  1. "Your ABS at WORK" Abortions three ways for MOG shopping sprees for mogette mogette's cat(s!) when others were forbidden.. Partial payment for some people's "bum's rush" out of headquarters.. and a gun to our head, to ensure we didn't complain about anything.
  2. Yep. That's one way of dealing with up and coming mini-mogs.. despicable. And on the surface, they taught using it as birth control was WRONG. On the other side of the mouth though.. whole different side of the universe I guess.
  3. Hooray! I thought maybe got torn out of of known universe or something on the way.. Naughty space ships..
  4. BuT nowHEre else are THEre quiTe so HonorablE piTHy uttErances..
  5. Paid for it?? So now I see another little path MY ABS took..
  6. How sad. And how many MORE were there, we never heard about, never knew about..
  7. Honestly, I can't claim this. I can only attest to the stinking evil I saw in the place from about 1975 onward.
  8. Ah yesss.. but remember, our greatest temptation is between "good and BEST" The BEST thing would be for the organization to abandon archaic, devilish practices, and do "the best" for a change. Perhaps that is only asking too much..
  9. I hope things are better, today..
  10. Even WHOLE FAMILIES were sent out with little more than five-hundred dollars, a Ryder rental truck, and a hearty "see ya, don't wanna be ya".. I have a LOT of evil to lay at the feet of TWI. If the shoe fits, well, perhaps we should stick it on em and see how well it fits. I think TWI's shoes are a lot like poor lil Dorothy's red slippers in the Wizard of Oz.. Can't get em off.
  11. Imagine if they were NOT. Imagine if "they" called your parents, your former twig friends, and you were labelled as a possessed faggot or something.. repugnant as that may sound, those are the very words I heard used of people that abandoned the program.. Imagine the first meeting with your former "friends" in town.. won't shake your hand, cold as ICE... They KNOW where you are, and they're not gonna visit you for love or money.. You're sleeping in your car, if you have one. Some folks ended up in the looney bin..
  12. Some took those devastations "on the road", no home to go back to. Some left WITHOUT WIFE/HUSBAND or FAMILY. You're nowhere NEAR the mark to understand what this did to some- cost at least one guy his life. From my experiences, I can only partially identify with what the guy went through.
  13. Personally, I do. I think it is more than a fair assessment to make.. other people have the same feelings as you after all.. and people are really not so different as some tend to think. What I'm saying is, take what YOU experienced. Add the other factors listed, and you may have a rough approximation of the devastation others felt. Or the loss that was sustained. Go from hopelessness to despair. And some survived in spite of TWI's best efforts.. No, I do not label all the evil in my life as directly due to TWI, only about sixty five to seventy percent. Others here less, some MORE.
  14. People have left that joint living and sleeping in cars for days on end..
  15. The only thing that "saved" me.. I would have gone to extraordinary efforts to stay. I simply saw, at the price they were asking, I simply could not afford the product. I could IN NO WAY come up with the down payment. At the time, it did not make any difference whether or not they were what they claimed to be. No difference- Now, I step back and look at what they were selling. Ptooie. They didn't sell us the "good stuff", they had us smoking buffalo chips..
  16. Ah yes. But what about YOUR experience? Self-admittedly, you would have done practically anything to stay in that hellhole.. same for me. What would life have been like if you had no place to go? No family, no friends? No comfortable bed to sleep in? Just a couple of thoughts. May be a "personal" question, but hey, things are at least a little personal here..
  17. Well. THousands of posts, and no End in site..
  18. Rascal, I think the only difference between you and them.. They were more sinister, devilish, and manipulative with you. Perhaps they had more practice. I'd say God have mercy on their dark souls, but that's not up to me. Only He knows what's what, I guess..
  19. Innies: I wouldn't ask too many questions, If I was you.. But who knows. Might put you on the fast-track out of that place.
  20. And at least one little thing that gave it that kind of power. MOST of us "burned our bridges". No way back.. at least in our minds. For a lot of people, there REALLY was no way back. No job, no house, no support.. Personally, I "burned my bridges", and BARELY lived to tell about it. Some of the stuff, I'm not ready to talk about, yet.
  21. Gads.. this was in the "good old days". You can't tell me vic wasn't on top of this stuff.. it was "his" baby..the corps, that is. 1978. And it just got worse, and worse..
  22. At LEAST one more luxury. A place to go. A place to sleep, comfortably. A place to just sit down and cry. A family to give you full support. These folks, and others, had zero of the above.
  23. NO Under NO circumstances. Not from around here, or my old state, for that matter.. What "others"? The treatment these poor folks got was standard operating procedure. The only reason I heard about it was they were from an area a hundred or so miles away, and der vey did not detect any kind of possible connection between me and them. Others simply dissappeared into the night, God only knows where.. Oh yes. One of the bigwigs kids was pregnant, I think. Mysteriously seemed to pass through the training with flying colors.. Interesting choice of words. I think der vey's actions gave us a rotten can of worms labelled beans. Now we find ourselves YEARS later finally dealing with this. Can of worms, yes. But for der vey. True. Not many material possessions. But look at what they really lost- and I would rate it as being more devastating than losing all of your possessions in a house fire: 1. "Friends" back in the good old home town. They think you are "possessed". 2. Your good name. Yes, you're "possessed". You're lower than the low. The unsalted, the uncommitted.. 3. Any kind of expectation for some kind of support from said individuals. They've turned your back on you. 4. Their sanity- at least for some time. Can't convince me people take this stuff in stride like a leisure stroll in the park. Oh yes, you could count material losses- they did abandon all that to go in the damned program to begin with. Ever stop to think that YOU were about the only exception? When they put your "sorry" rear end out to the curb, you had some place to go. And from what I read about YOUR experience, it was STILL devastating. You would have done ANYTHING to stay there, practically speaking. You had at least one luxury that MOST others did not.
  24. And sometimes I think I have reason to bitch and moan.. (((rascal)))
