  1. Interesting that the seven in Acts were ordained to serve tables.. no years of hazing in some kind of program.. no being "trained" as prophets or some such nonsense. Pretty sharp contrast to the vicster's program- taught how to sell, to run classes, given a name tag to be revered, rake in the money..
  2. Well, I think it's a fair question. How many fringe, or lunatic conspiracy theories do they hold to? The now defunct Liberty Lobby was a prime source of the vicster's "revelation".. how much of this do they lay claim to as part of the "heritage"? Is the "myth" of the six million recommended reading? Or leuchter's "scientific" reports? Still waiting for a few answers.. problem is, the questions keep piling up..
  3. I think he's painted himself into a corner.. "undereducated buffoon" really was not a personal remark. More of an observation. Where's he gonna go if (or when) they cut him loose? Like loy, I don't see fortune 500 companies fighting over him..
  4. going one thought further.. isn't the claim that the vicster "rightly divided" ANYTHING a pretty big assumption? "Everybody divides the word".. is that so? "the question is not whether we divide the word, only that we rightly divide it.." Really? "borrowed", copied.. plagiarized, extorted from.. maybe. But "rightly divided"? I really don't think so.. about the only thing he could "rightly divide" were the pages before putting them in the copier.. I dunno. Any dufas who can read can pick up a bible and a concordance and do a "word study".. oh. Welcome back, Johnny Lingo..
  5. In the end though, I think he's proven to be an under-educated buffoon.. or will be.
  6. Happy Birthday! I see you passed one of the striations of the continum, but not to worry. Soon, very soon, (three more years daggone it) you'll be in one of your primes. :)
  7. I think it's fair to say when loy left, these sycophants didn't change, they just shifted gears..
  8. I dunno.. I just can't commit to any one given belief anymore..
  9. I dunno.. if that's what it took for me to separate myself from a lying, plagiarizing, thieving, adulterous, incestuous sob.. I'd say it- "I do not believe".. "sorry jacko.. sell your ineffective nonsense somewhere else.." even a "dumb" animal can chew it's leg off to get out of the trap..
  10. What I wonder.. just suppose the pope acquired an aircraft carrier, set sail for New Knoxville to initiate a new inquisition.. what was the loyster gonna actually DO about it? Put on another set of tights? To make war on foreign soil nowadays you need at least three things, at least my history prof claims: 1. Have to have a navy that can go into "blue" water.. 2. be able to bomb the *%^#& out of the other country with missles, at least inter-continentally.. 3. have long range bombers. I really don't think a used aircraft carrier qualifies as a threat, exactly.. I think loy's reaction to this rumor, whether true or not, was ludicrous.. typical of insane paranoia.
  11. JJ, could you post the link again? all I got was a board error message..
  12. Is it possible it was an April first issue?
  13. You just need a few more volunteers to chop and sell fire wood, Ron..
  14. a few names would likewise help.. I would imagine you wouldn't get in to make a bid without at least presenting a calling card..
  15. Just another undereducated buffoon with delusions of godhood (ahem, way corps *grad*) given authority during loy's "reign of terror" over people's lives..
  16. Catcup, isn't he one of these supposed "kindler, gentler" leadership that some have claimed are currently in twi? I remember that story too.. he told it with pride here too. Sad to say, my state produced him..
  17. Yep. Amazing the kinds of intrusions they made into people's lives. Who you date, who you marry, who you associate with, what a person reads.. I was out by the time my kids started dating to any degree.. thank God.. worrying about getting their possible future mates through some damn class was the last consideration..
  18. I dunno. Sounds pretty sick to me. I think they call it bait and switch.
  19. This might be a little off topic, maybe not.. mabe it's how NOT to treat a homosexual.. I'm not angry. These are just a few observations. http://www.pbs.org/saf/1505/features/lia2.htm I think loy boy's paranoia and inquistion was as primitive. I mean, we all *know* that "god" wants to *bless* us with more abundance than we possibly could know what to do with in one lifetime, eh? Well.. something's gotta be "wrong". Lessee.. what's "wrong" in America.. It's.. liberals. Yeah.. one "twig" in an offshoot I was lightly involved with said so. Why, you might not turn "homo" overnight, but such beliefs would open you up to devilish influences.. It's the practioners of Wicca. Sure, that's gotta be it.. making room for all kinds of debils.. maybe it's the Jews, like in Nazi Germany.. they got the blame for practically all of Germany's woe.. forget that the Kaiser bit off more than he could chew, got his donkey kicked.. I would say that most of us here were subjected to the same kind of categorization, fault, and blame. what was "wrong" with the old ministry.. had to be the "homos".. they were the "biblical" number one target.. loy ran them off.. and did things get better? The skies turn from bronze to silver? Then those considered "weak", "compromised" to the extent they wouldn't hand over fifteen percent of their income.. Then those "unproductive".. those who couldn't sell loyboy's package to the masses.. Then those in debt.. that's gotta be the problem.. get out of debt, or get out.. Then those who couldn't keep up with a family, two, three kids or more, clean leader's houses, AND keep the top of their refrigerator up to the standards of the latest loywanabe to visit the area.. So, in PRACTICAL terms, doesn't this categorization of a group of people as "sinful" or being some kind of living spiritual treachery at worst, or godless.. or from whom one must make up for lack of believing or spiritual attack by much prayer, intercession and the like..or to regard them as a (or the) cause of some woe, or such.. doesn't it sound kinda, well, "Wayish"?
  20. I wonder if they feature "The Myth of the Six Million" and "Hoax of the Twentieth Century" in their bookstore..
  21. Hmmm. Could be why he didn't have it in him to go fight in the war against der faderland..
  22. Anybody know if the lawsuits still going? Or did it just kinda go "fizz"..?
  23. Yeesh.. even sounds like one of the vicster's "teachings" at one of the ROA's.. same intonation.. very eerie..
  24. "I'd rather see a sermon, than hear one any day.." the words of the vicster condemns himself, and those like him.. "they hold(?) the truth, but they truth does not hold them.." wow.. what a "sermon".. he really "holds" the "word".. ptooie.
