  1. Skyrider's words on another thread seem to fit here. in the old ministry, I don't think it REALLY was about what vic described with tears in the eyes, "building MEN and WOMEN..". It was about building an ORGANIZATION. People be damned.. And there is no accountability. The guy on top has power to "terminate the program at any time", "dismiss ANY participant" at any given moment, at his SOLE DISCRETION. And he is- NEVER WRONG. On any count.. I bet they "ordain" almost every single first graduate of the program..
  2. Apparently if one wants to get in the mog business, they'll put up a link for you.. I would like to see their requirements just a TAD higher. Like.. the linked website has to say who's running the thing.. who's on board, what the curriculum is.. who's teaching what.. it's fine that perhaps THEY (cff) know the who's and what's about the program, but what about anyone else? And what about the disclaimer? Is it.. "use at your own risk"? Supposedly it's Cour*right's believer link page.. why then doesn't it stay on Cour*right's internet website? The "sowers" seem to be going the way of der vey.. don't "owe" anybody any kind of explanation, or accountability, other than to themselves.. it's been what.. a couple of years since groundbreaking.. and their site leaves the outside world to merely guess about who's running it, their qualifications, their history.. if this is the will of gawd, you'd think they'd want to be found.. All of this secrecy leads me to think they are delusional, and that they actually think the lord told them to hole up in rural mississippi..

    Song of the moment

I have a black cat in the house.. a house just isn't a house without a black cat..
  4. especially if it is a sequel of a really really bad show to begin with.. since they aren't exactly forthcoming on staff and qualifications.. I have a few questions for those "in the know", maybe they could forward them to the appropriate people- note, they are not accusations. 1. As staff or leadership in the old ministry, did you abuse your position of authority, power of rendering summary judgment, and betray your trust between God and other believers? 2. As old leadership, were you aware of those who broke trust and condoned it, made excuses for perpetrators and covered for it? 3. What are you doing to keep the same abuses from happening again? Or do you hold to the myth of the mog, that he can do no wrong? Answer the questions to yourself if you wish.
  5. I'd consider going to this church: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_067ahbXfg
  6. I dunno.. maybe a list of popularly voted "toxic posters" on the top of the forums might help.. at this point, I don't think there's any good solution.. ban him, "we" are "bad".. let him stay, chase off people who otherwise may tell their story.. "we" are "bad".. option three. Use pixie dust. No, I'm not kidding. "well, bless your wonderful little ole heart. Of course you disagree with all this. That's ok." *licks lips*.. "pucker up sweetie, let me give you a big old kiss.." *Muwwwwaaah".

another thought. He allegedly betrayed his position of power in one organization.. what in the world makes him think he should be trusted in ANOTHER organization? Maybe jl wasn't as depraved as loy in the old organization, but making him the one MOSTLY in charge of a "church", makes as much sense as spanking loy, and putting him in charge of research..
  8. The "ignore" button does wonders.. providing the rest of the community doesn't hit the "quote" button should they decide to respond.. I haven't seen a single quote of Oldies or WD that proves to be REALLY relevant or even worth reading. WD turned down some of my first hand testimony here, just ONCE.. I'm done with him..
  9. I dunno. Maybe he just gets a kick out of INCITING a mob. Perhaps similar to walking into a bar inhabited by hordes of muscle-bound bikers, and shouting at the top of one's lungs, "you're all a bunch of lilly livered cowards, nothing you say is true..you should paint all your bikes yellow.." and then relying on the bouncers to save his miserable hide.. I think people have been rather kind here. I think some people insist upon bringing out man's worse nature. It's destructive testing. Push the right buttons long enough, gouge enough, get a negative reaction, and say "see, I was right. You're no better than *them*.." but no, they won't say it. They let someone else who hasn't followed the nonsense post it: "looks like you've come full circle.. now you're marking and avoiding the poor fella.. JUST LIKE DA WAY.." he's probably laughing his a** off..

He's saying "there will be NO DIALOGUE" even in the style that he writes.. sheesh. "I'm da master. Study what I say.." good grief..

