Letter from John Lynn
dmiller replied to Jeff USAF RET's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
Pond -- I'm not sure what you're getting at, so I'll not guess. (Don't want to add my *PI* into the mix). My point was merely to show that he will talk with folks. Giving out a phone number (as well as an e-mail address), kinda gives me the impression that he's not afraid to talk. Reminds me of back when (in the Doctrinal section), Alan was following Templelady around, *dissing* Mormonism, and accusing her of hiding behind an anonymous screen name. She responded by posting her real name and address, under her screen name, which shows up in every post she makes. I guess she's not willing to talk to folks about Mormonism either, eh? (PS --- Mr. H. --- You made a coupla good points in your post after Pond's there.) -

Busting a gut here laughing!!!! :biglaugh:

Maybe you could ask them instead of me. I'm not qualified to answer for their statements. Personally -- I've won a few fiddle contests, and never "gave God the glory", when I was presented with my trophy. And yes -- I hear you loud and clear ---- I'd also rather have God dealing with hospitals, and NOT the football field.

I guess so. There's horses all over the bible, but durned if I can remember much about bears. Anyway -- I was just repeating what the owner of the team, and Tony Dungee said, when receiving the trophy. ;)

Heh Heh Heh!! And the credit was given to God!! :biglaugh:

But if you have real money -- you (and 12 of your friends), could've gotten a luxury booth, for a mere $14,000 --------------------------------- each!

That poor robot -- driven to suicide, because it couldn't grasp the *nuts and bolts* of life! ((sniff!))

Forgot to say THANKS for this explanaton. I see *discrepancies* in acoustic instruments, but not the electric ones.

Hmmm. A teaching about *Abundant Sharing* would've been appropriate!!!

(They're getting younger and younger!) Thanks Socks -- No, I've not heard of her before. Jubilee used to air here (PBS channel), but it got replaced with something else several years ago. She's 10 years old??? Can only imagine what she's gonna be like at 12, 15, 18, etc.!!! Interesting fact -- Lonesome Fiddle Blues (first played, and made famous by Vassar Clements), was written by his wife Millie. I'm thinking it hit main-stream America when it got released on the WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN album the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band did with a bunch of Nashville Grand Old Opry stars back in the 1970's. Another interesting fact about this tune -- Charlie Daniels got hold of Vassar and got permission from him and Millie to use the tune Lonesome Fiddle Blues as the basis for his (probably) MOST successful song -- THE DEVIL WENT DOWN TO GEORGIA. Listen to the Devil Went Down To Georgia -- and you can hear Lonesome Fiddle blues all over it, with adaptations for the lyrics, etc. .

Hey Dan -- sorry -- didn't mean to sound facetious. I hear ya about that statement you made. That's why I'll be getting hold of (either) Jal, or John. S., and get info from the source. For what it is worth -- (imo) John S. is best with books, not orgs.
