Yep. I would agree, vic plagiarized HALF of it..
-
Funny how the first time around, when I read that thing, I swallowed it all up like it was gospel truth..
-
Makes me wonder about this too. Any of these people still alive? I'd like to hear the other side of the story..
-
"genuine" satori in THREE HOURS??? To me, this claim stands out like a sore thumb. Makes me wonder what kind of "short cut" they are really using..
-
Interesting though.. if you walk in a bank with a piece of wood that LOOKS like a firearm, point it at the teller, and say, "gimme all the loot"- if they catch you, you're going to JAIL. No matter how vocally you argue that it was only made out of wood.. "Awwww, I didn't REALLY mean any harm.."
-
Personally, I could never accuse Catcup of doing so from lack of intelligence.. she's probably one of the smartest folks around. Apparently intelligence does not make one immune from this.. If would seem they "enjoyed" a fair amount of success in maneuvering an otherwise intelligent and loving person to commit despicable actions.. The gun must be very real, indeed. Sad.. only after leaving that pile of crap, and waiting long enough, you find the damned gun was loaded with blanks..
-
I'm working on that one.. Perhaps it was "donated".. or maybe a home brew project of sorts.. I don't even think it was LEGAL to OWN such a thing back then.. morals of the community and all.. If so, it'd have to fall under the category of "creative accounting".

Anybody ever get the details on this? Who was it? Angry husband? Cast iron skillet bearing wife? Or is it some kind of ellipsis: "three times in those years, people tried to kill me..(and we all know we wouldn't have the verd like it has not been known since the first century if they had succeeded..)"
-
I think I contributed about four bucks.. ptooie.
-
Yep. true.. Its the part of purposely acting in a sinister manner out in front of "God and the whole world" quality I was thinking of. That's what I see in rosie.. Past that, the comparison to Lavey is an insult to him.. Probably done more good for people than all of the "saints" in charge of der vey..
-
True on all counts. But I would add this: His constant, unbending and arrogant dismissal of most things evil directly due to TWI really shows the whole world what kind of .... we really had to put up with. Put someone like this in a position with authority, and you've got some REAL problems. Not that I was exactly a "saint" either.. A couple of people on this board could probably tell horror stories about me.. and I never had any appointment higher than twig coordinator. In a lot of ways, I was just the same. Good grief.. I hope I'm getting better.. Seems some people would try to throw the darn gun in the bay and pretend it never existed to begin with. "What shooting? I don't know nuttin.."
-
I tossed him in just for the fun of it.. but it did seem to describe that certain "spiritual" element, that I couldn't quite put my finger on..
-
I dunno. In any other context.. a spiritual COUNSELOR who claimed to be a servant of Almighty God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and using their authority over you to DEMAND of you to go to doctor "doom".. at least, they'd be consider NUTSO. Or just another counterfiet. Can't go beyond what you're taught.. the old slickster was right about that one. But look at who was teaching, and leading us- ptooie.
-
I fixed it for that rascal..
-
Its bad enough of an experience at its BEST.. That a spiritual "counsellor" would badger you to no end to have it done, goes beyond despicable. COUNSELLORS. "Oh but no, we were just fellow believers.." Don't think that defense would pan out very much.. the people barking the orders were TRAINED. I can almost hear the damn "doctor", "Won't hurt a bit. A few minutes, and it all will be over.." Tell these ladies that.. even twenty years later. And for a "minister of the lord jesus christ" to DEMAND such to be done, well, I don't have harsh enough words for this.
-
I guess the thing I'm trying to say.. If you don't hear anything in the next couple of days, that doesn't mean anything in itself. Unless they have one of those "magic" cell phones, probably won't hear anything for a while..
-
At our radio club meeting last night, we had a guy from Salvation Army saying that things are so bad, no health and welfare messages, at least enquiries INTO the effected areas, will be answered for a very very long time, maybe even weeks.. Psalmie, I think you may have to wait for a message from your friend. I hope said person is OK..praying here anyway.
-
With "ministers" like that, we don't even NEED a devil, do we..
-
Yep. I think that would fall under the last category..
-
As bad as the top chart is, this is what it allegedly looks like when they flip it over when nobody is looking.. Housing expenses for ex mog 5% Off shore accounts 40% gold aquisition 27% anonymous payments for mog's 3-ways 4% bribes to "sanitize" their sorry reputation 22% criminal activities 2%

Thirty years later.. yep. Kinda "tough" how crap like this comes back and bites em in the a**, isn't it? But its still current. I haven't heard them reverse their position that an abortion is no more morally harmful than getting a manicure.. What about CURRENT staffers? How many do you think were forced into this vile "procedure" to keep their positions? Ah yes.. they DID have a "moratorium" on pregnancies, did they not.. Still all done in the name of the almighty.. If I were the lord, I'd hurl..
-
I don't think ANY woman wants an abortion. God just didn't make us like that.. It seems logical to me, that the threat of something FAR WORSE would make something really really bad, and certainly devastating, a "better" choice between two evils.
-
Maybe not. But their intentions certainly did not or will not nullify the effect. Just one small point: they seemed so to be so "skilled" at "motivating" women to do this, would indicate, at least to me, that they were in this kind of business for a LONG time. True, THAT was not the corps people signed up for, but that's what MANY got, nonetheless.
-
No, they are still really there. You just can't see em.
-
But if you take these four "special" ingredients with the proper analysis, you will see they make up the following percentage of the twenty six percent: Machievelli: 19% Lavey: 19% Pavlov: 46% Hitler: 26% You may be right, these figures pretty much describe a lot of leadership I was under.. Oops. Maybe I got Pavlov and Hitler mixed up..
