Vinegar on fries???!!!??

My sister Robin (as most of you know), was killed last year in a hit-and-run accident. She was a mother to six, and grand-mother to 3 (at the time), and was 44 years old. Her oldest child is 27, her youngest is 12. Last week, a plea agreement was made, and though I am not too happy about it, here is the story from the Bloomington Indiana Herald Times (Wednesday August 23, 2006) concerning what is happenening -- with the case. So -- there are the facts of the case (for those of you that have asked), though there is no mention of of his being drunk at the time, nor is there mention of his domestic rage at his wife that precipitated this entire episode. Mr. Moore can thank his *lucky stars* that I am not closer, and that the cops got to him first. Robin -- (bless her heart) -- would be the first to say -- "We all make mistakes". I wish I could say that sincerely ~~~~~~~~~~~~

I hear ya! I hear ya! I hear ya! (Did I mention I hear ya?) I do the same with the *five*. 3 fingerpicks, a five string banjo, and an attitude all on my front porch. GREAT ACOUSTICS there. Wonderful place to get out frustrations. Fast and furious, loud and raucous, down and devil-may-care. It's a catharsis. :) I've noticed (recently) folks walking on the OTHER side of the street when I am in one of my moods.

And I'll agree with your premise, RumRunner. Didn't mean to disagree in THAT respect. What I see as the main difference (thus the declaration by twi that the internet is *evil*), is that the internet is something they cannot control, can't sell in their bookstore, etc. How many folks have ignored the many versions of the bible (other than KJV), simply because twi uses KJV, and no other version?? Lots. I know I did. And that is just using the example of the bible, and not even scratching the surface when it comes to other printed material. But since twi is in the business of printing their own material in book form, and selling it it for a fat prophet (scuze me ^^^COUGH^^^ -- I meant to say *profit*), they can't declare books evil. :)

Hey there RumRunner. :) Don't know about you, but I don't have time to write a book. I do, however, have time to post about the negative experiences I had with a certain cult. Internet goes where books fear to tread (or are unable to) because of the brevity of the post, and it's "availability" at the same time -- being *published* instantly. Get enough folks posting about the over-riding negative characteristics of a certain outfit, and soon enough -- that's what will show up on the internet first and formost. I haven't tried it, but I'd bet if you googled twi -- GSCafe would come up first! Folks are gonna read our posts before they read Karl's book, and with good reason. We are accessible to them right now in their living room and Karl isn't. Books expose too, but how many folks are going to fork over cash to buy a book that promotes an opposing viewpoint, just to see if it is right or not? Not many. But how many folks will click on a site that offers opposing info? a whole lot more will do so -- cause it's FREE!! It's easier to read a bunch of posts, than it is a book. ;)
