The thought that God was not in der vey AT ALL, from the beginning, sets better with me than to think a glass eyed adulterer, plagiarizer and rapist was handed the secrets of the universe. Even IF it happened- that the lord said, if you teach it... I'll do so and so, vic didn't live up to the bargain. Instead of teaching, vic went about stealing and making off with every woman who wasn't bolted to the floor.. I would say he abrogated the "agreement" before taking step one. All of this sex crazed junk started way back in his denominational days. Or before. Somebody challenged me once, "what would you do if you found everything you believed to be WRONG?" If you can't even consider that question, what's the point of trying to learn..

In der vey living in lust, I remember old "doc" telling Elena about the early years, how he burned the "junk", went to the verd, and shared with Dr. Higgins. She read Bullinger. "Wow, you teach like he wrote". vics answer was of not much substance than "aww, tweren't nuthin.." He claimed to have independantly come up with the same material before Higgins shared Bullinger with him. Until Bullinger books starting making the rounds.

The man had a valid master's degree.. you'd think that he would have known better.

For some perhaps. I don't paint all psychologists or therapists as evil though.. I think there is a pretty broad spectrum of people with different motivations. You have some who care, some who are in it for the money, some who are highly qualified and professional, and some who don't give a damn. The most damaging and addictive appear to be the quasi-psychological weekend "drive through" type of fixits that can cause problems far worse than they are trying to "fix". Kinda like twi. Every year, have to leave family and friends on a national holiday, and get the same verbal pummeling, year after year.. with the same bore me to tears drivel, and it is demanded, not an option. I think the "patients" need to pick up a few clubs and work over the "docs"

And where are they all now, twenty three years later? I imagine some would not feel comfortable even admitting they took the class. far fewer than one out of ten I worked with ended up actually taking the class. I would venture to say that the vast majority came, saw, and refused to follow vic over a cliff like the rest of us lemmings, at least lemmings at the time. The "real deal" were the people that actually built up that heap of an organization. Not vic. I actually had a few people independently tell me in essence the same thing. "well, we think you are nice, but the rest of the bunch, too pushy. I can't stand them. They are worse than used car salesmen.."

I think the instructions they gave their followers amounted as much as.. "Find a nice clean place to sit on the floor. carefully remove all sharp, potentially hazardous items from your pockets. firmly pull yourself tightly into a ball, and kiss your *** goodbye"

As adamant as they are, clueless and conscienseless, they do serve a purpose. I think the opinions and demeanors expressed are representative of the kind of crap we had to endure in twi. Like Howey Yuck Allen said, no man is "useless". They can always be held out as a bad example.

Yeah.. I heard about that. I wondered what kind of "preparations" they REALLY had at old hq. With a meltdown, you'd hafta have a lot of ammo or something to disuade local looters and such from making claims. Maybe they had a couple gallons of distilled water and a few cans of beans they could store away in a locked closet.. I still like the bunker theory. "As civilization and her 'army' falls to the allies, rosie is hiding in her downtown Berlin titantic bunker. If things REALLY went "south", "they" and their precious resources would not be very safe, unless they buried themselves under twenty feet of cement or something. It would be almost a scene out of Dr. Strangelove. The board, anxiously waiting for the word, "Mssss. President, what can we do?" Dr. Strangeloy would wheel up into the light. The clock is ticking thread go me to think about this for a moment. I wonder where will they, rosie, donna, howard.. all the rest go in the event of a world wide economic melt down? Considering they are supposed to have every eventuality planned, I wonder what they would do, or have planned. These sycophants have been living on stolen labors for so long, I really don't think they could fend for themselves very well. I could hardly see rosie out plowing a field by hand, or digging for sustenence, though she resembles an old, worn, farmer.. Maybe, they have a vault of food, and would lock themselves in it for fifty years or so.. oh, the little side benefits of a disaster.. These kind of attacks really show what TWI was like. Very typical, "it didn't happen", "well, if it did, it was worth it, I got the VERD, besides, THOUSANDS 'got saved'" I think it's more like "millions now smoking.." Rascal, I think this kind of calousness exhibited by some posters is very much on the topic of the thread here. At least as a case history. They seem to hold the same opinions they did YEARS ago in der vey. No change, no consideration, no remorse, no logic, no learning. "no new research". I don't think they ever really left der vey. "This is your brain. this is your brain in a cult. Any questions?" I think it is just one more example of the TWI mentality. I don't think it's a matter of TWI being good, on it's own terms. Never will happen. I don't think the attitudes will ever change on their own. They still think the holocaust is a hoax, think the survivors are mistaken "whiners". Would we expect any less of an attitude towards the women who were abused by bible-toting dirtbags? I still think it needs to be flogged into submission. All I can say is, if somebody reads this stuff, and still wants to "join" or go back to der vey, their blood is on their own head. Yep. Ask the local guy trying to recruit you... "what abuse? what lawsuits? you've been on the internet, haven't you.."
