They overestimate themselves..

well.. I don't know if the show is over. As far as CES/STFI is concerned, it is up to THEM, in my opinion. A lot of us pray that they would be restored. I think that is largely up to them. Same for TWI. Every passing day though, I see the likelihood slowly evaporating. -
I've heard of the caffeine thing.. question. Does it give you like a super caffeine "rush"?

So what's the status at CESTFI?

I agree. In a lot of ways, I think they start out like a mom and pop business, you know the boss, you belong.. wages aren't too bad, there are some benefits, and they don't work you all the way down to the bone. Then they retire and sell the business. Little church in the home, or on the block, then they start to think.. "geeze, this is so cool, EVERYBODY oughta have it.." Yeah. They HAD it, PERHAPS, when they were small. -
Two days.. Yeah, I think they have streaming video.. I was looking for the link, but it appears that their server is down at the moment. I can hear the crowds gathering, some angrily chanting, "No shadow, no shadow, no shadow..."

I don't know. The most meaningful discourses I've had have been with a hand full of people around here- a few on GS, but the most meaningful have been with local people in my community. My thoughts are that if you take a small work that is really enjoyable, maybe getting some genuine results, hang a sign on it, and try to force it to go "big time", all the rules change. No longer are you free to give, you are REQUIRED to PERFORM. Lately, I think small is a good thing.. -

"WE have the best package around.." "WE know da word.." "WE WE WE." Pride goes before a fall.. The next generation won't even know who JL IS, or was.. Or MG, or JS. -

Sprawled Out, I thought you put them in Cryostasis.. Just a little problem that a couple hundred gallons of liquid nitrogen can't fix.. :) -

I've know that for years.. kinda like, something's rotten in proverbial Denmark.. Bumpy, here's your hug: (((((( Bumpy )))))))) My initial thought was that organizations and/or leadership really overestimate themselves, CES being a good example. Really.. I don't think they can bring new light like hasn't been known since ages past, automatically be able to heal practically anybody who crosses their path, have the Creator's inside skinny on people's lives at a whim, or in general, have a one-size-fits-all walk for the lord, that people are "nuts" not to take up the offer.. But the same thing applies to me. Most of the time, I feel like I'm lucky enough just to take care of myself, and PERHAPS a FEW people around me. Some people hit the "big time".. but they are few and far between. -
Anybody notice- if you hold the mouse cursor at the right place, you can make her cross her eyes?

Hey, don't complain too much. The food was good.. well, kinda.. but then again, the mystery meat at the adv. class special.. If I could just identify it, perhaps I could give it a proper critique..

Yeah.. anybody can be anything they want to be, IN THEIR OWN MIND. The rest of the world may not agree

Welcome, Holy Smoke (or Newcomer).. I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I don't know how much hate was involved.. but the vey tree was as close as I ever came to falling into a coma.. I think it was that class that I learned how to sleep sitting up and with both eyes open.

Letter from John Lynn
Ham replied to Jeff USAF RET's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
I would agree that that is indeed what he thought.. but I can't give the devil that much glory. People are people. Anger enough of them with enough arrogance, strife, bitterness, false prophecies, manipulation- and then blame the devil to get the heat off - well, it doesn't work with a lot of people any more. I think it's even worse- they'd go back to business as usual if they could. J.L.'s letter called for some kind of christian unity by tapping back in his "root" because he thinks they have the best PACKAGE anywhere. "Making potshots" (rational and often LOVING comments) and "I told you so" not being an option. The devil "wildcard" doesn't fit here, in my opinion.. they just aren't THAT important. The old cathedrals had awful sculptures of different kinds of devils and gargoyles on the outside, some historians think to frighten the people with visions of what waited for them on the outside of the church, if they didn't obey, if they didn't tow the line.. I think that is the same tactic here. -

I can see God looking at the box.. "you're not getting ME in that thing". :)
-
I think it's not unlike Schroedinger's Cat. Schroedinger claimed that as long as the cat was in the box, it would be dead and alive at the same time..
-
I am beginning to think that this mathematical and scientific precise doctrine does little more than to try to put God in a cleverly manufactured, air-tight box. If my God has to fit inside of that thing, he's too small..

And the ex-way or way "leaders" who think they can fix everything, heroically jump in the fray, waving a bible, trying to restore "order".. "you'll be sorrrry.." I saw one bar fight once.. they DO hit the guy with glasses.. they'd hit a guy waving a bible as well..
