Classical Gas which is (admittedly) much better than The Them Poems :)

DesertVis -- Somewhere here in the archives, is a thread about that very subject. Although many here don't think docvic actually did get a PhD., some contend that he actually did -- doing the work needed, albeit at an uncredited school. I don't know myself, nor do I care, but I thought you might like to know that. :)
