  1. Who's the guy on the extreme right of the picture?? Part of the family too, or someone passing by your table there? ;) Great photo, and Merry Christmas to you all too. :)

What else?? A coupla good cigars to complement the scotch! ;)
  3. I chose to delete my birthday from this site. It was a coupla months ago -- (but I'm being deliberately vague here). I kinda like that option. :) Too bad we can't delete, or edit posts made after 12 hours. :asdf:
  4. CW---yer ok with me. Always have been, and always will be. ;)
  5. CW --I know you do. I was referencing other folks. (Ps -- I was gonna say something here, but it wouldn't be profitable.) Love ya --don't want to argue. :)
  6. Dooj -- I (for one) won't beat you. Yea -- I am saddened by those who have never had anything to do with CES, making comments detrimental to the heart of those who started it. If you've never heard BB King play, but are a fan of the blues -- (please) don't offer a commentary on his rendition thereof. Same thing -- you know not whereof you speak. I for one am glad this came out in the open, as I had no idea about it. And yes -- I can do without all the *snide* comments about CES, and the cheap comparisions made to twi.
  7. Unless you are an atheist, this might be a good time to pray for all involved. I will do so now. Good night all, take care, and remember who is in contol over all.
  8. Double post -- Sorry about that. :(
  9. Shucks -- I'll share a story here, that is already on the GSC, (but don't ask me what thread --- I don't remember). On a lark -- I called *headquarters* (same number as in my previous post), as I was curious if there were any twigs/ fellowships/ whatever in my area. I was also curious about the *believer* population here in Minney-soda. Once the voice at the other end of the phone had my name correct --- They pulled up all the info they had on me, from 20 some years ago. They knew everything immediately, yet told me that they would contact my *area* leader, who would in turn get hold of me. Now I ask you --- twi bills itself as an OUTREACH ministry. Why the secrecy? Why the lack of openess? Veiled phone numbers, no e-mail address, no direct info to them, Why didn't they say --- *call so and so, at this number*? Twi is deceitful, manipulative, and downright evil. There isn't an honest bone in the folks who are at the helm of it right now (imo). Moryan -- you do what you have to do, but some of us have been there before-- and that includes the recent past, as well as the distant past. Twi has remained the same. We've moved on. They have not. Good luck in your decision.
  10. B as in *B*, and S as in *S*. (look up schizophrenia in the dictionary, eh?)
  11. Had to break that up into paragraphs for my old eyes. (Much easier to read now). Oh -- and also --- if you don't want to write *snail mail* letters, pick up your phone, and hit the numbers (419) 753 2523.
  12. Starting to match the keyboard, eh?? :)
  13. Chas -- both yes and no to this (imo). I see your point, but by the same token they were also testing new waters. (NOT that I am condoning this latest fiasco). For what it's worth -- my impression of the folks in CES is one of "Let's see what other ministries have to offer". In other words -- breaking out of the twi box we were all in. Which is a GOOD thing, and given their experimentation/ curiosity -- they found, promoted, and had to reject a few *doctrines* as a result. Back in the mid to early 1990's, they ran across a guy named Greg Pharis who promoted the Personal Prophecy thing. He was/ is a staunch Baptist. Regardless of that, he was willing to travel with JAL (however briefly) to teach about it. I met him here in Minney-soda at a meeting hosted by Vic Barnard (Grand daughter can tell you all about vic b.) :( and he (Greg) was most gracious to all, even though he thought differently doctrinally speaking. CES and Greg went separate ways, since Greg couldn't get over the JCING issue. (that is what I've heard about this one). Momentus was being abandoned by CES at that time, since it was determined that it caused more hurt than help. So --blowing hot, then cold?? Meebe. But maybe it's like walking too when you're trying to find your feet. That's how I have seen it. Trying to find what others have to offer is more than twi ever did. To be sure -- yer going to get a bad apple from the orchard occassionally, but at least you are looking for good fruit. Again -- This new news is disturbing to me. This transcends the bounds of *trying to find your feet*. It is entering the field of M & A, and I don't like that.
  14. This is as predictable as the sun rising in the east, and setting in the west. And you can bet your bottom dollar twi won't *snail mail* THIS info. <_<
  15. I'm thinking about it now. FYI-- my donation to CES is specifically for the two websites they have. My support goes to Truth or Tradition.com, and Biblical Unitarian.com. I'm thinking that my money was not hijacked to line someone's pockets. And I can't comment about John S, and what he might have/ or might not have known, since I've never been directly involved. Given the circumstances (reading them here), I'm guessing he wasn't able to input like he would have liked to. But --- that's just another IMO.
  16. Tom --- yes. I was never aware of a prophetic council, although I was/ am aware that *personal prophecy* might still be a part of CES fellowships. As I said -- I've never been to one, so I can't comment as to that aspect. This *prophetic council* is new (and disturbing), to me.
  17. Like I said --- scroll back a a page or two. I'm not rank and file of CES.
  18. Tom -- scroll back a page or two. You'll see this is new info to me as well.
  19. Jonny -- yes it was. And as pertains the *sales* aspect -- the books I've bought from them were reasonably priced, (NOT $100.00 per book, like Walter is offering for sale). I've been to the CES office many times, when in Indiana. It's small, cramped for space, but they do with what they have. If they were *all about money* -- they might have had a *docvic* type of building, but they don't. In my experience with CES -- it has never been about the money. Had it been, I wouldn't have stuck around.
