I agree, J. Whatever a person might say (reprehensible as it may be), is NOTHING compared to the hate crime that occured in that synagogue. Spewing verbal filth is one thing. Spewing bullets is another. The media is living up to their reputation. They are flying their true colors -- as always. Now if the assasin happened to be blonde, blue eyed and Christian, you can rest assured --- the media would be barely mentioning Mel. But (so as not to derail this thread) I think he's getting wayy too much air time for the *size of the crime*. <_<

Well -- good for you. Think what you will. Who said "there is none so blind, as he that will not see?" You fall into that category. Surely -- choice was involved in many categories, and surely -- coercion was used by twi (cough!!) -- spiritually to realize an end to their *goals*. Twi is being blamed for the things expected of us (followers), that they (headquarters folks) would never do. IMHO -- It's MORE than just a valid complaint. I was told to hitchhike to Lead (1985), and I wasn't even corps. I had a car -- told the leaders to (nemmermind what I told them). Others here -- knuckled under to the *directive*. And YES -- if you didn't hitch to LEAD -- you didn't deserve to be there. I wuz the odd ball in our twig that didn't give a ratzz azz about what leadership thought. Everyone else hitched -- I drove. Had a great time at LEAD -- also without the pressure of hitching. Sadly -- it was cut short by two days -- cause docvic died -- while I was scaling the rocks. Of a certainty -- some things get blown out of proportion -- but to categorically deny that ANYTHING happened --- because you didn't see it, or think it is *skewed*, because of a *hate* for twi means folks like us need to pick up the shovels, and help shovel more sand over your *ostrich* head, that is buried, to evade the truth. Sorry -- Phil -- You make some good points at times, but lately -- sadly -- you're lacking. It's time to pull your head out of the sand, and smell the coffee, or roses. Or whatever. David

I love the Bill Engvall routine from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.

Nope -- that's Psalmie's idea of interior decorating!! Hmmmmmm --- she looks a little pale, and kinda sick. Wonder if she caught the *bird flue* on her latest foray.

We had that here today Shellon, and it looks like it is moving your way. :) I opened the front and back doors this morning, turned on the ceiling fan, and cooled the whole house. We aren't called the *air-conditioned city* for nothing! ;) Jim -- I didn't know that about Subarus. I'll give it a try. Hap -- I miss those old triangular vent windows too.

I use American Family Insurance -- but looking at their site, I see they aren't in your area. Home and auto with them -- and I get a discount because I use the vehicle (occasionally) to transport the clients (my guys) around town. :)

I use a squeegee and windex (when I get in the mood to clean windows). Wipe the squeegee with a paper towel after each *pass*, and you have a clean window. :) (Works the same on the windshield of your car).

OK -- I'm slow as well. I don't get those instructions, at all. I finally just clicked on the right frame all 8 times, and made it to 63%.

Those commercials were filmed on Lake Saganaga (pronounced sag-naw-gaw) at the end of the Gunflint trail out of Grand Marais Minney-soda. Back in 75, I worked for the summer on Seagull Lake (one portage away from Sag by canoe, or 5 miles away by road), and if I recollect correct -- those commercials were made just a year or two previous. One of the locals up there let the Hamms' folks use his dock/ lakefront for the filming, and they rewarded him with who-knows-how-many-gallons of Hamms beer! Me -- I never liked the stuff much either. Being so close to Canada, Molson's was the brew of choice. ;)
