Wow, you keep using dollar words like "vociferous" and you might tempt our brother SimonzeCrossworder out of lurking. J. ;)-->

I would agree. There's a few of us out here, Juan. Thanks for the heads up. Oenophile, are you listening????? I'm listening here on Sunday a.m. on his swing session - - focusing on John Hammond. Great stuff. I LOVE jazz, but swing-era music is my absolute favorite. I'm in heaven. J.

Brother Speed: I have family over there in Special Forces and pray for you guys daily. Be well and stay safe. J.

I've been receiving Yon's reports via email for a while now too, Ckeer. Michael Yon is an independent journalist who is in the thick of things in Iraq. The reports are fascinating if you want a real report with no sugar coating. You can either frequent his blog as posted above, or sign up for his email alerts. J.

Hi Rhino --> Glad to see you got in here finally. I'm not 9th Corps - - just an interloper they tolerate :)-->. Come back and visit us in chat sometime. J.

Hey Excie: If you're reading this, do you think you could contact Jim Doop again and ask him to finish his post???? Curious minds would like to know. Thanks. J.

Shell always has rodents at her house that could probably power your puter! J. :D-->

Paw! It's not like living w/o the Internet is like freefalling from a plane with no parachute! You'd survive!!!! Sounds divine, Shell. (and thanks for the advance notice!) J.

I think Hurricane Cappucino would just be a little whirl with some sea foam. J. ;)-->

Ckeer: Excellent insight, as usual. And you are absolutely right in saying God is too big and that we are too small. We so try to box Him up! J.

Hi Wingie! J. -->

Deb, I have no idea what this is about, but is there some reason you can't call TWI directly to talk to "someone from leadership"? Just curious. J.

I can't see the pic. --> J.

Doveman: I applaud you for the courage to stand up for your beliefs and for your willingness to consider that other people have other perspectives. I don't always express my views in ways that are unoffensive to others, altho I do attempt to make the effort to be considerate and compassionate (on my thoughtful, coherent days; lol). But I've been known to inadvertently .... off a few people in my day and always learn a great deal when it's brought to my attention - - even if I have trouble getting to the "message" due to the "delivery". J.

Hey Tom - - ...and they thought our "abuelas" were crazy making tamales and frijole refritos with lard! ha! J. -->

I know this has been a very difficult time for you and your family. Prayers and (((((((((excie))))))) J.

Thanks, Diazbro. I appreciate you speaking up. Yeah, John. Try being a woman AND a minority in business management and see how the cards fall - - I can tell you it ain't just. And try having bi-racial kids - - one of whom while sitting at home on the porch minding his own business was accosted by a prejudiced police officer who just didn't think a kid with a "nice tan" should be sitting out in a predominantly white neighborhood. Yeah, WHMs have it rough! -->

Yes, Stanley was. Quite a few of the 4th Corps women (which Corps Claudetee was), many whose names I can no longer remember except K*atie F*owle. I think K*thy Lochn*r was also. Seems like a few of them were offered ordination (like Naom* Towns*end) and refused it. I didn't know much of the 5th Corps, so cant' recall the women. But there were many in the 1st-5th Corps. Ordaining women seemed to stop with the 6th Corps - - don't think any were - - am I correct Alfakat or Evan or Hope??? Even the ordinations of the men dwindled after the 10th or so. J.

Johnny, not quite as much fun as going to a Gallager show when he's doing the Vegematic. ;)--> J.

Looking forward to seeing the new digs, Paw. Thanks for all the "volunteer" work you and the others are doing. J.

Hi Kit. Yes, the damage seemed to be minimal and praise God for that! We have friends who had just the week of Dennis moved to Pensicola and didn't even lose their power! Please check your PT. Thanks. J.
