Well, I tried finding some of those for you two. One place has a buy one pair, get one free. Sushi could buy one, and he and George split the cost. I'd put up a link here, but I don't think Paw would appreciate it too much..

I think that once they label it truth with a T, they are calling it God. Then the package is fully baked, so to speak.. no other options. "Truth" doesn't change by their definition. Neither do they.. at least seldom.

sheesh. If you were LUCKY enough to find it, THANK GOD. You can't put light in a bottle. The licensce conferred is NOT transferrable, or assignable to any other persons, living or otherwise. for no amount of money, or effort, or training.. or sacrifice.. I wish they'd quit trying to sell it. enough "new age" babble..

I would only add- for a VERY LONG TIME. They've been at this nonsense for YEARS. -
I wonder if potato is on the menu with burger.. sorry well, they haven't made it as far east as Michigan, at least yet..
-
But the Wowburgers were good.. well, kinda.. hmm.. Some of them that I consumed still haunt me- they were so rare I could almost here them scream moo..
-
Well, they didn't entirely have to do nothing. SOMEBODY had to point with the finger that which was "supposed" to be done.. Quite a few of them even taught their kids this awsome responsability..

CoolWaters.. I think this "like it hasn't been known since the 1st century.." concept is closely related to the overrated and overused "rightly dividing" concept. If somebody's lifelong ambition in life is to have on his/her tombstone "Wow, they were really RIGHT", my opinion- they may have a few "issues". vic admitted his ambition as such, that he wanted a "product" that he did NOT HAVE TO BACK DOWN FROM. Sounds like he wanted to be God Almighty. Others self-admittedly have a "product" that they'll surf all the way to hell, if that's what it takes.. and they (in their own minds) can trace it back to the first century.

Yeah.. it seems now such a dark, distant memory.. "we ought to come to the realization that we owe our VERY LIVES to da ministry.." Just a suggestion. Tantamount to a command, of course. But the food! ahhhhhh, the chicken at the ROA.. well, I HAVE had better.
-
Naw, they just cut it out of the bible with proper "rightly" surgical dividing of sorts. Forget the idea it was actually addressed to the church as such.. Luke was a GENTILE.. All written after most epistles.. Well, maybe they didn't exactly cut them out, but their words were blunted and softened, being subordinated to what was supposedly written TO us.

Makes me wonder what they put in the food..

14+ hour work days at times, even for VOLUNTEERS being screamed at for over an hour because the reason we don't have new people coming to twig was because the non-members were "too boring", God forbid the notion that the doctrine was despicable.. Yep.. the "scream fests" occured bi, or tri weekly towards the end.. abandoning overtime and even job advancement so you could be at the beck and call as a VOLUNTEER for a "ministry" that you really weren't a member of.. Spending countless hours listening to the latest doctrinal drivel when I should have really been in school.. that was just for the run of the mill general follower.. in my experience. For most corps, it was WORSE. No, it does not define my existence, but by and large, this was the TWI experience. What I don't understand.. how can someone calmly set back and say, "well, the food was OK.." The fondest memories some people have, including myself, revolve about food, or sharing time with people in the kitchen.. This is nothing new. Numbers 11: 4 ΒΆ And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? 5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: 6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes. holy schmoley. what was so pleasant about Egypt? The wowburgers may have been ok.. too bad most of the rest of the experience wasn't worth a crap.. Must've been some pretty good leeks..

No, I'm not even thinking about his employ. What's his purpose in life? He's committed to CES, pure and simple. Yeah.. he'll sell books. Or try.. but he'll never recapture the glory of old waydays gone by.. sad. -
I guess riding on his motorcycle, standing on the seat didn't get their attention..

At this point, I wonder if his survival depends on continued endorsement of the organization. What's he gonna do if it folds? Sell books? I think he's painted himself in a corner of sorts.. -

I think the main problem with a "package" is usually it comes with an "all or none" option. Have to swallow it hook line and sinker.. no thanks. -

Honestly, I don't see 23 pages of venting here. I can't speak for everybody, but I think we got pretty much what we expected- a self-righteous, pontificating, self-serving (if not personally, at least as the organization is concerned) five page "letter"- and now won't see him for dust. Along with one last jab- "I'm so great, buy my book". Its EXACTLY what I expected. what a waste of time.. -

OMG.. Turned it into a daggone advertisement. Can't say I didn't see it coming. Yeah, "have real questions, read my book". How sad. I think the organization is cooked.. -

CES is in a Mess...
Ham replied to Captain Crunch's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
Priceless, Socks.. true, it may or may not be.. but it is a catchy label, is it not? The similarity between CES and its "papa" are rather striking, though. They took TWI dogma- the "keys", administrations, holy spirit stuff, JCING, and more- and purified it seven times: a few tweaks, a few "refinements", and what do you have? A product that is nearly as exciting and new as watching eggs boil. Perhaps the personal prophecy thingy was supposed to give some pizzazz and charisma to yet one more drab and lifeless organization. -
Some legal "upstart" might consider playing the devil's advocate, and sue for copyright infringement.. Sorry, I feel just so bad this morning..

Didn't the vicster claim he'd go "to the devil's heel" for truth, or some such nonsense? I wonder if that qualifies as "strange people" vic went to for info.. "Plagiarize the devil"...
