  1. Two answers to your comment/ and question; I understand it it is to their *advantage* to keep folks such as myself in the *dark*, while they figure out administrative arguements. What I am PO'd about is something that I posted earlier (I forget where now) -- IS THE LEAST THEY COULD DO IS SAY WE HAVE ISSUES HERE! PLEASE PRAY FOR US. And did I hear that plea --- NO! and no -- I haven't sent anything to other CES'er's. I know none of them. I've been quite detached from CES, other than supporting them in some of their endeavours. But since I have supported them in the past, and given all that has been recently *come to light*, I would have AT LEAST expect some sort of info, if nothing else than a prayer request. But even that wasn't forth-coming. :(
  2. JPT --- I met him once -- at his place in the mid- 1990's there in Minneapolis. (He hosted a meeting that JAL and Greg Pharis came to -- ie -- Personal Prophecy)). Look up granddaughter (on this site), if you you're looking for an accurate, up-to date description, of what he is up to. She is *close to home*, and could answer better. It wasn't pretty back then, and I'm sure it's worse now -- but that's an IMO.
  3. Well -- perhaps. I'm here for myself, as well as others. I want to know what is going on. And I'm finding info here at GSC. Seems like one learns more from GreaseSpot by accident, than from elsewhere by design. I've yet to hear from CES about this whole matter (e-mail, snail mail, phone call, whatever), and I'm one of their *partners*. <_< <_< <_<
  4. Hiya Mr. H. I saw the new *look* the other day -- but now I'm seeing the Morse Code Key that you used to have. What's up with that? Did you change it back? (Meebe my computer can't handle -------------------->>>>>>>>>>> 450 pounds of buldging (bulging), scintillating muscle (?) and seething rage, it is Angel Death.
  5. Garth --Ask and ye shall receive. (please notice -- at least one of these two is a monkey, and maybe both, since they are BOTH conversing with each other. .
  6. I didn't get past the gunshot to the head. Probably true enough over all -- but more *graphic* than I care to see. Thanks anyway for the link..

I usually don't get, or give gifts on Christmas. But this year I decided to splurge and get a second set of those WONDERFUL violin strings, for my best fiddle. I put them on over the holidays, and he/ she/ it sounds better than ever before. Now my quandry is -- was the gift for me, or the fiddle??
  8. Abi -- good post. Perhaps I should add that (as I understand it), $5,000 is spent by CES to print and mail out their bi-monthly magazine THE SOWER, which is sent out to those on their mailing list. Imo -- I would have rather had them forgo the magazine, and spend the money already allocated for it to let folks (such as myself), know what was REALLY going on. But that wasn't done. It would have been a treat to hear some REAL knowledge of ministry affairs, instead of the *feel good* letters from folks in foreign countries, and the constant positive reports of the seminars that have been run. Now -- with that being said -- here is a quote from the latest issue of THE SOWER; Nov/Dec 2006 issue, page 3, authored by Mark Graeser --- I'm reading M & A for everyone except himself. I appreciate the fact that if there are local problems -- of any nature -- you deal with them locally. Granted --it's no one else's business. But if there are problems that have gone unresolved, such as these -- the entire *ministry* needs to know, if true accountability means anything. As far as I am concerned, the above two paragraphs (veiled as a "teaching*) hint at problems, but neither specifically mention them, nor address them --- All the while *solidifying* MG's position as Prez. The very least that could have been done is say -- "We've got some issues here. Please pray for us." And I didn't even hear that. But I did get the mag in the mail last month. :(
  9. The pastor of a church needed to raise money to remodel the fellowship hall. He tried for months and months to raise the money, but nothing seemed to be working. Finally one Sunday he told the congregation that whomever gave the largest donantion, they could pick out their three favourite hymns. The offering plate was passed around. Looking into the plate he saw the largest bill he could ever dream of receiving. He asked who gave it. Finally from the back row, the oldest female parishioner raised her hand. The pastor told her to come up to the front and pick out her three hymns. Once at the front she looked at all the handsome men in the congregation, pointed, and said --- I want HIM, HIM, and HIM!!

Just saw that on the *In Memorium* Forum, by Mark. O'
  12. For what it's worth --- From my distant/ partner perspective of CES/STF -- the org has had always seemed to be forthcoming about new things they were learning. Sadly -- they were not as forthcoming with the present internal problems. While quick to admit that teachings they've promoted in the past, were in fact not correct according to new things learned -- it's a shame (imo) that *correction* couldn't be done in other areas as well. Especially in this area -- where folks are directly impacted in their personal lives. Now -- I am neither condoning nor condemning them as an org. They've got problems. Your guess is as good as mine, as to how this will end. And may I mention/ define my use of the word *org*. Any group is an organization -- an org. And all orgs come from somewhere -- each one has a history. This one happens to be an offshoot of twi, so it's immediately suspect to some. Well -- good. As it should be. Given the principal initiators of CES -- healthy doubt is a GOOD thing. Question a lot, get out the knife to dissect, and have at it. Do the same with the org of your choice. Do I need an org to help me walk the Christian walk better?? NO. Neither do you, nor does anyone else. But many of us have chosen an org to follow after our exit from twi. And that's whether it's *this denomination* or *that denomination*. If you have involved yourself in a church/ denominatiion (regardless of persuasion), you are following an org, which (by definition) has little difference than CES. Now -- are there no problems in your org? Are there no *burning issues* that have been hidden in a back closet somewhere? There's no history of wrong-doing at all? Paw said it best -- This is something that needs to be addressed. And ya ain't a'gonna do it by tearing down someone else's house. (Ps -- this is going to be my one and only response to this thread. I would rather pray/ think good thoughts/ whatever for those directly involved.) As always --- this is just my IMO. I hope some take it to heart.

Odd that you'ld put "French" in the subtitle, and then denigrate their mustard.
  14. I'm outta here. CK makes as much sense as And I don't think I'll be back. (Rememeber CK -- not a slam here. Only an honest observation) (edited for punctuation)
  15. It's a *balmy* 25 degrees here, blue sky, bright sun, and not a flake of snow on the ground.
  16. Mustard would be a different topic/thread. As in Dijon, or yellow?? ;)
  17. Resurrecting this from THE SOAP OPERA FORUM for ckm: Spelling and grammar are the least of your *issues* (imo), but they merit looking at and remedying. But --- only if you want folks to take your verbosity seriously. :)
  18. HA! This is reminding me of the pizza wars. ;)
  19. With no cream in the kitchen the chef must've yelled at his assistant "Oh hell man!! Just get me some olive oil instead!"
  20. The egg salad probably slides down faster with the WD40. :)

May the Force pick with you. Merry Christmas to all y'all too. :)
  22. No. Ck is in Ohio (if I recollect correct), and Mike is in San Diego. Also -- Ck is a young'un (20 or so years old), and Mike is mid 50's. To Mike's credit --- Ck can't hold a candle to the docvic/ pfal stuff like Mike does. Mike actually referrences books, etc., while Ck just spews hate. Fer what it is worth --- I would rather listen to Mike any day of the week. At least with him, I know where the topic will go, and what to expect of the thread. CKM -- this isn't a slam. Was just answering a question. I promised to be nice -- remember? ;)
