  1. To this day they pull out the lame "eat the fish, spit out the bones" analogy. Despite the fact that I can't stand the smell of fish, I did fish when I was young. Just couldn't eat what I caught, the rest of the family did though.. I caught a fish once, my dad says, "we don't eat those, THEY ARE ALL BONE" it was a sucker..
  2. Honestly, with the effect of prophecy shenanigans and momentus, I think a more fitting comparison to be to the Three Stooges. In my opinion.
  3. Sadly, the "gossip column" here has more to offer than that sad group with delusions of prophethood among those on the top. They never really left the way, and they admit it. "We've left with the GOLD".. "Eat the fish, spit out the bones..." same sad posturing. Same arrogance, instead of "we are PREVAILING" the war cry is "we have the BEST PACKAGE". Where did they get 92.7 percent of their "package"? Now they've turned on themselves. Maybe nowhere else to go. I think for those who have thrown off the cult mindset, from the outside, it looks like a bad situation comedy. Or "survivor, Indiana". Sorry, that's the way I see it.
  4. Ah.. I think I "gawwt" it. It's some kind of unholy trinity, you have J.S. the father, MG the errant "son", and J.L is the "ghost" writer. He's somehow absent, yet his effects are still felt.. edited to more closely match reality..
  5. Coffee? You guys were betrayed. The way I heard it, that wasn't coffee, it was decaf..
  6. Ouch.. it sure hurts to be cute at times..
  7. And all that time, I thought you guys were having some kinda big old party..
  8. Hey, did you see the game? I walked by the place last night, it was so full they wouldn't let me in even to buy a hot dog..
  9. I trust my emotions a hundred times over what I trust anything that came out of that kornfield outfit.. but if you think my emotions are ruling, you simply don't know me.
  10. Now now Dot. You have to be just a little more subtle. You simply make a note in capital letters the name of this culprit, and wait until the next wednesday just BEFORE corps night. You get what you want, a shortened version, he who may have shared again wakes up the next morning in the woods somewhere. considering SOME of the intellect I've seen come out of that place (yeah, I know, some of you were pretty sharp) it would take the most part of a year for somebody to put together the connection between the sharings and the muggings.. It would be a twisted form of operant conditioning.. "Why isn't anybody around here sharing any more lately??"
  11. When I was a young lad, I couldn't STAND the smell of two things: 1. Swiss Cheese 2. Fish. I grew out of the aversion to swiss cheese. But.. I hate fish.. always have. Awful, evil, disgusting stuff.. I have worse problems with fish than I do getting a shot at doctors office. And they practically have to use a rubber mallet to get me calm enough to get a needle of any kind into me.. Don't tell me I have to eat fish..
  12. who says? maybe they didn't see it in the original..
  13. I think that it is up to the individual. Oldies, you wanna hold onto it, fine by me. Personally, for me, I see no merit in it. Like some others, I've filled my bucket with lots of other stuff.. and Raf, I do respect you and what you've done sorting through all that stuff.
  14. After figuratively "sundialing" the guy, and wiping off the greasy mustache, I'd probably give it back.. One of my daughter's original work looks nicer anyway..
  15. Of course I could do what vic did. Cut it out of it's frame, paste it on a poster, draw a mustache on it.. nobody would ever suspect..
  16. Whether vic happened to be "right" about something, at least to me, is not relevant. It's merely, stolen property, stolen goods.. and some of it laced with spiritual rat poison. I got tired of peddling stolen merchandise. Even if it's the Mona Lisa, you can't exactly enjoy it, or show it off.. what do you do with something like that? Hang it in your living room?
  17. It still doesn't make sense to me. Who, pray tell, is doing the "entitling"? See.. you do not sit in that position. Your permission or empowerment is not necessary. Nor is mine. On the other hand, I do not feel any thing that came from vic is "entitled" a FAIR SHAKE. Of course, the same can be said of me.
  18. Oh, yes, this has been a while, hasn't it. All I'll say is it was a DISASTER, for me. But it was mine, and it was REAL. Honest to God real.. more than I can say about any lilly livered way "ministry" "let's just be so blessed" "renewed mind" stupidity.. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.. and I wouldn't have it any other way. All I can say "Mr." Linder, let's see YOU try to grow up when you're fifty, or older.. good luck.
  19. I remember how he felt about computers, "some of you have accepted COMPUTERS (drat), YOU DON'T NEED computers to 'move da word'.." "You could handle the work you do with pencil and paper.." and that was running an AREA, or a LIMB. I think if you can single-handedly run a state wide business with pencil, paper, and a calculator, the business is more than in trouble..
  20. I've vomited up more rotten fish than I care to enumerate..
  21. I dunno.. I think if he chimed in here, it would be like tossing a couple hundred pounds of fresh hamburger in shark infested waters.. but I don't think that would be such a bad thing. After fifty or sixty pages of hoopla, I think a lot of people would actually forgive the miserable SOB. I had to find a conscience once too. Nowhere near the level of damage loy did, but I did my share. J.L. still takes a pretty good beating here, but he failed to dialog, he chose to pontificate. I think if loy actually honestly dialoged, he'd have half a chance here.
  22. Or are you trying to say that upon leaving the clutches of der vey, a person doesn't have the right to dump twi doctrine like yesterday's garbage? Just trying to understand this.. Personally, I think the guy was so unclean he contaminated everything he touched..
  23. Here in the forums, and also comments of the Judge and court documents and "stuff" in the A**en case. Rivenbark KNEW about the trail of women being hustled to loy's doorstep.
  24. Just a question.. how does entitlement fit into this? Entitled, to what? What's supposedly owed to the victim? I don't see it.. Are you trying to say that if a person had a rotten abusive enough relationship with der "verdmeister" that they have the mindset of being "entitled" if they simply throw away everything they ever learned from the lousy scumbag? Or that they are forever destined to sort through the bottom of twi's outhouse, trying to find some kind of treasure? Really, I don't see where "entitlement" is relevant. I just don't get it.. I've seen the attitudee of "entitlement" on the other foot a few times though. Several I know who left der vey, feel that they are entitled that you agree with them. After all, "we all know the same word, do we not?"
  25. You won't find it written in a syalbus or book. "every woman in da kingdom belongs to da king" was an off the cuff, cutsie little remark vic made in pfal. Kinda like, "well, we ALL know this little tidbit, it's logcical and everything.." was what I perceived his demeanor as he spoke it. Just another rotten little seed, and it was allowed to fester and grow.. I don't have the book anymore, somebody else will have to look it up to see what the printed statement actually was. vic was surrounded with people who would act as a pimp. It is documented how they hustled, recruited and coerced women, and ushered them into the camper and waiting greasy arms of der mog. It was a kind of esoteric spoken tradition passed along. They wouldn't dare put it directly in a book..
