Waysider -- I wish I knew how to play fiddle too!! Papa John -- what can ya say? He certainly hung out with a great crowd!! Wasn't into his work so much in my younger years (being the Bluegrass Junkie and all), but learned to appreciate his stuff later in life. Hey -- here's a clip of Jorma Kaukonen doing *Prohibition Blues*, with Sam Bush on fiddle, Jerry Douglas on slide, Byron House on bass, and Bela on banjo (first clip only). Before you look at it, look at ----------->>>>>
  2. Hey Jonny -- My apologies to you too. Sorry I flew off the handle at ya. Yup -- I read the warning, but opened the link anyway. You thought it was funny, I didn't care for it. Difference of opinion. Nothing more. I should of left it at that. David

    End of the Road

Vegan -- I'm not *hurting*. Just state-ing a fact!. :) Like I said -- I've been alone for 26 years. I've kinda got to the point where I like it. It would take a VERY SPECIAL SOMEONE to be a part of my life. So far -- I have not met that person. I wonder if she even exists?? I (personally) don't feel *down*, for not having yet met this lady, and when I do meet her -- she would have some major adjusting to do. (I've been told I'm crusty --- etc.) I'm willing to change -- (to a certain degee), but there's two sides to each equation.

    End of the Road

Sogwap --- I have been alone for 26 years now. Few friends, no one that I could call on in time of need. Yea --- I feel that way also. If I died tomorrow -- no one would know (except my work place). END OF THE LINE is a favourite tune of mine. Despite the fact, that there are a coupla dead *rockers*, singing that song, I'm inspired everytime I hear it. Gives me hope, that someone, somewhere, will figure it all out about me, once I am gone. So I try to live life as best as I can (these days), and don't worry about the future. Maybe a *bad attitude* towards life -- but it's mine.

    ! Update

Cindy!, and Steve!, and all the other !!!!'s ---- Prayers, from me to all you !!!!'s Take care, eh???? David
  6. When did this happen?? I never heard about it, nor did I contribute. What was their timeline, for the *resurrection*? Am guessing it took place *on the grounds*, so none will be invited to the *exhumation*, whenever THAT might take place. Just ask Doug Mc***** about the price for something similar. What happens in New Knoxville, stays in New Knoxville. *Unbelievers* --- not welcome. You are NEVER welcome at the way -- if you've ever fellowshipped with us in the past.

Chas -- there is STRENGTH IN NUMBERS Happy birthday! :)

  12. Hmmmm, meebe. Haven't seen it, so I can't comment. But I did take a look at your AFRICAM POST Tell us --- what *Godly virtue* does your AFRICAM video portray?? Eh??? <_< <_<
  13. I've never even heard of Rocky horror, until these two threads.
  14. Who runs this "et al" spin-off?? And where are they located? :P
  15. Roy --- if you want this thread locked, email Paw, at at pawtuckett@greasespotcafe.com. I did the same thing, with the thread about my sister's death, and the court ruling there after. Some folks here were interested in hearing about the outcome. and I told them.. But once I told them, I wasn't interested in talking about it any more. I gave out the info, and didn't want to discuss matters, after I did. I did the e-mail thing to Paw, and either he, or a MOD --- locked down the thread -- per my request. Personally -- I think some may have an ax to grind here, but I think you're right. It would be good to let things be. No need for more accusations, be it from the Yahoo group, or from GSCafe.
  16. Mr. Hammeroni -- I be missing ya too!! (You were last here in July, of this year.) Here's hoping life is an exciting adventure for you!! Take care, God bless, and -----
  17. Paraphrasing Tiny Tim --- God bless us all (ex-twi), each and every one!! :) :) :)
  18. As for me, and *my house*, I won't get engaged in a *Board War*. Like I said easlier -- the Yahoo ex-way group isn't *my cup of tea* -- BUT --- That doesn't mean that *cup of tea*, isn't potable for someone else. If folks find support there, fine. If it helps folks see the errors of twi -- fine. If it gives folks a spot in cyberspace to vent about twi injustices -- great. If it gives them a spot to *fellowship* -- wonderful. If their *fellowship* doesn't include doctrine, or preaching -- so be it. Board rules are just that --- Rules. I stand by my original post, about Roy NOT being healing, but rather a divisive poster. It's too bad all can't see that. Like someone else said -- he is consistant. It's too bad that our common background; or common future; has become a battlefield; due to private interpretatioin. (I include mine as well). Maybe WE CAN LET IT BE, EH?
  19. Linda -- HERE'S a link to that story. Pain and suffering??? Ok -- let him face a firing squad then. Let him face that which he himself meted out. A bullet is quick, merciless - and I bet his skull isn't too thick for one to penetrate. Pain and suffering my @**!! What does he think he caused?? Hmmm? Guess he IS INSANE, if after causing it all in the first place -- and feeling like he should be exempt from the same for himself now. I'm sorry it took this long for **JUSTICE** to *grease the skids* under him, and finally send him to his *long home*, just like he sent those others, many years ago.

    Yay!!! Ya got it!
  21. Ps. --- Shellon, I could be wrong, but I think that Ex-WayWorld, Is Pat Rob*rg*'s site. :)
  22. Abi -- It's not?? That link leads to the ex-way site I was thinking of, but in order to join -- one has to have a Yahoo account. Looking over the rules listed on the page Vegan's link lead to, I see that: I can see how Roy mighta broken the rules with THAT one!! ;) But that still doesn't absolve the owner's accusations of not being a *healing spirit*, over an autobiography that Roy posted. Click Vegans link, and at the bottom -- there is a *JOIN THIS GROUP* button. If you have a Yahoo acount -- I guess that gets you into the page where you can join these guys. Look Out!!! INCOMINGGGG!!!! http://us.a2.yahoofs.com/groups/g_67725/.H...rYxBQFBM52NlAnR

I think that MSN player thing is different, and you need to download it to your computer. I've seen that before on some videos advertised, and couldn't play them, since I haven't tried to download the software yet. Not sure about that, but that's my *suspicions*. :) 3 User(s) are reading this topic (0 Guests and 1 Anonymous Users) 2 Members: socks, A la prochaine Hey!!! We've got us a band! OK -- I give up. What's this *Fargo Movie* everyone is talking about?? Is it a movie about Fargo, North Dakota?? And if it is -- Socks -- you said there was some mighty fine fiddle in it. I'm betting that was John Lardinois (sp?) (pronounced lar din wawh), whiz kid fiddler from North Dakota. I met him at a fiddle contest here in Minney-soda, and he is a prime example of the *younger talent* I mentioned in the earlier post. Mater of fact, when I met him -- he was 17 or 18 at the Cotton Fiddle Contest, and he was one of the one's practicing down the hall from me, producing that sweet music I mentioned.
