  1. if proverbs is right.. they are wounded, dishonored and stained.. and it just can't be rinsed off or something..
  2. what I wonder.. are these guys so naive as to think that this kind of tainted past would not come back to bite them in the a**? sexual "indescretions".. abusive behavior.. etc. etc.. my opinion.. they are married to it.. and unlike vic's assertion.. it really isn't "available" to believe sufficiently to have the past covered up, where even da debil can't get to it..
  3. I don't see for such a small, eroding, second rate organization.. why they think it is so important, not to spy on employees, or ex-employees as such, but ex-volunteers? Everything that's needs to be said basically has already been said. There are new faces, new accounts at times, but they only corroborate what people already know.. so what's the big deal? Nothing technically libelous or slanderous has been written.. just personal accounts. And there are no corporate secrets here to be stolen.. nothing worth anything, at least in terms of dollars and cents.. they trashed their own reputation long ago.. I would imagine, the characters who monitor this site, it isn't their "day job" at hq or other places.. they probably have to clean oil spots up in the parking lots from old wowmobiles.. pick up litter cast out of the windows of locals driving by.. and the like, on the way to "work".. only two things make sense to me: either they know of atrocities undreamed of here, and they don't want rosie to get any suprises.. or they just went "funny" in the head.. or both..
  4. hard to believe, but I guess she was somebody's baby, once..
  5. sounds like you are describing "da word like it hasn't been known since the first century"..
  6. Everything was "perfect" once. The whole "trick" is to put it all back in the box..
  7. I'll say what gave me a CLUE.. I was at headquarters, sometime close to when I left.. and I saw a person on staff I knew for years.. I said "you must be so BLESSED to be here.." and the person noticeably rolled their eyes up into their head.. that really got my attention.. unfortunately, the person is still there... last I knew.
  8. but.. I knew a character in the early seventies.. took four hits of LSD a couple of hours before going to see Disney's Fantasia.. it took a few days, but he finally started talking again..
  9. I kinda agree with much of your "rant".. in my case, I stayed in the old *ministry* I don't think so much because of lack of cognitive thinking skills.. more because I was kept in the dark. Didn't have any reason to consider or question what was going on at hq.. but still, I think a person has to ask *why* this kind of "training" has such a detrimental effect on whole congregations and such.. and why people seem to voluntarily line up to be beaten mentally by less than educated second rate hacks in some kind of bizarre religious "survivor series" or something..
  10. With loy's public rants, they probably have more on him than they ever would need..
  11. A psychiatric institute might be willing to fork out literally thousands of dollars to have a *legitimate* copy that they could use to put a few hours of insane drivel through some kind of analysis.. sowie, I'm just feeling like a bad Squirrel today.. I'd like to see the analysis when they finally reach the castration of Noah section..
  12. I wonder what an original copy of one of the advanced classes would fetch on ebay.. and you just KNOW there were some of these "gifted".. LEGITIMATELY, to more than a couple folks..
  13. I wonder what this means to them in terms of the rest of the classes.. with no clear verbiage about distribution and such.. I hear there are lots of legitimately acquired copies of almost EVERYTHING they "published" floating around..
  14. they could take the easy route.. just BUY THE TAPES.. 1. It'll get it off ebay.. 2. keep it out of the hands of "heathens", researchers in strange religions or worse.. 3. Save themselves from identification with in the best words possible, a doctrinal embarassment.. its only a measely 5k.. cmon guys, get with it.. I mean really.. how much money did this particular set of tapes actually bring in da *ministry* for you, in the long run? Figure 85.00 a shot for about a hundred people give or take, then of those the tithes and "abundant sharing" through the years? $5000.00 is about right here..
  15. Inbreeding.. Rosie meets the new apprentice, looks both heads in the eyes, shakes his six-fingered hand.. " *ahem*.. you must be Linder's replacement.."
  16. again, don't take me wrong here.. but just perhaps, "Vinnie" could speak for himself.. unless he puts himself in the same category as j.l.'s arrogance where people can just read his book or something.. why is the burden on *ME* (or others) to chase these characters down? I think we view these "characters" far too much as some kinds of celebrities or something..
  17. If you don't know, this pretty much describes my first pfal class', and a few after it..
  18. maybe we should have a collection here, of used coffee grounds that they can stretch in the middle of the night.. must be hard to stay awake all those hours, sifting through all this..
  19. maybe I'll advertise the rest of the pfal package to go with the tapes on ebay.. "hurry hurry hurry... can't have a class without a class kit.. for a limited time, you can have a standard kit, including: forty uncushioned metal chairs, that the funeral home was done with. used string for proper positioning of said chairs.. (those that aren't warped, and will sit square on the floor, anyway) a five gallon westinghouse percolator, that the church didn't want back.. Ten pounds of gently used coffee grounds.. along with a half a pound of salt, to *refresh* the flavor. twenty-five *slightly* used styrofoam cups, complete with genuine lipstick stains and teeth marks. offer is time-limited. Bids start at $2500.00. Sorry, we only accept pay-pal." DWBH.. that was the author of post 63.
  20. maybe the sowers people will make an offer. they could probably use a LEGAL copy to play to glassy eyed "followers".. I'll donate the "gently used" coffee grounds for the stretched coffee
  21. and.. it is still up on Ebay! you just KNOW it would be down by now if twi could actually do anything.. and lookie what somebody posted there.. go Galen, go..
  22. I'd soften it a little.. and say there is LITTLE difference between *them* and the Roman Catholic Church.. they have perhaps a lot of different dressing in the windows.. but they all seem to agree on the Apostle's Creed.. on core values they tend to agree. but from what I've observed.. there is more oversight in the Roman Catholic Church than almost EVERY twi offshoot I've had the "pleasure" to have encountered. like the new sowers thingy.. they appear to me to be only answerable to their own overaged egotistical pudgy selves.. I asked nicely the first time if this was indeed the case.. I dunno.. it's just the mentality.. "if we build it, *they* (like zombies) will come.."
  23. maybe they should just make an offer to buy them all back, if they want to save the "product" from us "heathens".. I mean, really.. people shoveled out hard earned cash for university of life tapes, etc. etc.. if they don't want to see their doctrinal embarassments languishing away on ebay or something.. why not just make a (really good) offer? well ... it's a thought, anyway..
  24. I dunno.. don't read hostility in me, please. I appreciate what you've posted.. but I just have a few observations.. what he's done, looks like to me like the same cart, the same horse, just a different carrot..
  25. Yep. Well, in a practical sense.. what's the real difference? I mean.. either do works, jump through the hoops to maintain "salvation" or "rewards".. the end result is pretty much the same.. jumping through hoops..
