  1. It's really a hard question to ask, I think.. what does one do, coming face to face with a Charlatan on the other side of existence.. I've had a lot of dreams.. no, vic was not in any one of them.. no question and answer session.. I've had a couple of dreams like that, with those still living.. no reply yet. Maybe they are still thinking or something..
  2. but to bring it back to topic. Posters here, don't have to worry about topic. On my threads, anyway.. we usually end up in some wonderful place.. just what was the topic.. the vicster. Born again? In way terms.. a free pass to paradise, or the gathering together.. or the third heaven and third earth.. or a free pass beyond the judgment at the lake of fire.. or whatever it i supposed to be.. I don't think so. You'd have to modify too many of the words of Jesus to include him. "come, thou slothful sycophant, existing on the back of others labors.." that's it! You found it..
  3. maybe "rosie the eternally nipping (and barking)".. no, her royal sycophantess doesn't seem to sport a similar name.. vicster. Loyster. husband of Donster? Or is it wife?
  4. "most pathetic" might actually be a good description here.. on a practical level.. one has to believe one's own falsehood at least to the extent that one can sell it..
  5. born again? eternal life? come thou cherished child, into thy eternal reward? You've got to be kidding me.. It doesn't exactly rhyme. But who says it has to..
  6. so.. if the miserable bastard wasn't god on a stick.. what was he? What kind of entity are we dealing with here? *ham passes out lead lined gloves to the other examiners*..
  7. why is it.. that this seems to be some kind of cosmic debriefing.. I mean, we've fought the fight, observed da vicster. the loyster.. da.. I can't think of a rhyming name for the new pres. Now we compare notes..
  8. odds are pretty astronomical, aren't they..
  9. Maybe I should re-phrase that.. in traditional(?) way theology. He is excluded from real *serious* judgement. Other than relinquishing a *few* rewards. heaven bound. "all hell" can't stop him from going. Even himself. assured a *place* on God's right hand. lo shanta..
  10. I mean in the "traditional" way lingo. saved from judgment basically. In the eternal sense. Being SO righteous that it is impossible to sin it out.. no matter what one does.. but the mind is not effected. Or so that is the claim.. so one can be a no good snake in the grass, on one hand, and not one, on the other.. a good friend from my youth was relating some of this "doctrine" to his father. The father steps back a minute, rubs his chin.. and says "it sounds to me like you are using the bible to go to hell.." true story.
  11. so "satan" stands up and says, "he was no good, filthy, one who caused scandal and division among those who believe, a rapist, a false prophet and an immoral arrogant scumbag. " And the Eternal court says.. "is that all you've got? case closed." Really?
  12. I dunno.. to me it looks like a cross between pathology and just plain deliberate lying.. He started out with *little* lies and plagiarism.. as as history progressed he had to fabricate bigger whoppers as he went.. to the extent he even believed quite a bit of it to be really convincing..

but this is only page 5..
  16. Maybe only his hair dresser knows..
  17. are you claiming that you are a witch? to set the record straight, I don't regard pfal a pile of p*gs*it because vic wasn't perfect. I regard it as such because the vicster was a monster, in a human skin. No idea where he got it from.. the skin that is. same old cliche.. that's where I disagree. The moment you take something divine, and slap a cheaply printed, adultery ridden and worse price tag on it, it turns into snake oil. The very moment..
  18. sheesh. It looks like a Squirrel.. a Squirrel.. vs an amoebae..
  19. I loved that link.. I still have a problem with human arrogance.. *they* (the animals) are under our authority.. how many ships could sport the presence of mighty battle cats.. hurray, hurry hurry. be among the first, the few, the chosen.. I've met christians who think they will have panthers at their side.. where are they going to come from? the small inconvenience of having a cat (or even human for that matter..) potty box on the ship would be a small price to pay.. lest you think I am derailing my vewy own thread. The Creator chose to use the names of some of these animals in the stars.. if you think the maintenance of a cat on a voyage to be unacceptable.. us humans are far, far more "messy"..
  20. Yes, I can already give my report as to my own failures, and failings.. I've already done all of that.
  21. so my thoughts are.. he had a couple of years, to plan a way (hiccup) out of his troubles.. so he wasn't "surprised".. or caught off guard. He saw it coming.. and prepared a whole facade of deception.. considering he left his youngest for a year or more with relatives.. no. it wasn't about them.. sorry, I was sent to observe here. I'm sincerely trying to make my observation accurate and all..
  22. perhaps. :) my first thought though is.. if there is no room on the "ship" for the cats in my house, I'm not going. people can be soooo damned arrogant at times..
  23. has anyone discussed this work here? I've started looking it over again. There has to be some relevance to the human (and non-human) soul.. I've been drawn to the section that talks about the constellation cancer, with ursa major, ursa minor (the great and lesser bear) and Argo, the ship.. first of all. If the ship comes, the cats come with me. No negotiation.. I'll do kitty box duty. No need for a "deity" to descend to such a duty.. so down to business. Bullinger talks about the "lesser" (or smaller) flock, the sheepfold and the sheep, and the ship. his claim on page 149 about the ship: "shows the travelers and the pilgrims brought safely home- all conflict over" am I even part of a "flock".. sometimes it really doesn't seem like it.. "everlasting habitation"? I don't know how "user friendly" it will be..
  24. Ha.. well, it would agree with what I saw with the hurredly collected cheap prints of the *official* anthem of da way corps.. what didn't he steal.. I think the lyrics were in the blue song book..
