1. Roy -- far be it from me to criticize your writing, spelling, etc. Your signature line says --- That to me is several sentences written as one. I've always read it (in my mind), as ---- Welcome. Sit a while and take your shoes off. Enjoy the Waters of Truth, because here the Water is cool. Your style of writing is unique. Whether it is right or wrong (grammatically), never mattered to me. It is the heart of the message that matters most. :) Thanks for the *heart*. Your's shines.
2. Ironic that Jim sees you as --- "The reality is I do not like you as you are not a person of a healing spirit. Your goal is to create contreversy as you see fit." It surprises me all the more, since the VERY DIVISIVE folks on --- JWO; Thom's Chat; and EXJW, see you in a totally different light. All see you as someone who transcends petty squabbles, the exact opposite of Jim's claim. You bring a freshness to those boards like no one else can. I gave up on the Yahoo board a long time ago. Nice folks, but *not my cup of tea*, so I refrain from posting there. Dunno -- maybe I'm missing something here. To be sure -- I don't know the whole story. But what I CAN SAY (unequivocally) is --- God bless both them, and you!! :)
3. DR. JOSE LUIS DE JESUS AND ~~~ JESUS CHRIST ON THE TODAY SHOW Eschewing *traditional teachings*, Teaching the *only truth*, Called *daddy* by his followers Jesus came to him (no snow on the gas pumps here) Yada, yada, yada, ---- While conveniently avoiding the *tithe* question (gotta pay the bills - dont'cha know). (wonder if this guy was ever in Ohio??) <_< <_<

   (I tried Pineapple Pizza!)
5. For what it is worth -- Dot has it right (IMO). We (faithful followers of twi -- versus followers of Jesus Christ) were told to get rid of ALL MUSIC -- throw out those records!! Toss out anything meaningful to you -- cause it didn't come from us (twi). Art, Books, Music, yer grandma's antique pink tea set, etc. You didn't get it from us -- Therefore it is of THE DEVIL. Devil Spirits -- dont'cha know?? What a wunnerful catch-phrase for them to spout. And then for THIS SCENARIO to take place -- practical joke or not --- totally negates everydamnthingtheysaidtousearlier!!! What the heck was Uncle Harry Day about -- if top brass couldn't do the same?? They gave us the *shoes*, but they couldn't fill them themselves. Flies in the face of what we were told, and what was expected of us -- the *mere believers*. One more example -- of the *Talk* not meeting up with the *Walk*. Yea -- TWI = Talk/Walk/Incompatible. Finally making sense to me.

Hmmmm. Not familiar with MSN at all. I just type in the you-tube url, (using FIREFOX), and go from there.
7. A complete musical scale has 13 notes. (For what it's worth!)
8. Jonny -- you know durn well you were Frankee. Were you the others as well???

The way I do it, is to copy the url, then put --- http://put%20url%20here right after your wording. Or -- you can embed it like Kathy talked about. :) [urlhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpOcgcju9K8]Cry Me A River (I left out the = between url and http - so you could see what it looks like. add the =, and it should be a viable link. :)

Ala -- go to Embedded Videos, in the Computer section. Kathy tells how to do it there. :)
11. The Tigers showed up for the game tonight???
12. Sheesh!! I use *the HOG LICK* on the banjo all the time. I use *the KENNY BAKER LICK* every time I play Sally Goodin, on the fiddle. I shamelessly use the *FLATT RUN* on guitar, when backing up others in a jam. I copy others all the time -- when playing music. Key word here is COPY. Yes -- I use the *musical passages*, as does every other bluegrass musician, and; Notta one of us USAGING said material would ever DARE claim we *invented it* It takes someome *teaching as it hasn't been known* (since whenever). To make total mockery out of a perfectly viable concept. Big difference. Utilizing what others have come up with is cool -- but don't claim it is your work, when it isn't. Now -- why didn't docvic do the same??? Hmmmm? Methinks he was picking preaching in the key of E --- for Ego.
13. If that little guy keeps working out like that --- He will never be a JUMBO SHRIMP! :P
14. Yea -- they may not be much to look at on the outside --- but they look a little nicer on the inside. :) Back of the truck ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Front of the truck Inside facing the back of the truck Inside facing the front of the truck Sleeping loft, over the driver's cab. Featured in the book Rolling Homes, by Jane Lidz.
15. I'd really rather have one of these!!

Chas --- I couldn't believe my earballs!! (woops -- way-speak!!! CHANG! CHANG! CHANG!] Sound the alarm!! Someone send the BLESS Bass Patrol to clean up this portion of the thread!!! Seriously -- really great stuff!! (speaking of musicianship ---) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDJMusqUHOI...ted&search= Socks -- I think you nailed it right on the head. There's always someone out there that no one has ever heard of that hands down will blow (pardon the pun), the SOCKS off of anyone listening with their picking abilities. ;) Lord knows I've run into that at fiddle contests. All the *greats* are there, and you are intimidated by seeing their name on the roster as a contestant. Then you go into a back room to run through your tunes and practice, and you hear the sweetest music coming from a room down the hall. You go to investigate which *great* is practicing, and you find a kid. 16 years old, 14 years old, I've seen em as young as 10 doing stuff better than I, and they've only been playing for a few years, versus my 30+ years. :( There is always some one better. And as you said -- I'm glad to *own* my music. As I get older, it's a comfortable feeling knowing I can do SOME stuff, and will never be able to do ALL stuff. Rocking chairs must've been invented for us to sit back, and listen to the new talent, and enjoy what is coming down the pike ---- and think --- *Ahhhhhh -- to be young again, and know what I know now!!*
18. You were probably fed Indian Turnip, or more commonly known as Jack-In-The-Pulpit. I've touched the root to my tongue once, but never ate it. It burned like the dickens. Ironic that a plant called *Jack-In-The-Pulpit, that would torture the participant, was used for this *communion service*. Guess docvic was warped in more ways than one (or two, or three), eh? <_< <_< <_<

What amazes me the most -- on the Amazing Grace video --- is his use of harmonics ------- (where do you find them - that low down on the neck???), and his ability to add the bass line behind it all. He's thinking two different things all at once. And it comes out as a complete song.
