YIdon't --- tell that to Dooj, and Rummie!! :)
  5. Medic -- thanks. She did kinda *disappear* soon after she started posting. Praying that all is well. Harumpppph!! You are now the new MOG --- Medic On Guard!!! Don't pray for us - we need to pray for you!! (Uhhhh --- where do we send the *abundant sharing* to???)
  6. Ha!! Reminds me of something I heard Robert Earl Keen say once --- (Could be wrong, but I think it was on Austin City Limits --- ) He was commenting on being a folk singer, vs. a country singer. He said "When yer a folk singer, people invite you to parties, and serve you a bowl of LENTILS AND RICE!!" But -------------------- if yer a COUNTRY SINGER, They invite you over for BBQ, and WHISSSSSKKKEYYYYYYYYY!!. Sorry -- guess this was , but it sparked a memory. ;)
  7. What the Hey and Allan -- howdy. :) You both made a coupla good points ----- 1) Docvic put it all together; 2) Docvic taught manifestations, not gifts. Both statements are just as true as the air I breathe --- BUT --- air (especially these days) tends to be polluted, and so were his methods. He surely taught manifestations instead of gifts -- but where did he get it? He *put it all together* -- but where did he get it?? This point has been hashed and re-hashed ad naseum. Docvic took teachings from other ministries, He *made them his own*, he *mastered them*, and then copyrighted them as HIS work. He wasn't honest. He copyrighted other folk's research, and work. Now -- don't get me wrong -- I remember as well as you do, how he said he learned from so and so, and so and so, and so and so. Big deal. Did all of the *so and so's* receive monetary remuneration for the work they did, that he used in his *classes*, and made big bucks off of?? I don't think so. He took their work, and said it was his. Docvic was a thief. He offered us stolen goods, and we paid *top dollar* for them. Meebe we should liken him to Robin Hood -- stealing from the rich, to give to the poor. For all his *noble motives*, Robin Hood was a thief. And he wore twi green as well. :(

So -- another question ------------------------- Are eggs used for cheesecake at all? If they are -- then you (each) might want to save one -- so the Victor (shudder!!) can break it on the loser's forehead, and the loser will have *egg on their face*. :) :)
  9. :( :( :( Sadly -- I could find inner peace, should this question be answered --- "Ma'am -- Do you you know the owner of a large, yellowish-orange, VERY FLAT CAT????????????? (Snifff!)
  10. For the record ~~~ I send a small donation to CES/STFI monthly for their websites. What they do with that money is THEIR BUSINESS. I don't hold them accountable to prove to me that they spent it on Truth Or Tradition. Now -- They also have a *class*, available on tape/cd/whatever. I've never taken that *class*, nor have I been to a CES/STFI fellowship. Nor has that *class* been "pushed" as a prerequisite, before you can *Move further with the Lord* -- or some such thing. If one chooses to buy it/ and run it -- it's theirs. No strings attached. If CES/STFI were to *franchise* their teachings and the *class* as Geer has done, I would drop them like a hot potato. I have ZERO USE for folks who are in it to make a buck or two. I respect integrity, and and I respect honest work. I also respect those who try to work the Word. Some here will say that CES is a splinter group --- mouthing docvic-ism's with a new slant. Maybe -- but they DON'T *franchise* their teachings to the highest bidder. With CG *marketing* his "business via the Word", says volumes to me.

Kinda , but I have a question. With 30 *for sures*, and 15 *maybes* in attendance ~~~ How big are these cheesecakes going to be?? After all -- EVERYONE has to get a slice of each of them, for the judging to be fair and impartial -- right?? (You can't just take the word of another man -- ie - *judge*.) So -- how large are these things going to be??? Eh?? (Gotta make sure NO ONE gets MISSED!) ;)
  12. Well -- this isn't the *mattress thread* -- BUT IT SAYS A LOT!
  13. HURRICANE I am in no way *prosyletizing for Geer*, but he's running a business, NOT a ministry. As soon as folks realize that, you'll see him in his true light. He's collecting a paycheck -- nothing more. Anyone who is *blessed* to give to him -- go right ahead. It's yer money. Spend it where you wish.
  14. Makes sense to me too -- if you're talking about the Sermon On the Mount. Methinks that was one of the few *classes*, that were annointed. (Ps -- the same Teacher taught the other annointed *classes* as well, and they didn't cost money, nor were they three weeks long, and no one was required to wear nametags. And ya didn't have to have taken any of the previous, to attend the one you were interested in. Nor did they have to hear Beautiful Jerusalem while going to *class*!) ;) And due to the diligence of one such attendee (mini-corps kid - who successfully budgeted for *snacks*), all those who couldn't come up with snack money, were fed anyway. Ahhhh -- I wish *classes* were run like they used to be!!
  15. October 11th/12th, 30 degrees outside, and snow coming down. We are supposed to get several inches of it today -- but I doubt it. Still -- tonight I got out the long-johns. :( So long summer/ warmer weather -- See ya next year!
  16. Every time I ever heard Howard teach (live, or on tape), I remembered that I didn't get to bed early enough the previous night --- And promptly fell asleep (physically, NOT biblically -- mind you)!
  17. OK -- Who is Peet??? Here in Minney-soda we have Starbucks, Arco, Caribou Coffee, and other sundry brands. Starbucks French Roast is my favorite -- but I'm open to *instruction in righteousness*! Let them do the work. All I want to do is put in the coffee-maker, and add water. :) (Ps. --- I take all coffee I buy OUT of the original container, and put it in a glass jar with a *screw down cap*, to keep it fresh. Next best thing to freezing it.) :)
  18. Bnis -- Welcome to our corner of cyber-space. We (all) do our *best* to keep it interesting. ;)