    The Way, It Was

But it passed msword's spell and grammer checker.. here's what a little "doohickey" on line says about it: http://www.online-utility.org/english/read...and_improve.jsp A SMOG rating of 19 indicates one needs a post grad degree to understand this sentence with one reading! isn't it just so wonderful to be talked down to in this manner? Why doesn't he just make his point, and get on with it? Instead, I am treated to an epistle that takes an ordinary human being fifteen or so readings before they can comprehend what he's saying.. I don't think he's trying to communicate as such. It's such a morass of s*it to sort through.. I think the purpose is more pavlovian.. ring the right kind of wayspeak bells..
  12. The interesting thing.. with few exceptions.. I think our little "coming out".. little bid for independance.. was fraught with doubt.. it doesn't exactly agree with scripture as such..
  13. I was looking for family also. At this point, I think what they promised was an illusion..
  14. As far as God, the secrets of the universe, the answer to everything and all.. I think this little experience on a rather small, insignificant(?) piece of rock.. was worth everything it promised to be..
  15. doesn't hurt much, to think , that is..
  16. I guess.. Instead of serving and contributing in a glorious palace, they'd rather perpeptuate the myth, and be the rulers in a beaten down farm in a Mississippi swamp.. it's pathetic..
  17. Seems two types of "bigwigs" left der vey, those who moved on, got a REAL life and profession, education, some real credentials, and those who just wanted to knowingly or unknowingly perpeptuate the scam.. I've seen it in a couple of individuals.. it's an itch that can't be scratched, and it won't go away. If they don't have the microphone and the podium.. they're ok.. for a few months. They are improving themselves.. maybe starting in a good profession, getting involved in the community, actually doing something beneficial- Then it starts. "well, what is all this good for unless *I* am moving *da WORD*?" It's almost like withdrawl from an addiction worse than heroin..

why can't people just be normal, ordinary.. what's the big deal? I really think being part of an organization that holds all the aces defines his existence.. even tried walking on water, raising the dead.. did he ever get any documentable results? that didn't work so well.. hmm. maybe we oughter try personal prophecies.. can't deny lack of "results" there, can we? I think modern christian hucksterism lies in this so called prophetic movement.. one doesn't HAVE to produce ANYTHING. Anything tangible, that is.. and the "prophet" can still wallow in self-importance.

I already have a pet rock. In fact, I've got a litter of them.. one is a three hundred granite.. a hundred pound sandstone.. and several dozen in the twenty to fifty pound category.. no thanks jl, I don't need any more..
  20. *lawyer stands to make his motion* "your honor, my (ahem) client is entirely innocent of being an abusive, obnoxious, mean spirited, hateful, plagiaristic and narccisic serial rapist. We seek damages, to the tune of $100,000,000.00." "but your client is dead, is he not? the defense has provided the court with the death certificate.." "true, your honor, but that is the whole point, isn't it? How could a dead man possibly perform any of these foul actions?"

by Spirit, a little-known group, at least today..
  22. I've read some of their materials.. "and I'm thankful for da *man* o gawd who taught us da gweatness of da wonderful, matchwess word.." as if he were some real kind of authority.. I haven't seen too much reference to his writings. they still call him "Doctor" wierwille.. I really can't give him that kind of honor.. "junior" regards him as a hero, some kind of god..
  23. I tend to believe the reports. I personally witnessed a group of wives being mentally and physically abused.. by "top leadership".. and one young lady counselled with screams to "just get over it and get laid". when someone jumps to these scumbuckets defense, it makes me ask why..
  24. Personally.. I don't see the attraction in making excuses for the vicster, or attempting to protect his "precious" name.. or to see that every jot and tittle as to legalities be fulfilled before bringing forth some kind of claim which supposedly slanders his "holy" name.. what's the big deal? He was caught with his pants down.. in more ways than one. The *man* even publically displayed pornography with MINORS present for gawd's sakes.. It seems the harder they fight for the rights of these scumbuckets, the more they contaminate the "ministry" and the name of the mogster they seek to protect.. I don't see the logic in this. Maybe that's the plan- seems quite effective smearing the mogster even worse. Or perhaps one's "ministry" depends on the teachings and reputation of the so called manogawd to remain unsullied.. perhaps for the scam to perpeptuate, one needs to do something about the old victims.. maybe every personal story and claim is yet another dig in the flesh for some.. or were the apologists victimizers themselves? Could it be that they are projecting their guilt in the situation? Weighing what might be needed to bring a conviction from some of these kind of claims? I dunno.. whatever their real motive is, I'd like to know. it's obviously not "the love of God"..
  25. What I wonder.. when will the PTSD rear it's ugly head and these poor women eventually come out by the droves to finish loyboy and crew off.. I don't think loy will have quite the following, support, and "enforcers" to keep them off his back.
