What I wonder is.. The Zundel trial. Faurisson contacted leuchter, and leuchter was paid something like $35,000 to testify as an "expert".. Didn't they check his credentials? Or did they put him on the stand, with full knowledge that he only had a bachellor's in HISTORY? $35,000 for an "expert" expert would be rather cheap.. maybe they thought if they could just put an oaf on the stand, and the other side beat him up over his credentials.. the judge and jury would pity the poor fools.. well.. my point orginally was.. if herr mogster embraced a position in PRACTICE that is considered "unclean" to the nth degree to MOST of the rest of the Christian world.. isn't that kinda like wearing a cloak that's the embodiment of at the very least- an appearance of evil? If it was merely a matter of ideology. that's one thing.. but when it is mandated.. as some kind of "fixit" to cover the real goings on in a "ministry".. to "help" somebody to "not end up like Ananias and Sapphira".. and he pays for it.. grudgingly, but he pays for it nontheless.. it all seems pretty twisted and conflicted.. at least to me. some of it is pretty "clear".. depending upon who's doing the reading, and the particualar section in which their mind APPEARS to be "actively engaged".. "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.." now.. you may jump through hoops, try to modify that statement with vicster's "tools".. but to date, I haven't seen a single verse after this, which DIRECTLY nulifies it. You might consider the example trivial, but to many others, it is not.. I know at least one person, who justified almost virtual robbery and extortion, having read where "it's impossible for a rich man to enter the kingdom.." He was doing those who held more resources than him a "favor".. OH.. this was a "way" believer.. Trivial? apparently not to him. The verse was clear, very very clear..
