  1. If someone goes to the "ex-way, ex-corps" site, please direct them to this little poll. I'd like some kind of "legitimacy" in the survey. Thanks. :)
  2. I imagine it would. I got about half of my credits from a junior college here, at 1/4 the price. I also inquired if the credits would transfer. They documented that they had an equivalency agreement with almost every other accredited college in Michigan. When I hit the level of credits that no more would transfer, I transferred to the larger four year university.I could have put in about 15 more hours and gotten an associates, but would have lost them. Suppose it depends what it is one wants to do. I would really really like to teach on say, a junior college level someday, at least to start. A degree from pikes peak arithmetic and divinity school would hardly open the door.
  3. Plus, by coming here, you can pretty much gague the satisfaction level of customers who bought another product that remarkably resembles your own. I think the product needs a *little* tweaking..
  4. I'd only add.. here is about the only place you'd get an honest critique of the "product". It's kinda outside of the loop of the self admiration society that many seem to rely on for encouragement and sustenance. Those in some splinter groups might think it, but they won't say it.. it's really impolite. If my internet site looked like I was dredging for volunteers to split and stack my firewood, haul off the old cars, herd my animals for me, and toss them to the curb when I was tired of them, or the farm was finally done, I just might really NEED somebody to tell me.. it's kinda like body odor. The polite thing to do is to discretely say something like "hey, ya know, soap and water has been in fashion for a couple of years. You might want to try some on.."
  5. damn.. one lifetime after another I've chosen a losing cause.. maybe we all have..
  6. Friend.. we were scattered to the four winds.. and's that's part of the initial agreement with this new little slice of "heaven"..
  7. what happened to OUR "community"..?
  8. The call to the "ministry".. "Here am I, chop my wood.." There's an Amish community about forty miles north here.. I'm sure they live life "on the edge".. at least physically speaking.. I dunno.. once these people chop the wood.. build the farm.. what's REALLY in it for them.. the Amish.. at least you have some kind of community..
  9. My first reaction to the link you provided. when's they guy gonna jump out from behind the bushes.. "boo.. April Fool! Nyuk nyuk, I'm not REALLY trying to perpeptuate a blood and life sucking cult.." Then I looked at the calender.. heck, it's not even February yet.. there is NOTHING on that site to indicate anything different from what I initially thought..
  10. Tick made more sense than his master though. He "fleed" fornication, didn't he?
  11. $%*@#.. why do I have to go hunt people down to find out their friggin motive.. &*($^&*.. I've been saying this most of today.. I've really got better things to do.. but maybe not.. I hope it doesn't end up as a real war with people.. but sheesh.. they have no idea who they're up against.. and no, it's not the devil.. maybe it's a close second..
  12. well, all one has to do is ask, mustn't one? :) The only thing I'll say.. it is TOO DAMED BAD that "some of us" leave that unexplained. The motive, that is. All I have is my friggin knee jerk reaction to this kind of thing.. and a real bitter feeling in the pit of my stomach.. see.. it's not up to me to explain why I feel this way. It's just not an "unrenewed mind" or anything. I'd go to the source. "Why do I feel this way about your little endeavor.." It better not be an answer like.. "well, you're justa thinkin evil or somethin". Now lynn and crowd.. they've already ruined themselves to the place I wouldn't even BOTHER going to them for an explanation..
  13. I dunno. As "lame" as it sounds... one has to find "their own" truth.. I prefer to think of.. what once WAS God.. is now US.. String theory and Jewish mysticism at least partly might agree with me.. :) I've asked him a couple of times.. how could you be so bored as to pull the plug on a bunch of dimensions.. what a mess..
  14. Ham

    For Ham

Thanks Dooj.. of course you notice who was in charge there.. doing all of the song leading and stuff..
  15. I wonder if they got the idea from my little write up.. http://www.greasespotcafe.com/ipb/index.ph...+good+men+women
  16. guess one can't be perfect on all points..
  17. umm.. I think "some of us" have.. I almost feel like it's April the first..
  18. no "biggie" for me.. just.. that's three or four benefits of the doubt I handed to a half a dozen or more "well meaning" clowns before.. The page you linked to.. honestly, it looked not like a scam, but more like a joke. The "residents" of the farm: a beat up truck, a couple of farm animals.. the subject line of my email "is this for real?" If it indeed is the young character you refer to, the last I remember, he was heavily involved in an offshoot. What's he doing there? Starting another splinter of a splinter of a splinter? Just another little thing that at least suggests to me.. if it ISN'T a joke, it SHOULD be..
  19. Forgive me Ms. Garland. I really don't think you were singing about H.E.W... No, don't burn him. I think it would be far more entertaining if he did a song and dance routine.
  20. I sent it.. we'll see. I can imagine the reply.. "nawww, I kicked around in the underworld a coupla years.." Thanks for the link JL..
  21. a link provided by mr Lingo on another thread.. http://sowersonline.com/default.aspx I'm gonna email the guy. Ask him.. "did you just happen to be born on May 20 or 21, 1985?"
  22. I thought this one was a likely candidate.. A pretty young starter in the business this time around, but maybe it's not him. there's about a seven year gap or so.. Then maybe it could be.. maybe he was on vacation somewhere for a while..smoking big fat cigars, floating on a cloud.. wearing a halo(?) nawwww..
  23. Are you entirely sure about that? not the not worth messing with.. but the dead are dead, and their time has passed. I keep watching the news, looking for someone about say.. about twenty-two years old, who got caught in an imaginary black snowstorm, got tangled up in a newfangled xerox machine, and claims to have knowledge of der verd as it hath notter been known since the earth cooled.. I'll probably never see it. They probably wouldn't consider it very newsworthy
  24. Yeah, they interviewed a lot of the people in the people's temple.. I would imagine a lot of them didn't think it was a blood thirsty cult before the "founder" started passing out the kool aid, and forcing the flock to drink. Maybe the only difference between jones and vic in 1976- vic didn't go AS far off the deep end about his conspiracies and have some kinda "vision" that people were better off doing themselves in..
