  1. Psst! -- screwdriver is in the cabinet - and it's unlocked.
  2. "so now I need the head light off the motor bike and cant figure how to get it off is it in the basement room i want the light for the flashlight ." You need a screwdriver for the headlight of the motorcycle, batteries from the radio for the flashlight. break the tile under the rug, use the hose as a rope down and find the key in the basement. :) The key was on a grate by the door out and slipped through the grate, when you cliked on the door mat. Or did you? :)

    That's 20 a year more than I make. ;)
  4. get the firewood. put it in the machine first -- turn the machine on. the wood will catch fire - click the burning firewood to save it then put it in the fireplace -- the fire starts That will heat the room enough for the machine to cut the metal. :)
  5. If you still have head rolling beneath the stairs --- click on the chair to the left there. it moves forward, and then click on the bridge post stairway goes down -- and the door will open. :)
  6. Well - no physical gun was ever held to our heads. It was a spiritual one!! No one I know of was ever kicked out for NOT giving -- (giving the *nod* to Oldies here --) But I do know of some who's lives were made a living hell -- beacause they did not give. For that matter -- I got called on the carpet, for daring to consider corps sponsorship as abs. I was told emphatically -- that "THAT DOESN'T COUNT AS ABS". I told the BC to take a hike. I felt I was giving to the *ministry*, and who was he to tell me how to decide to give my money?? He backed down -- but that was back in the 1970's. Obviously -- they have grown *teeth* since then. :( Oldies -- what happened in the 70's was different than today. You probably know that -- but are hanging onto some concept from the past, and applying it to today -- or overall -- I don't know, but it isn't cutting the mustard. It's the ostrich hiding it's head in the sand -- see no evil, there is no evil. <_< After leaving twi in 86 or 87, and then getting re-involved in the mid 90's, I noticed a huge difference in the ABS requirements. Ironically -- since I was *apostate* when I started going to twig again ( in the 90's), they were more interested in me believing what they did about doctrine, and weren't so intense about the *fine points* like ABS. (at least for me -- that wasn't the case with others). I p!ssed them off enough (doctrinally), that they showed me the door, without even entering my name on the green, or blue, or whatever colored form it was for ABS. And as a side note -- When I was active in twig -- I always paid by check because I didn't trust the TC to turn everything in -- if it was in cash. Helluva-loving-giving-receiving-twig -- eh?? I couldn't even trust the TC to be honest. That should have been my cue to leave -- right then. And he was the one *teaching* me about giving. I think he lived by the *left hand- right hand* rule -- *Never let your left hand know when the right hand is dipping into the horn-of-plenty*. Nuff said.
  7. Same here! Unless I was driving with like-minded drivers. (Please note -- I did NOT say like-minded believers!!) I like to drive with those who think the speed limit is when --- you shift OUT of 3rd gear!!
  8. Here's hoping you had a good one (out there and on top). One more climb to the big five-0. (Easier or harder than the north face of Mt. Eiger??) ;)
  9. Right. He tithed to Melchizedek once (from the spoils of war --- Genesis 14). NOT from other income. ;)
  10. And then there is docvic's version of dreams --- Heard him claim/ *teach* one time (and this is NOT an exact quote), that the more you were into the Word, the less you dreamed. Guess he never dreamed at all (being the MOG) -- at least in his sleep. <_<
  11. I go right by Bloomington/ Normal Il. every time I head back to Indiana. Las Vegas sounds like it will be MUCH MORE FUN!!
  12. David, the "biblical research" aspect is also gone. All they do now is re-read the same teachings with the occasional new "incident" thrown in for good measure. Belle -- I know! That's why the words biblical research and teaching are in * * marks. ;) (my middle name should be facetious!)
  13. The *smiley faces are in room 5. This room is a real bear!! :( see how those smileys are in a 12 box grid (so to speak)? You need to click correctly on them 27 times before you can progress. Here is a big clue for room 5. Get a pen, and paper, and write this down so you have a "grid" when you need it. There is another power panel by the door there --- but you have to "match" stuff there to open the *intelli-lock*. get a piece of paper -- and draw 3 lines down, and two across -- so you have a grid of 12 boxes. 4 across, and 3 down. box 1/ box 2/ box 3/ box 4 box5/ box 6/ box 7/ box 8 box9/ box 10/ box 11/ box 12 Put the following numbers in the matching boxes --- (left to right starting from the top of the three rows). so you should have it looking like this --- Box 1 -- (top row) put in the #'s 14, and 24 box 2 -- put in just the #27 box 3 -- nothing -- leave it empty box 4 -- put in #'s 4, and #20 box 5 (middle row) -- put in #21 box six -- put in all these numbers -- 1, 5, 12, 16, 17 , and 26 box seven --put in all these numbers -- 2, 6, 15, and 19 box 8 -- just the number 7 here box 9 (bottom row) -- put in #8, and #18 box 10 -- put in #9 and #13 box 11 -- put in these numbers -- 3, 11, 22, 25 box 12 --- put in #10, and #23. When you click on the *control panel* right there by the door -- images will show up, and they change when you click on a box. you will see that the images are all in a "12 box" format. And these numbers here, are your guide through the maze, and respresent which *box* you should click on, and when. If you have your piece of paper handy, refer to it, and click from 1 to 27 in succession (now you know which box to click on to move from 1 to 27). Once yer done -- click on the intelli-lock -- and that will unlock a key -- hidden in the other room. ;) That's the key that will get you out of room 5, and into room 6. Good luck!!
  14. Pond is right. Slide the poster under the door -- use the screw to push the key out of the keyhole onto the poster, retrieve the poster w/ key - and you're on to the next room.

