Ahhh -- like the Word -- I'm guessing, eh? ;) Word -- sometimes what is NOT written is more important than what IS written. Music -- sometimes what is NOT played is more important than what IS played. Performers gotta *rightly divide* the strings, notes, licks, and NOT play that which is most important! Performers --- Ascertain yer audience. *Note* which ones will Bb, and which will C natural. Play for the ones who will C#, and B#. (pick over the latter crowd for future groupie *staff*).

  6. To test the theory, 100 men drank 8 pints of beer each within a 1 hour period. It was then observed that 100% of the test subjects: (Lessee -- a pint is 16 ounces, therefore it's equal to 1 1/4 *12 ouncers* found in cans.) 8 pints equal (the equivalant) of 10, 12 ounce beers. Drinking 10 of them, is one (can of beer) every 6 minutes -- for an hour. Now -- points one through eight --- 1) Argued over nothing. am surpised they were even coherent. 2) Refused to apologize when obviously wrong. surprised they could even recognize an *arguement*. 3) Gained weight. probably from the *water weight* of beer, and the peanuts from the bar. 4) Talked excessively without making sense. in vino, veritas 5) Became overly emotional. depressed folks, drinking, and listening to country music will often *cry in their beer*. 6) Couldn't drive. DUHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! 7) Failed to think rationally hard to think *solid thoughts*, when yer brain is waterlogged. 8) Had to sit down while urinating. surprised they could still stand. No further testing was considered necessary that was a test??? sounds like a college fraternity party!! after drinking all that beer -- (and if there were women present), I bet they tried to be members of *I Phelta Thigh*

  9. Hey there Mstar -- this sounds familiar to me as well. My ex was (is) really into weaving, spinning, embroidery, tatting lace, crocheting (sp?) -- you name it. She loved the poiema stuff, and as a librarian -- she also had the tendency to *cross-reference* a lot of verses found in the sns tapes about the topics she was interested in. A big one for her was color. I do remember that she had some sort of color book she used when choosing color *organizing* for whatever weaving she was working on. Now -- that color book thing I mentioned may or may not be the book you are talking about, but given her penchant for all things twi (back then -- she's out now too), I wouldn't be surprised if she had that book. When she moved out of the house here, she left all the twi books behind, and they are still here. But if she had that book, it would have been the one that she would have taken with her. She doesn't live far from me -- and I do want to call her sometime soon, about other stuff. I'll make it a point to ask if she has heard of it, or has a copy. Will let you know what she has to say. :)

Gen 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. Gen 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth [upon] the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. Gen 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. Gen 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, [which is] the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. :) (And now that I think of it ------------- that every MOVING thing surely is evident on FEAR FACTOR!)

Ala -- You were hopping (walking) by the spirit that night. You've mastered pfal -- (Photos For Ala's Library). You've taken your camera where cameras fear to tread, and allowed it to *take part* (koinoneo -- sharing fully), in a mountain top experience!! You MUST'VE had your wants and needs parallel. You seemingly successfully confronted the constrictive law of *be-leaving* (As in --- I won't be-leaving my camera at the gate!) NO WAY were they going to take those fire engine red drapes (cough!!) -- that camera away from you! Congrats! Were you wearing a NO FEAR T-shirt, as you faced the adversary at the gate? We applaud you for TAKING A STAND!! (though you were probably SITTING MUCH as well) both before the concert, and during the performance also. (Bullinger) "Tell me what you believe about stadium security -- and I'll tell you how far you can take your camera inside!" (Ps -- being in Canada and all -- did you see a vision of fiddlehead ferns growing through the snow?? And hear a voice saying -- I'll let you take pictures such as has not been seen since Cream??) Now -- the truth of a prophet --- AHEM! (photographer), is if their prophecies ---AHEM! (photos) turn out. Can't wait to see if you're a true prophet -- photographer!!

  18. Krys -- I realize that the *blue jean* discourse (sp?), has NOTHING to do with the drug question. I was addressing the OTHER issue, about being ethical, and fair.

  21. I'm a tee-shirt and blue jeans type of guy. My idea of *dress-up* is a shirt with buttons on it. I get my tee-shirts at bluegrass festivals, and I get my jeans at Walmart. I buy the Wrangler jeans -- for $14.94 per pair. Down the street they are 6 to 10 dollars more. Same jeans , same brand, still made in Mexico (out of US fabric), but higher priced. Now -- if there was an American company producing these jeans (on OUR soil, with OUR labor), I wouldn't hesitate for a minute spending more money on them. But sadly -- that isn't being done. Even Red Wing boots (Red Wing, Minney-soda), are now (mostly) made over-seas. I don't know where the *generic drugs* that Walmart will be offering are made, but the mentality of getting the *same thing* for cheaper is what needs to be dealt with. Don't get me wrong -- I don't like the *stranglehold* Walmart has on the Mom and Pop business's, (sp?) But if they can offer a product for less -- that's where folks will go. and sadly -- it seems the employees (COUGH!) ASSOCIATES bear the brunt of this, with smaller wages, no benefits, etc.
