Yup! If you've got a machine with cylinders -- it can be fun. :) If all you have is a shovel -- it's not so fun. :(

LAE -- I'm not sure I remember the great principle either. (At least docvic's version of it --- and I've never heard that mentioned elsewhere). The only thing that comes to mind here (for me at least), is that Jesus certainly "hid the Word in His heart", yet He was still seeking guidance from His Father, as the occassion demanded. That's just an imo, and backed up by nothing other than speculation. Perhaps others who know more will join in, and we can all learn something. :)

LAE --- Yea, neither can I. We got well over three feet of the stuff, on Halloween week, back in 1991. That was more than I care to deal with! Can't imagine 6 feet of snow, all at once.

I'm not taking it TOO hard. I just found out about the concert last thursday, and given his popularity I should've jumped on the chance then to get a ticket, instead of procrastinating until the last minute. I'm guessing he'll be back for another performance in the future. I won't procrastinate then for admittance -- believe you me!!

International Fellowship?

Mr. H. --- with all due respect, you haven't a clue about CES *fund raising*. Granted -- they mention *partnership* with them as an org. They do not now (nor ever have), MANDATED money, (unlike another org you and I are both familiar with). So while you want to liken them to twi in every possible aspect, some of those aspects just don't cut it. 'Nother words -- you know not whereof you speak. So it's better to keep your mouth shut and seem to be a fool, rather than open it and remove all doubt from those to whom you speak. Especially to those of us who are familiar with the *fund raising*, and for the purposes for which it is used. -
What a MOM you are!!!!!!! :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap:

New Book Out Debating TWI Doctrine and Other Controversial Christian Issues

Yes, John Schoenheit's "Son's of God" teaching is very good too. (CES bi-monthly tape January/ February 1993 --- a small exerpt from which can be read HERE). It's always been interesting to me to hear different sides to a discussion (any discussion), and then evaluate for myself. I've never minded hearing opposing viewpoints. Can't make a balanced decision, if you don't. Haven't delved into Patrick's book too much yet, but from what I've seen so far, it has some interesting concepts I haven't thought of before. :) -
No tickets left, for Adrian Legg's gig tonight. :( :( :( :( :( I'm used to just walking in to hear a performance. I should've gone the reservation route this time.

Who is Jack Schitt? For some time many of us have wondered just who is Jack Schitt? We find ourselves at a loss when someone says, 'You don't know Jack Schitt!' Well, thanks to my genealogy efforts, you can now respond in an intellectual way. Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt. Awe Schitt (the fertilizer magnate), married O. Schitt, the owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc. They had one son, Jack. In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Giva Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt. Against her parents' objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout. After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced. Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock, and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt Sherlock. Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt, and they produced a son with a rather nervous disposition named Chicken Schitt. Two of the other six children (Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt), were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens nuptials. The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd, and Horse. Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new Italian bride, Pisa Schitt. Now when someone says, 'You don't know Jack Schitt,' you can correct them. Sincerely, Crock O. Schitt