Shhhhhhh!!! What I said in PM --should remain in PM!! (ps -- I don't drive like that anymore!!!)
  16. MOTAS We were talking about this in chat tonight -- and Cw (CoolWaters) and myself -- thought some levity might be good here. So -- if yer tired of arguing, tired of bickering, tired of discussing (and all that other good stuff -----) click on MOTAS, above.. It consists of 13 rooms -- and your goal is to get out of each room -- and progress to the next one. (Ps -- it isn't easy but I will give major clues to those who try it -- if they ask). ;) I'm sure some of the *old-timers* here might remember this. Steve! was the first one to do it successfully -- 2 years ago.. He *walked* the rest of us through it. :) (first hint ---) click on everything to find the keys, etc., to get out of the room. :)
  17. From 1975, to 1985 -- ROA was the plan. I still think of that -- from time to time. The early years were the good ones. 1985 -- Docvic's memorial -- I drove onto the *grounds* -- and knew it would be my last time there. Ever. Now ROA is gone. They might claim to be *biblical research, and teaching* -- but the *fellowship* aspect I knew many years ago --- is long gone. :(

I love that tune. :B) George was always my *fave* Beatle, Roy had a voice that didn't quit (4 octave range!!) And Dylan was born in a house 5 blocks from mine. (Really!) Glad you liked it. :) Meebe George and Roy knew something we didn't -- when it was recorded. :(
  19. *Deforestation* -- is happening -- as we speak -- in the BWCA. (Boundary Waters Canoe Area) north of Grand Marais Minney-soda. (From the local paper -- Duluth News Tribune --) The thing that has all worried -- is that the fire is approaching a *blow down* area. The blow-down (of 1999) left literally millions of trees flattened by straight-line winds. The local greenies up here cried *FOUL!!* when local lumber companies wanted to go in, and harvest the downed timber. BWCA is a protected wilderness, and NO MACHINES are allowed in there. So, with many millions of board feet of lumber available --- (conservative estimate of the U.S. Forest Service is --- 4,000,000 TREES lost in 1999), AND NOT ONE BOARD FOOT OF THAT WAS HARVESTED, BECAUSE OF RESTRICTIONS! Now -- 7 years later -- all that wood is still there, dry, rotted, and tinder for the fire. And the fire is headed it's way, and it's gonna be a b!tch to contain. (I fought forest fires in So. Cal back in 1977 -- so I know a little where-of I speak So -- Deforestation?????? We had winds blow down 4 million trees here 7 years ago. More are being destoyed by fire -- now. Today. By nature. Again. So -- it happens all the time --- NATURALLY. And the forest, the world, whatever, is better for it. New growth happens after fires go out. New life is re-juvinated (sp?), and things return to normal. Ask any forest ranger -- they will tell you the same. Meebe if there is such a thing as global warming -- it's due to nature -- and not us?? Just a thot!
