oh yes.. the tongues with interpretation thingy.. what did you think? the "message" very well may sound like it's "just for you".. but one needs to remember the person giving the "message" may know quite a bit more about the new guy at fellowship than the new guy realizes.. -

the last "fellowship" I went to that was loosely affiliated with ces, cff, etc.. the "teacher" carefully analyzed why liberals were supposedly so "screwed up".. that they have no logic.. just throw their minds to debils, or the least, are under their influence.. that one might not turn "homo" overnight, but slowly, gradually, one day.. that *they* are so deceived, unlike *us*, who "know the truth.." I was polite. I sat there, jangled my head up and down like the rest of the crowd.. (didn't want them to think *I* held a few liberal ideas, and subsequently, was "screwed up" or "posessed). But I "escaped" their spiritual "radar".. the possessed Squirrel slowly made his way for the door.. The teaching was over.. had a cup of coffee.. shook a few hands.. and I NEVER WENT BACK. that was during the last election. No, not 2008. The one before. -

Seems to me.. should I say it? Arguing with wd about the vicster's guilt or lack therof.. is like arguing with Mike about the supposed merits of pfal.. Just an observation. Don't take it personally, but wd.. you really seem to be what's the word.. a NOVICE. A novice, in legal matters.. about as qualified to judge legal matters as a barely post-freshman psychology major is qualified to practice psychiatry.. at least that's what I perceive in your posts.. they seem SOPHMORIC. That's the word. No documentation with case law.. court records.. just assertions of sophmoric legal mumbo jumbo that a real professional would not waste the time to debate with you.. don't take it as a personal attack. You are probabaly otherwise a wonderful human being.. -

or if there is a systematic method of bible study, designed to break down your "illogical" beliefs.. "I staunchly believe in the trinity" is almost like marking yourself with a bullseye for some wayers and ex-wayers.. a lot of these groups inherit the vicster's intolerance and opinion that many adherants to the trinity are "possessed of devils".. too blinded to understand their "truth".. they really think.. that if one is "compromised" enough to believe it, they've given up their free will.. that very well may be the undercurrent you will find yourself dealing with.. -

and.. very likely, *they* (or whoever runs the thing) will be ready for YOU.. you very well may find yourself facing a pure stranger who somehow suddenly knows quite a bit about you.. little personal things you may have related to your "friends" in class.. -

I'd straight up ask them about the lawsuits and prophecy fiasco.. and wouldn't accept how "we don't air our dirty laundry for Jesus' sake" or some such nonsense.. of course if they are merely "affililated" with stfi.. they might not even KNOW about any of this.. might end up just being merely a harmless bible fellowship.. But it might be a good history lesson.. very likely, unless they stray into relm of nose spiders and the really biazarre, you will witness practically exactly how a way fellowship was conducted in the seventies through the nineties, along with a demonstration of how da way taught and practiced tongues with interpretation and prophecy. They will EXPECT you to be dazzled.. I'd remember two words: love bombing.. -
I wonder what emboldened these MORONS to do something like that in front of a "witness".. maybe they thought I was too beat down to say or do anything about it.. well.. they were right, at the moment..
-
I personally witnessed three wives publically abused and humiliated.. back in the "good old days".. 1976. oh yeah.. the "men" were (supposedly) LEADERS.. one handpicked by the vicster himself.. (supposedly) a REVERAND.. the other two, handpicked by the guy the vicster chose..

If the profile is right, this guy was born in 1909.

interesting how they manufactured a god who was a bully, a grumpus.. wouldn't move a muscle to help an individual, unless one sacrificed blood, sweat and tears.. hmm. 15 percent, or more.. of one's gross income required.. sounds like a "divine protection" racket now..

I still vote with "channeling" like as in with Arthur Ford and others.. to me it looks like the same activity.. just different terminology. Same scam. of course he would ARGUE that it was very different.. I've read advertisements which promise "results"- from a "unique" way to study witchcraft, the kaballah, spiritualism.. and if one substituted the words "bible", "pfal".. they read almost identically.. the specific beliefs apparently have no correlation in regards to the "results"..

it was.. it was.. *drumroll* the guy in the middle of the other photo wearing what looks like designer khaki's what I wonder is.. if the "women" in his life (rosie, donna..) told him it was a good idea.. I think he even masqueraded as Joshua once.. I dunno.. maybe she gets a kick out of running something that resembles to me, for lack of better words, a "looney bin". One could cast her as a pretty wicked looking nurse Ratched..

Provided for .. for the lack of better words.. "nutcases".. did he REALLY think he was Paul of Tarsus? Maybe he thought that was his "day job".. but- what the tithe really SHOULD HAVE provided for... a shave, and a half way decent haircut..
-
so... what does the tithe supposedly provide FOR? I know it is a few years old.. but don't they still take an anual trip to a warmer place in the world?

maybe what I'm trying to say.. you seem to confuse OPINIONS with VERDICTS. they really are not the same.. are opinions valuable? Yes. Are verdicts? I would say generally, yes.. but are OPINIONS and verdiicts.. are they supposed to be one and the same? generally- no. So a RESPONSIBLE individual.. takes what one is presented with.. and pursues truth. -

If it makes any difference.. I'm more than glad he and offspring found a living with financial consultation and such.. I't's just.. there are a few "dead bodies" in the closet he's got to deal with. And I'm not going to chase him down to deal with it.. sorry. -

unless.. you have something PERSONALLY involved here.. well.. just a thought.. well.. if you happen to see K*rt.. I'm sure he'd remember me with the few details I've given. I don't care to go through the CES (or STFI) hoops to contact him. West Virginia. Bluefield, 1976. There were not many of us there.. only three or four. I'm sure he can remember.. -

Juvenile. a little forum, a little, itty bitty place.. out in the great expanse.. it just does not make a whole lot of sense to me.. -
