Hey there Sogwap. :) Fer what it's worth -- I saw (do see) this thread as a *travel; and preparation* thing. Meebe corps (now) are involved, and meebe believers (now) are involved, but I take this whole thing as what is happening NOW, and NOT what happened in the past. I can tell a few stories of travel, corps involvement, *mandated* practices (on the road), etc., and it would all be from the late 1970's. :) I got a kick out of hearing how SERIOUS everyone was taking the preparation for this upcoming trip of theirs. Crimminy -- Next thing you know --- twi will turn this into another *class*. :( So -- What you said in your first sentence - "The "current" corps has nothing to do with me." is absolutely true. :) If this is a *corp-bashing* thread, please see it as for those who (sadly) are still manipulated by twi, and can't think for themselves, without the ORG approving it. It's NOT about you, or old corp at all. And yes -- there were many fine ones. It was my privilidge to have known a few, and to have them as TC and BC and LC. :) :)

My *detailed* planning --- Fiddle and mando?? Check. Working CB radio/ lots of cd's to listen to?? Check. Full tank of gas/ oil change?? Check. Clothing for a week?? Check. Toiletries?? Check. Coffee pot and 2 lbs of coffee? Check. Credit Card???. Check. Ready to roll. :)

SNACKS!! They forgot to mention snacks! Such a difficult thing to budget for that it was specified originally -- and now it's buried under the guise of *food*, or *finances*. :( Shaaaaame on them! For penance -- twi should hand out special nametags at the AC --- Joe Believer I GOT SNACKS!

And --- no matter how hard you try -- you can't lick your elbow either! :blink:

Once had a huskie. I took him in (abandonded). Was an older *pup* when I got him, and he grew fast!! Named him Jake. Don't know where I came up with that one, but I liked it. :)
