As long as you can jump. When you can't jump anymore, they're done with you. Honestly.. they don't learn anything NEW in these classes. Heard it over twenty times already.. Just one more act of submission to the current alpha she-male, time and time again, to maintain precious status. One confirmation of "their" position after another.. it's not really about "The Word". I think it's a demand for loyalty, sacrifice.

I haven't met a single soul that I haven't LOVED. Why do we war with those we love.. I guess there are always good enough reasons.
-
It has always been a war.. Us vs. them. "right".. "wrong".. I think it's part of our agreement for this existence.. Weird thing.. I think we are all light.. maybe we just can't stand ourselves..
-
: George, don't SAY that! Feel like tempting fate?

What I'd like to know, with the "needs basis" salary from HQ, how in the world can they AFFORD a mortgage payment? Perhaps it is "subsidized" by contributions from the parents? That's a big no-no in TWI terms also.
-
I didn't even notice them until you said something.

It could be said that "miracles" are disasters brought to perfection.. anybody who sees the process my school research papers go through would agree.

Well yeah.. but also has fur, and webbed feet, not to mention has a bill :)

Naw, God is a committee. Somebody here would have to really, really want to know how I came up with this :biglaugh: Then I still don't know if I'd post it :biglaugh:

Well, I have seen stranger things happen! -
Hope, after a while, they even quit buying the pizza.. I remember they had limb work days- polish and bring to perfection the limb home. I remember what they did to corps that were on probabation here that I know.. but I wouldn't post details without their permission. I'll just say it involved about eighteen hours of HARD labor. And labor that would NOT have been necessary, had the "leader" used a little common sense. I think the most amount of free hours I dumped into that organization involved running classes, cleaning and setting up for hours on end, not leaving as small as a speck of dust for a debil to hide under.. I counted it once, but can't remember- but I think I sat through PFAL perhaps sixty times or more, and usually I was on crew, cleaning, setting up, doing audio/video, etc. etc. We didn't get pizza either..

What I wonder, where is all of this heading, i.e., the "elections" this month? I can almost hear the announcement from JL- "well, SOMEBODY had to save the day here.." "with great reluctance, I accept the presidency on a TEMPORARY basis, and will lay down the power, when order is restored in the Senate.." -
I wouldn't say its impossible, but if you can find the love of your life or hook up with good people on the internet, you are just plain LUCKY.

Hmmm. A lot of those might make good display names here.. Naw, I think they use them in other kinds of forums..

I dunno.. I think anybody who would side with a half-bit grifter over EVERY high school, EVERY Seminary, EVERY institution of higher learning, a literal ARMY of lawyers and other legal types.. this kind of story belongs on a milk carton, or poster. "Don't join cults, this could happen to you".
-
Raf.. anybody that would side with a half-bit grifter over EVERY high school in the U.S., EVERY seminary, Purdue, Yale, Harvard, Georgetown, Indiana University, and EVERY other reputable institution of higher learning, not to mention a member of a Pulitzer nominated team :) I don't know what to say. Looks like the grifter did his job quite well. The cult mentality lives on, over twenty years after his death.

It may be beating a long dead equestrian type animal.. but here goes.. From Indiana University Writing Tutorial Services, http://www.indiana.edu/~wts/pamphlets/plagiarism.shtml Purdue resources: "The Owl", last full revision by Karl Stolley:http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/589/01/ No excuses for anybody coming out of Purdue- they offer a how to do it manual..How about Georgtown University? From Honor Council page, http://gervaseprograms.georgetown.edu/hc/plagiarism.html Anderson University, Anderson Indiana: English 1120 syllabus, http://www.anderson.edu/academics/engl/wri.../1120Hsyll.html Oh yes. Anderson is a Bible college.. I'd go on, and on, and on.. but I think Stanford, Georgetown, and at least one prominent BIBLE COLLEGE should be at least a LITTLE convincing. "anybody who is somebody" in the world gets this stuff about academic honesty.

Step Right Up, Get your own Personal Prophecy!

Wordwolf- in the Companion Bible Bullinger said something to the effect ot "note the ambiguity of these kind of communications". Took me a few minutes to get it.. but Zedekiah's "prophecy" would have been "fulfilled" either way the battle turned out.. -

CES is in a Mess...
Ham replied to Captain Crunch's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
Yeah, we all seem to be connected.. Socks.. I've seen some people desperately seeking the connection, only to abandon it in fear of loss of self.. I can't see how some people can go back to darkness. -

I think the thread was as friendly as it was gonna get the first two pages.. he had his chance. -
Well.. just because a Christian won't take you to court for stealing his work lock stock and barrel doesn't make it necessarily right. If it is public domain, "they" could just fire up the presses and have at it- legally- PROVIDING THEY CREDIT THE AUTHOR. Ah.. this little "detail" seems to elude "them".. What I see here- in vic and crews brazen copying of other BRETHREN's material- LESS respect than secular writers treat their colleague's labors. Well, it's just my brother, he won't care, it's for a good reason.. I thought we were supposed to be better.

I dunno.. I never saw vic jump over the barn..
